Afromaxx makes you discover the beauty of Tanzania
We were able to enjoy a wonderful safari week in Tanzania with Afromaxx. The organization of the trip was flawless. We found our guide and driver Elifuraha to be a very friendly, competent companion. He was able to tell us a lot about the animals, people and nature. We always felt safe and in good hands. We return home with a heart filled with scents and colors and carry the sun from Africa here into the cold winter of Europe. We wish you as a team and especially Elifurahra a merry and blessed Christmas season and a successful 2024.

Liebes Afromaxx-Team,
meine Schwester 2 Freunde u. ich hatten die 3 Tage Big Five Safari gebucht und sind absolut begeistert. Unser deutschprachiger Guide hatte sich für die 3 Parks sehr viel Zeit genommen und war für jede Frage offen. Landschaftlich und menschlich ist Tansania ein Traum. Wir wurden von allen herzlich empfangen.
Am 4. Tag hatten wir eine Dorfbesichtigung mit Kräuterwanderung bei den Maseis. Uns wurde die Kultur und die lebensweise gezeigt.
Sehr interessant!

Dear Afromaxx team,
my sister 2 friends and I had booked the 3 day Big Five Safari and are absolutely thrilled. Our German-speaking guide had taken a lot of time for the 3 parks and was open to any question. Tanzania is a dream in terms of landscape and people. We were warmly welcomed by everyone.
On the 4th day we had a tour of the village with a herb hike near the Maseis. We were shown the culture and the way of life.
Very interesting!

wonderful safari days
Dear Afromaxx team
All expectations of our safari have been exceeded by you and your friendly staff.
From the first contact at the travel fair in Dresden with Ms. Schröder, about the preparation and the information by email before the trip, the pick-up at the airport and all transfers - were perfect and our good gut feeling was confirmed again and again from the beginning.
The highlight, however, was our driver and guide Charles. He has become a friend of ours these days. His loving and cordial nature, his almost perfect knowledge of German and the incredible knowledge of so many animals, especially the German names of all bird species seen, plus some anecdotes about the animals and the landscape were indescribably beautiful.
Finally, he brought a gift to each of us. Thanks for the great time with you Charles - we will be back, I promise. Ms. Schröder hold this man well.
Anyone who has ever seen this animal world live will not visit a zoo for many years.
The days to relax on Zanzibar were also wonderful.
All people in Tanzania are so friendly, even though they have so little. These days you learn to be humble again and thankful for the happiness that you were born on the other side of the earth. Anyone who has a problem with immigration in Europe should take a tour of an African village, visit people in their home, school or hospital ......
A few comments about the organization. Maybe you could consider organizing the first and last night in Arusha (near the airport) rather than in Moshi, which saves a lot of driving, time and fuel. We also found it a shame that our guide was not allowed to stay in every lodge and was not always allowed to eat at our table.
Another note on the visa. It is still possible to apply for this at the airport, the waiting time is exactly the same as with an online visa. An extra visa must also be applied for children under the age of 16, although we indicated our daughter (14 years) in the online visa.

Everything was perfectly organized and arranged. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big5... It was an amazing trip. Wildlife of Tanzania is incredible and it warms my heart to see that we still have a place on earth where animaly can actually live as they were supposed to. I will travel with Afromaxx again, I'm sure of it :)
Great holiday in great nature
A while ago we traveled with Afromaxx to Tansania. The very kind and professional guidance boosted our hype for this holiday. We enjoyed relaxing at excellent lodges, were impressed of delicate and luscious food menus. Wunderful adventures in breathtaking nature and its wildlife delighted us strongly. To see and watch the local animals in their natural home has been very exciting to us. Holiday like paradise. Thank you Afromaxx, will see you again

Amazing trip with Afromaxx to Tansania and Uganda in Autumn 2018
Hello Afromaxx!!! Greetings from Germany. We were now for the second time with Afromaxx in Africa on the way and also this time we are inspired by country and people and especially by the Afromaxx team. Our journey led us in the first week through Tanzania. Also this time we were enthusiastic about the animal world but also about the accommodations in the lodges. A special experience was my ascent of Ol Doinjo Lengai. A big thank you to the local Massai guide "James", who led Gabriel and me to the summit crater. Unfortunately the holy mountain of the Massai was not well disposed towards us on this day and denied us the view through the dense fog. In the descent we were compensated by breathtaking views to Lake Natron and the Serengeti Plain. Special thanks to our driver guide "Gabriel" who took care of our lost suitcase and took us safely and expertly through the country and the National Parks. In the second week we visited Uganda and were surprised by the difference to Tanzania. After a week with quite a lot of dust we experienced a lush, green country with wonderful landscapes and rain forests. Especially the animals, lions climbing trees, chimpanzees and gorillas will remain in our memory. With Kennedy, our driver guide, we also had an excellent, attentive and friendly companion in Uganda. Our thanks go once again to Gabriel and Kennedy, you are doing an excellent job!!! We don't think this was our last trip with Afromaxx, there is still enough to discover.

Wonderful Experience - very good organisation
Dear Afromaxx Team, after my return from Uganda I and we wanted to give a short feedback. The safari tour was also this time, like the Kilimanjaro tour, excellently organized. And Robert was an excellent driver and guide. He really took care of us so that we didn't miss anything and much was "on top". You really had the feeling he loved his job, and that came across. The lodges themselves were very well selected, especially the lodge as starting point for the tour to the mountain gorillas has a unique location with a unique view of the jungle. Of course we had additional luck with our bungalow no. 6. Uganda itself is of course a beautiful country, especially the landscape, nature and wildlife. If you accept the country as it is and do not expect a western standard, are open for country and people and get involved in the African life, then you experience a wonderful holiday with warm people. In their information sheets, which they send to the customer in advance, there was, among other things, one concerning the recommended clothes for the tour to the mountain gorillas. Here it would be perhaps still very helpful to add a "piece of clothing". Namely gaiters. Even if they are actually meant for snow, they are great for misusing for muddy jungle, especially when it rains.
