great experience; superb tour guide; excellent administrative support
5/5

Noah and Samuel provided excellent support from booking our hotel, arranging for my strict dietary restrictions to be accommodated, answering our many questions, and offering options for payment methods. Our safari tour guide and driver was fantastic! He was experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing his knowledge of the animals/area we are moving through. He was also conscientious and ensured to give animals a wide berth as not to encroach upon their natural movements (e.g. not being in the way for wildebeests crossing). He was a very safe driver. The terrain getting to/from our hotel and while driving in masai mara could get rough, tight, muddy, etc. But he worked through them with expertise. Overall, my group of friends were very happy with our safari experience.

Overall nice experience but a little more bang for buck expected
3/5

The staff were friendly and accommodating, changing the itinerary as per requests without fuss. The only thing we were really unhappy about was the driver's level of experience. While very nice and professional, he was just that, a driver. He clearly did not have a lot of experience as a guide and could not properly answer a lot of our questions. In the end we found out he was a trainee. If that was the case, I wonder why he was sent to guide us on his own instead of in accompaniment of an experienced guide from whom he could learn. For the money spent on this trip, that is the least Wildebeest Safari could have done. We would consider going with them again, but would certainly ensure we have someone who is more knowledgeable.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Ever since, if we are giving the trainees opportunities to learn, we send them with an experienced driver/guide to avoid such complaints. You are welcomed again to travel with us.

Kind Regards,
Noah

Amazing experience in the Masai Mara with Peter!
5/5

We had such an incredible experience! Noah was amazing to work with on the booking, planning, and payment side. He was easy to work with and did his best to accommodate every little ask our group had. We had very particular dietary restrictions and everything was communicated with the hotel as requested. Peter was our guide and was AWESOME! We saw most of the Big 5 before our 2nd day! He worked hard to try and find the most interesting things for us to view on our safari, was incredibly knowledgeable, and super funny! We had great communication everyday so we knew when and where to meet him and what to expect. I highly recommend using Wildebeest Safaris and request Peter!!!

Top notch Masai Mara Experience with Wildebeest Safaris
5/5

It was an absolutely amazing experience. When it comes to communication, Wildebeest come out at 110percent. Noah was very very very prompt to respond to my numerous emails. I must have sent him over 20 emails, and he responded swiftly to every one of them. That was very impressive.

Wilson and Samuel were already at the Airport waiting for us when we arrived and they made the welcome a pleasant one. Wilson was a great tour guide, answering loads of questions we had and helping us spot 4 of the Big 5 in a very quick time on our first game drive.

The accommodation given to us as part of the package by Wildebeest Safaris was wayyyy beyond our expectations. We stayed at the Zebra Plains Mara camp on a budget plan, and it was a really fantastic time out there. The accommodation was clean and lovely, and the staff were very very friendly. The food was awesome, and this was just a perfect way to start out our vacation, before we then headed to Nairobi town and then to Mauritius.

I absolutely enjoyed the package by Wildebeest Safaris, and will recommend them to anyone looking to do a wildlife safari tour in Kenya.

Memorable.
5/5

A safari trip to Kenya and Tanzania had been in our bucket list for a long time. Wildebeest Safaris made our dream come true. We are a family of six, with two kids of age 12 and 15 years, from two different continents, who met at Africa and had a fantastic experience. Noah Kuti of Wildebeest Safaris helped us create an itinerary that will fit our wish to see various parks. I communicated with various companies simultaneously when I started planning our trip and Wildebeest provided an awesome itinerary that is more reasonably priced compared to other agencies. It has been a pleasure to communicate with Noah. He was very prompt to answer our questions about various issues regarding our trip. We have been to Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire, and Amboseli. Our guides Tim, Ayubu, and Jeff developed good rapport with us immediately. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. Each of them worked tirelessly for long hours to give us the best experience possible in the shortest time. We have seen the big five; over 50 lions in a span of 10 days. Seeing wildebeest migration in northern Serengeti and a lion killing a wildebeest in Masai Mara are the highlights of our tour. Sometimes we waited for hours as drama unfolded in the forests and experienced wildlife in ways that reminded us of documentaries we watch on the National Geographic. We chose to be on the roads about 12 hours a day on many days to make the best use of our time. The accommodations arranged by Wildebeest were comfortable to help us rejuvenate for the next day. The staff at all locations were courteous and provided great service. Our trip was hectic for sure, but it was absolutely worth it. We are thankful to Wildebeest Safaris for an experience of a lifetime at a price we could afford.

They have the best wildebeest safaris
5/5

This place is amazing!!! They have animals of all sorts that are allowed to wander freely through the park. Visitors drive through the park and have up-close encounters with all the animals. They have a great Wildebeest Safaris.

He was very flexible with us and on conclusion of our scheduled activities
5/5

He had a superb knowledge of both flora and fauna, analyzing animal tracks and scat to help locate animals. On top of this, he was very good at reading the body language of animals - this helped in locating a lion pride. Once back in Nairobi, we did the full day Nairobi tour, again with our driver. He was very flexible with us and on conclusion of our scheduled activities, made suggestions of other things that we could do seen as we still had time remaining. Highly recommend!

Great safari experience with skilled/experienced driver/guide
5/5

We wen't on a 5N/6D safari across the parks/areas of Tarangiri, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara in early June and were quite happy with Wildebeest Safaris.

While Noah Kuti, the owner, was as communicative and clear as we'd expect, the biggest factor in our satisfaction was no doubt our skilled and experienced driver/guide Hamza, who managed to give us great viewing experiences of not only the Big Five (Black Rhino at a great distance, though), but also a Great Migration event consisting of a frenzied herd of thousands of Wildebeest + Zebras crossing a river in central Serengeti. The latter felt like I imagine it would feel like to see a crossing of Grumeti River with crocs and all, just that there were no crocs in the particular river location we observed 'our' crossing.

The lodges and tent camps chosen by Wildebeest Safaris for our safari were also quite alright, with just one negative thing (not major) to note about one of them (in separate review).

All in all we were quite happy and satisfied with our safari trip.

I'd say, however, that it depends very much on which driver/guide you get, so our advise is to try to ensure that you do get a truly experienced guide. Our driver/guide Hamza's 15 years experience of doing safaris in the area, as well as his good understanding and positive attitude, certainly played a role.
