Fantastic trip in Kenya! I believe William is the best driver in Safari!
Thanks Tekko! Thanks Carol arranged the best trip. We did a lot of communications before the trip and she gave all the answers with our questions. Thanks William who is our driver. I think he is the best driver in the safari trip. Strongly recommend Tekko and William in your Kenya trip!

Excellent service from Tekko Tours in the planning and execution of a once in a lifetime safari.
Tekko Tours were excellent. They distinquished themselves from others in my initial online search as a value for money provider by starting their safari on Day 1. Thereafter, Carol was quick, responsive, patient and creative in answering my many questions as we developed a programme together. She was at the airport to meet us and to pass us over to the first of 2 very good drivers and guides who took us through a 10 day safari. We had a wonderful time in Amboseli, Aberdare, Olpejeta, Samburu and the Masai Mara. The mid-range lodges offered good to excellent accommodation. The safaris themselves were amazing. So I would firmly recommend Tekko Tours.

Excellent from start to finish
I booked a safari in the Maasai Mara, helped along the process by Carol. The booking process could not have been easier. Given a safari is often a once in a lifetime trip, I wanted to make sure everything was perfect for myself and my family. As such, I had a lot of questions during the booking process and Carol was prompt with her responses and suggestion at every occasion.
Once we arrived in Nairobi, we were greeted by the brilliant William to transfer us to our hotel, followed by meeting our safari driver, Charles, for the start of the safari. I couldn't speak highly enough about Charles. Polite and approachable, knowledgeable and easy-going, you could tell how well respected he was, given his 15+ years of experience and his interactions with other drivers and hotel staff. Using his expert knowledge, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big 5, the wildebeest migration and, amazingly, a lioness kill on our final morning. His driving was excellent and made us feel safe, even amongst some pretty "creative" drivers in and around Nairobi and the Great Rift Valley!
I couldn't recommend Charles, Carol and Tekko Tours any higher - truly excellent from start to finish.

Stellar customer service along with an amazing Safari!
Tekko was recommended to us by a friend and we 100% would do the same. We just got dropped off at our hotel after a five day safari, and I couldn’t wait to sing the praises of our entire tour. From the first email I sent, Carol was extremely polite, professional, and quick to respond to my many (many many many) questions. Her detail to customer service was the reason we decided to book with Tekko. Our safari guide was Steven, and he definitely lived up to the hype. He has been doing safari tours for some time now and his experience shows. Steven knew where to go to find the animals we were hoping to see. His driving made us feel very safe. You could also tell he was well respected in the field because of his interactions with the other guides and all the staff at our camps. We saw so many incredible animals, met so many wonderful people, and with the beautiful scenery of Kenya to go along it will be something we remember for a lifetime. In fact, we plan to return with friends and family and will definitely use Tekko Tours again. We would like to thank everyone involved with making our Safari as spectacular as it was. A special “asante sana” to Carol and our “Rafiki,” Steven!

Best Kenya Safari Tour
We received exceptional service throughout the tour - from the point of booking the tour whilst we were enabled to make customizations on the tour through to the tour itself whereby our driver/guide was incredible.
From day 1 whereby I was arranging the tour I received great service sorting everything out and making a few adjustments.
When the tour started I realized how lucky we were as our guide had 25 years experience in doing the tours and thanks to his knowledge we were able to see all of the big 5 plus so much more. From speaking with other people who were doing similar tours it soon became apparent how lucky we were not only in terms of what we saw but how close we actually managed to be. This wasn’t by chance and was solely down to the expertise and incredible patience of our guide who constantly went the extra mile to ensure we had the best time possible.
I would also like to highlight the amazing places we stayed throughout the tour both in terms of being great locations and the sublime service we received.
Doing a safari in Kenya will no doubt be a great experience irrespective, but doing one with Tekko Tours will be a one of a kind.

Great Safari
My brother in law and I, booked a safari with Maggie around december 2018, comm was great, but when Maggie had a careerswitch we had to deal with Carol, also good, but could be a little more faster in her replies.
But that was the only little negative thing I can come up with.
We were picked up at the airport by Jackson, and from then on, the trip was great!
He knew so much about everything. Always friendly, good ideas and initiatives.
Thank you Tekko and of course Jackson, for a great vacation.

For custumerservice I recommend Tekko to welcome their clients at the airport, with at least a bottle of water in the jeep.

Fabulous! Carol was wonderful to plan with and Jackson was an excellent guide.
Communication with Carol was terrific during the planning stages. The actual trip with our guide, Jackson, exceeded all my wildest dreams and expectations - it was over the top wonderful. All of our accommodation was very nice, whether tented camp or lodge. Rooms and facilities were very nice, clean, food was good and staff were lovely. My only regret was not staying 2 nights+ at all locations - we had a mix of 1 and 2 nights, covering 6 parks in 10 days. It was all good, but the travel time between parks and lodges was long and I would recommend a 2 day stop at each location. Our game viewing was great in all the parks and reserves - each location was well worthwhile and we were thrilled. We had a total of 13 days in Kenya then we flew to Botswana for another 7 nights in 3 lodges then back to Nairobi. Our travel in Kenya will remain a highlight. I cannot recommend Tekko’s staff enough and Carol and Jackson were dream partners - absolutley excellent.

Wonderful 8 day safari with Jackson
Our initial contact with Tekko Tours was with Carol, who was very efficient, patient and detailed with planning our safari. All communications was done via email and was super-easy.
As for the actual safari, our guide Jackson was phenomenal. He is obviously a true professional and knows his stuff. His knowledge of the parks, animals, roads, people etc. is bar none. We saw all of the Big 5 and in the Mara he actually spotted two male lions before anyone else, and we were alone with the animals for at least 15 minutes. He was also a great and safe driver which is important once you see the driving situation in Kenya. In addition, he is a really nice person!
We can whole-heartedly recommend Tekko as your safari operators.

Excellent professionalism and a pleasure to have taken our safari with Tekko
Maggie was the primary contact with us and she was very patient and helpful in planning the safari. Tekko's price and service definitely beat other operators whom we were in touch with. The safari itself went well and we saw all the animals that we hoped and more. Although our vehicle needed to be swapped due to some issues, our driver Stephen made sure it never affected the safari itself. William, who took over the tour, was also very professional. I would definitely use Tekko again when we return!

Safari to Masai Mara
We used this company for our safari to Masai Mara in December. It was great that they organized everything, but it was expensive for 3 nights. Once we got to the hotel, we couldn’t figure out why it was so expensive because our camp wasn’t too great. The safari was amazing though, the guide and driver were amazing and made our trip, but they were more affiliated with the hotel rather than this company. We were told there would be WiFi, but there wasn’t. Only a few hours of electricity each day. Carol was great, and I asked her to reschedule my trip many times, but I think the company is charging too much. If you use credit card you also have to pay a large fee. We had a lot of fun though. You need to have a positive attitude though, like expect to get stuck in water. We stayed 3 nights at the same place which was great because we got to do more, and weren’t so exhausted moving around. We also flew on a small plane which was interesting but I’m happy we didn’t drive that far. We saw the buses that people who drove in had, they didn’t look as great as our land cruiser, more like a van.
