Thanks, Tongesai!

Great experience with Tongesai. He came to our hotel to explain everything and answer questions the day before, then picked us up and drove us out to Sable Sands, which was an excellent experience. Picked us up again for the return trip to Victoria Falls. Also runs a music shop at Elephant's Walk shopping center in town. Very friendly, helpful, and reliable.

Possibly the best part of our 2.5 week Zimbabwe trip.

Hi there,

Tongesai was fantastic and Sable Sands at Hwange Park was perhaps the best part of our trip. I don't usually write reviews for things unless they were awful, hehe, but Tongesai's assistance and the Sable Sands Safari were fantastic. Tongesai even introduced us to other folks in Victoria Falls that we were hoping to meet to discuss some business things we had.

He was on time, a quick communicator and so helpful.

Thank you!

Amazing Four Day Tour of Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park
5/5

I was in South Africa for work, and wanted to spend the weekend seeing sights beyond South Africa. So I set my sights on Zimbabwe and Botswana and used Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to book my visit. Everything was very smooth from the pre-travel communication to the actual weekend travel. Tongesai was very professional, and my tour followed the itinerary exactly, with no hiccups. The Hotel, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, felt a little worn, but that completely faded away as I sat overlooking elephants, giraffes and impalas drinking from the watering hole facing the hotel. The highlight of my trip was reading on my balcony with a family of elephants eating the brush directly below! Additional highlights of the weekend were the helicopter ride of Victoria Falls and the private tour Tongesai provided of the falls themselves. I also enjoyed walking through town and heading to Botswana to see the Chobe National Park, home of an amazing number of elephants. Thank you Tongesai for making my short visit one I will remember!

Professional tour planning with a local operator
5/5

Tongesai provided professional service with excellent communications to arrange our three day Hwange safari at Sable Sands. Tongesai and his company can arrange many different personalized trip itineraries and tours, but we only had him help with the safari booking and transport to Sable Sands. He provided clean, safe transport with excellent driving (he drove us himself). Sable Sands itself is an excellent safari lodge with professional guides that we greatly enjoyed. Sitting at dinner watching the staff encourage elephants to move off the lodge grounds, and being kept awake listening to elephants splashing in the water hole and trumpeting outside our hut is a particular memory.
In all, we felt Cultural Vibes provided a good value and professional booking service. Payment was simple using a secure bank payment system (a sort of PayPal), and much cheaper than bank transfers. Tongesai also has a shop in the Elephant Walk shopping area, and we got some batik table runners there.

Tongasai from Cultural vibes Travel & tours did pick us up personally in Budlawayo and drove us to the Nwange Lodge for over night stay. After the game the next day , he did drive us to Vic falls. On the way we discussed potential events in Vic falls. Tonagesai did suggest a lot of good events and helped us book these events even though we did arrive late . He also picked us up at the lodge in Vic falls the next day and drove us to the vic falls and back. Very good service

Great Service, Highly recommended
5/5

We booked our trip with Tongesai and we were very impressed and pleased with all of the services. We were a bit apprehensive at first since there weren't many reviews and since we had to wire money beforehand, however, Tongesai was very thoughtful and communicative and provided us with an ideal itinerary. He ensured that all of our activities and travel accommodations were seamless and the tours he set up were amazing. I would highly recommend doing the Devil's pool at the Royal Livingstone Hotel. He was very knowledgeable and was able to provide us with suggestions that based our interest. Thank you, Tongesai for a very memorable trip!

Highly professional, friendly, extremely reliable, an absolute pleasure to manage my package
5/5

My experience with Cultural Vibes, Mr Tongesai Mutematsaka, was outstanding, with efficient and speedy communications, extremely reliable and dependable service in terms of collections, timing etc. The resort recommended, Ivory Lodge, was first class and highly recommended for a quality and comfortable stay. Overall, value for money, friendliness and reliability, I cannot recommend Cultural Vibes and Tours highly enough and it was my pleasure to support him for a true Zimbabwean experience.

Excellent and tailored service. Tongesai was organized and acommodating to my requests in VFA!
5/5

Tongesai was communicative about any changes to the itinerary and activities for each day. The tours were often times led by other operators, but Tongesai always made the effort to make sure they tied in nicely, both schedule and activity-wise. I had 5 days and 4 nights in Victoria Falls and managed to experience a lot of what is on offer in the town and region, including a day trip to Chobe NP in Botswana, and, remarkably, a solo flight in a helicopter over the falls. The restaurants reserved for meals were of good quality and diverse. The lodge picked by Tongesai, Bayete Lodge, was excellent, a true oasis.
I would recommend communicating to Tongesai what your ideas are for the allocated time in Victoria Falls and seeing what is possible - having a local's perspective, he can allocate you to what best suits your needs and aspirations during your time there.

Tongesai was EXTREMELY responsive to emails and customized our trip exactly as we requested.
5/5

A vacation truly feels like a vacation when the only thing you have to worry about it getting yourself to the airport. From the airport pick up, to the resort, to the numerous adventures and tours, to the last minute shopping trip, and the return to the airport, everything went so smoothly. Tongesai did a great job tailoring our (way too quick 2.5 day) adventure to exactly what we wanted. Instead of doing a helicopter ride we opted for an additional day on a game drive to Chobe National Park. This also gave us some much needed time for shopping at Elephant Walk and the market. We stayed at the Bayete Resort which is a beautiful place with helpful staff and great accommodations. The pool was a nice relaxing treat for the end of adventure filled days. The Boma Dinner was so much fun, the falls were gorgeous, and it was really nice seeing the rhinos making a comeback on the Stanley and Livingstone Reserve. If you have never considered Zimbabwe a destination resort, then you must reconsider. From beginning to end, the people of Zimbabwe were some of the most friendly people I have met on the planet. Thank you to all and a special thank you to Tongesai for making this such a special vacation:)
