Best experience ever!
5/5

From the beginning, I noticed that communication with Mohamed was very easy and he made everything was possible to fulfill our requests and adapted the tour to meet our needs. That was the reason I decided for Travel Africa. The safari was amazing. Our guide Lucas was a very friendly guy and the group got along very well. We saw all the big five in the first 3 days! So lucky! I think what makes Travel Africa unique is the personal treatment they work with. Mohamed was not a tour operator, he was more of a host who made us feel at home. He even helped us with a stressful situation we passed through with our flight to Tanzania. I strongly recommend Travel Africa when thinking of going to a safari there. We also spent 2 days in Arusha and the agency arranged interesting tours for us, one in the city and another one to Materuni Falls (where we had a remarkable experience with Chagga people) and Hot Springs. All the guides were very friendly and helpful. Great experience we will never forget!

A satisfying experience worthy of the stress.
5/5

I have previously been to many parks in South Africa, especially the Kruger Park, and the Akagera Park in Rwanda, however the trip to the Serengeti was a world class experience worthy of the three days of my sleeping in the camp tent with little or no comfort.

In all my trips to the reserves, I have not been lucky to see as many animals as I did in the Serengeti plain especially with the so called 'Big Five'. In one game drive of about two hours, I witnessed four of the Big Five (the Leopard, elephant, the buffalo and the lions), and most importantly for any game watch, I caught the lions in real actions of mating and stalking a prey in an ambush - that was an experience.

Communications within the parks was very good as most of the areas in the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater were covered by the network, and many stop points, and viewing points have Wifi installed. This made the safari interesting as one could still communicate with the other world.

I missed the popular migration because of visa delays (as visa on arrival was no longer available for Nigerians). I hope to make the trip in June, 2020 to experience the migration.

The most flexible itinerary. Reasonable prices. Friendly, patient, attentive, understanding, supportive, knowledgeable team. Experts in safari tours. Comfortable and clean lodgings. Provides the best experience in safari tours. Staff is very helpful when looking for souvenirs that gives you the value for money.

Really great
4/5

My boyfriend and I planned this trip really fast. It was very easy to contact the organisating manager of the safaris. We saw the big five, inclusing 3 rhinos. Our guide, Freddy, was really good: he gave the correct information and spoke very clear english. The food was good. The cook Dennis did a great job. We were in good company. We really liked it!!

Highly professional operation and good value-for-money
5/5

I would highly recommend booking with Travel Africa Safari Agency. Mohamed provided excellent and very professional service. He was very responsive both during the booking process as well as while I was in Arusha. The driver Andrew was also punctual, friendly, and a great driver.

Furthermore, the tour is very good value-for-money, as Mohamed includes a free, round-trip airport transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha town (normally $100 round trip if you went with a taxi) as well as accommodation before and after the tour. This was a standout offering compared to the other tour operators that we had contacted, and was the main reason we chose to go with Travel Africa Safari Agency.

The only downside is that the free accommodation provided at Arusha Tourist Inn was a bit disappointing, with cold water, unfriendly service, and everything a bit poorly maintained. This is not directly within the control of Travel Africa Safari Agency as they do not operate the lodge, but does somewhat limit the value of the free accommodation that is offered before and after the tour.

Overall would nevertheless still highly recommend Travel Africa Safari Agency both for the excellent and professional service as well as the superb value for money.

The best travel Safari Agency
5/5

Our trip really started in August since we had to take the best Safari. We search and search until I read opinions of this agency. The communication with Mohamed was simply great, he explained everything very clearly before we contract it. Once we were there, we were treated exquisitely, they picked us up at the airport and took us to the hotel. Our guide and driver Simba was incredibly kind during the five days of the safari, he was very attentive to all our needs. without a doubt we would repeat.

A good choice
5/5

I did the five day safari and I can say that it was one of the best travel experiences of my life.

From my understanding all the tour companies hire independent contractors and they all take you to the same camp grounds or choices of hotels.

The advantage of this group is that they provide transportation from the airport and an extra night of hotel for the same price others charge.

I was a single traveler and my tour was cancelled. Mohammed did right and got me on a tour with some Brazilians, then a big mixture of people for three days and then two French people for my last day. He was very available late in the evening.

He asks you to pay a little up front on a weird African PayPal site. He had a driver waiting for me at the airport. The lunches were OK.

So much of what you will see is luck. I saw a Cheetah chase a gazel, three lions attack a hyena, and two pairs of lions having sex. These parks are awesome and they are some of the best places in the world to see animals. This company tries and took care of me.

This was an incredible experience that I'd love to do again!
5/5

This safari was incredible and we had the perfect driver. He was highly knowledgeable, very responsive to spontaneous requests to stop, and had sharp eyes that spotted everything. Plus, even though I was solo, the other people in my group were great!

The company as a whole really went above and beyond. They picked me up all the way over in Moshi and then dropped me at the airport after we were done. The lodging was good and the food much better than what I had elsewhere.

Then, just to illustrate just how helpful they were, I managed to make the horrible mistake of forgetting my camera in the hotel when I checked out. I didn't come to this realization until I was in Zanzibar (It was under the pillow in my room because I didn't want to leave it out in the open while walking around)

Anyway, I called Mohamed and he went right to the hotel to find my camera. He then arranged for it to be flown to the Zanzibar airport where I was able to pick it up. He was an absolute lifesaver!!!!

A+++

The only thing I'd change if I did it again would be to skip Lake Manyara. It was the wrong season when I went so the flamingos were like 2 miles away due to the low dry season water levels. Just be sure to check the time of year!
