Incredible experience!
We had an amazing family holiday in Uganda, with thanks to Diana and our guide Ronnie. We visited Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth National Park and finally the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see the Mountain Gorillas. Ronnie went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable trip and ensured our safety at all times. Would highly recommend using Intek Travel for your trip.

Mountain Gorilla's has been on my bucket list for years.
When asking where to go, everyone with knowledge pointed me to Uganda and to Intek Travel as the best tour organizer.
I hooked up with Diana Najjombwe <diana@intektravel.com> and she put together the PERFECT itinerary for me and my family - planned down the every little detail with the most wonderful lodges and permits to the national parks and wildlife reserves and she even sent packing guides, she provided visa application support. And she hooked us up with the most FANTASTIC tour guide.
On Arrival, tour guide, Wilson Bwire <wilson.bwire@gmail.com> met us in the airport and took complete control so we could relax and enjoy the ride. Throughout the trip he helped us get up in time to have the best wildlife sightings and to hit the right lunch venues on route and to arrive at the lodges in time for dinner. And he did it in the most charming way. After this trip, I consider Mr. Wilson one of my friends. And Intek Travel as the best travel organizer in East Africa.

Very smooth and quality travel accompaniment
Went for gorillatrek in Bwindi, coming from Nairobi. Everything was very clear and well explained before departure. Allong the way, we encountered no problems whatsoever and were very well taken care of every step of the way; from airport transfers to lodge, to forest and back. Just the right amount of assistance vs flexibility and privacy.

Initial nerves when deciding to go to Uganda? You're in good hands with Intek Travel
Diana, the travel agent at Intek Travel was exceptional in making our holiday a truly positive experience.
She came recommended to us, but she exceeded all expectations in every respect.
Diana dealt with us in such a friendly and professional manner, that my whole perception of what good customer service entailed, has been reset. All of our emails, our questions, even our doubts... Diana always responded, even if it was only to acknowledge that she had received our email, and let us know how long before she got back. Her advice proved to be spot on, and our tour was everything we could hope for. As it turned out, we never met Diana in person, just via email but I can't speak highly enough of how professional and helpful her responses were.
Together, we customised a tour to suit our needs and wishes, and it did that and more. Things were clearly set out in writing which allowed us good preparation and peace of mind.
With Wilson as our guide and driver, we had an excellent time. We particularly appreciated that everything was included in the price (apart from a few tips), and Wilson always kept us informed and prepared for what was coming up. He handled things with a calm, courteous and fun manner. It is a pleasure to recommend Intek, Diana and Wilson... and Uganda too is a lovely country to travel!

Helpful and Professional
Diana was very helpful in setting up my Gorilla Tracking excursion to Bwindi. She did all of the leg work so that all we had to do was enjoy the trip.
Robert, our driver, was courteous and professional and provided invaluable assistance during the trip.

Extraordinary Experience With Great Staffing and Organization
I went to Murchison Falls in a family group of 11 people (adults and 3 kids). We were there for 4 days of safari, and we all absolutely loved it. (I will note that Diana at Intek was patient and lovely with our various pre-safari questions. Her communications were clear and she was happy to clarify if/when needed.)
We were in 2 vans, and our drivers/tour guides (Ronnie and Abdullah) took us kindly and thoughtfully every step of the way. They were knowledgeable and approachable, and while we felt very safe, they also took an exciting approach to the experience (eg, driving off the path into the tall grasses of the Savannah on occasion). They were patient and it was great to really trust them as they days went on. They literally made every effort to make sure our itinerary went smoothly as as originally-described. They really went above and beyond.
We stayed at Paraa and Chobe Safari lodges, and those were also great experiences (staff was better at Paraa). Our boat tour guide, Ben, was excellent.
The whole experience exceeded expectation. We saw so many incredible animals and beautiful landscapes -- truly a magical holiday that was once in a lifetime.

We have returned from our four day safari and it was excellent! I can't imagine how our trip could have been better. Everything was absolutely excellent! We loved our guide - Wilson. What a great guide. He went above and beyond in everything he did for us and ensuring our safety but also that we had an excellent tour. When he took us to game tour - he was outstanding. He took us to places I doubt others go and he pointed out animals we didn't see until he showed us. It was utterly amazing.
Please know that if we ever come back to Uganda and do another trip, we will be contacting Intek Travel!
