Good safari company
It was our first safari trip and we were very pleased and happy with our trip. On the safari tour we had very good driver John, who drove very well and we saw all the animals very closely. The communication was also very fast and professional. I would definitely recommend this safari company.

Sun up was great Chris was friendly ..always on time and responds with a big smile to all our needs and any additional requests..Hotels and lodges were superb. He delivered all what we agreed on and more .
Our guide Surat was just great..full marks in : driving..friendliness...dealing with situations...altering program to meet our needs...vast knowledge of all the parks we visited and the different animals....in summary a great guide who exceeded our expectations

Safari-Masai Mara-Amboseli-Nakuru
Everything was great. From the communication with the tour operator which tailored our needs to what is available, to communication with the driver during the trip, everything amazing. There are a lot of tour operators, but this one in our opinion is the best.
We were able to see all the animals, they stopped in every place we wanted, and there was no rush. We did Amboseli-Nakuru-Masai Mara in a safari jeep. It is worth the upgrade.
So, easily 5 stars. Even the price was below from what other tour operators were offering!

A Kenya Safari that Made My Dream Come True
From the get-go Chris has been the most professional and personable agent I have ever communicated with. Besides giving a complete quote based on our exact request, he also made suggestions on what needs to be added/removed to meet/exceed our expectations. His patience is beyond any other agents I dealt with. I had a delayed flight which ultimately caused a no-show for my first night hotel stay, but Chris managed to use those credits for my other expenses at the hotel. I truly appreciate that high level of service and consideration. Their offered price is also very competitive as compared to other companies.
Our driver Joseph is equally great! We saw everything that we wanted to see, including the wildebeests crossing the Mara River, with his timing skills and a little bit of luck! He even knows how to say the animal names in our own language. Joseph is so knowledgeable about safari animals and Kenya overall, we had fund and educational conversation through the whole trip. He basically satisfied all our requests by stopping anywhere we would like to take photos or breaks. He was even kind enough to buy us fresh fruits in the street, which tasted super fresh.
I would highly recommend Sunup Adventures. My dream of flying hot air balloon over Masai Mara has finally come true!

Trip of a lifetime!
I did lots of research prior to picking a tour agency for our safari trip, I did speak to two other agencies but in the end I’m so glad that we picked Sun Up! Chris was great from the beginning, giving me all the information I needed and answering all of my questions (I had lots)! When I suggested places to stay he was happy to offer his opinion and make what we wanted work in the 8 days, even though we left booking until quite late to go in the peak period!
Chris came to meet us at our Nairobi hotel with our driver Paul and from day one Paul was amazing, yes we were adventurous picking to visit Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu and Ol Pejeta, but we’re so glad we did! I never could have believed we’d have such an amazing time and see such a wide variety of animals. From day one we’d seen 4/5 of the big 5, and we were lucky enough to see two separate wild dog packs. Paul had true respect for the wildlife and was able to teach us so much about the beautiful wildlife Kenya is blessed with. I'd question some of the other drivers and companies that I saw intruding on the animal's space, and for me, it was so important to have someone that cared, after all without the wildlife many people wouldn't have a job, so it is there to be respected and preserved! We gave up waiting patiently from afar for a Wildebeest crossing when hoards of cars turned up to block the way to river!
The driving never seemed too long, and Paul stopped off at all of the viewpoints on the way. I’m glad we moved around as staying in one accommodation could have got a bit repetitive in terms of food and scenery. Ol Pejeta house had amazing food, and although I was sad I’d missed out on availability at Sweetwaters I’m so glad Chris convinced us to stay here, a welcome change from the tented accommodation. My advice would be to pick a tented option as well as something more plush to get the full experience.
This really was a trip of a lifetime for my Mum and I - animal watching, a Masai village visit, picnics in the bush, bush walks and the hospitality of everyone we met, we had the most amazing trip and it wouldn’t have been the same without our driver Paul, thanks to Chris for arranging such a great trip and a great driver - turned friend.
If you’re thinking about booking with Sun up, just do it, you won’t regret it one bit. We will definitely visit again!

Perfect Safari Experience
SunUp did an excellent job in organising our Safari. Quick to response on Emails, all appointments were met on time and the tour was planned well. We stayed at a wonderful lodge and our guide was not only a good driver but also excellent in spotting animals, which means we were able to see every kind of animal there is to see in the Maasai Mara.

SunUp is Fantastic!
I did weeks of research prior to choosing a tour company for our safaris in Kenya, and I am SO glad I chose SunUp! From my first communications to inquire about booking, to making payments, to the safaris, the SunUp employees and the entire experience could not have been better. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and knowledgeable, and they went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful trip. Our guide, Jack, who has been a guide for 16 years, had an answer to every question we asked, and we asked A LOT. He knew all the best places to take us to see animals, geological formations, and amazing views. He also seemed to know all of the other guides, rangers, and camp staff, which meant we were always greeted with a smile and Karibu wherever we went. The lodges/camps that SunUp works with were also wonderful. All of our lodgings were beautiful and provided quality food and restful nights after our safari drives.
I would recommend SunUp to family and friends without hesitation! Asante sana to Jack, Chris, and the rest of the SunUp team!

Chris was always very helpfull, he always gave a quick respond at our questions, very friendly.
Robin was our private chauffeur, he was very friendly, an excellent driver ( it was at some places really slippery because of the rains, we had the 4x4 bus and it got us everywhere in staid of some landrovers who got stuck). Thanks to Robin we saw the whole big 5 and it was amazing with all the wildebeasts! We stayed at the Ashnill Mara luxery tented camp snd it was exellent, nice staff, good food and the tents were luxery. It was really amazing, thank you Sunup for giving us that experience. We can really recommend Sunup!
