The whole experience was amazing and Red Africa Safaris did everything to make it so.
5/5

The communication with the lead person was spot on, detailed with everything that would happen. It all went so smoothly, it made the planning easy. Excellent service from the time we were picked up, to the time we were returned to the airport. Everything in between was over and above what we were expecting. The safaris itself was so unbelievable, an experience of a life time.

Great experience with an excellent guide!
5/5

I can only recommend this tour operator. Very kind communication in advance with Amelia, who replied quickly on all requests and provided us with all necessary information in advance. The tour itself was great and our tour guide Jaco was perfect: very kind, very experienced and sharing with us his huge knowledge on South Africa and all animals. He really loves his job. It was very interesting and we were all the time very happy to have booked this tour with Red Africa Safaris. We did not have to care about anything, Jaco took very well care of everything. And he's an excellent cook by the way :-).
Thank you so much again for this amazing trip! We learned so many things about the animals and the birds and we much appreciated all the information, we got during this tour. Looking already forward to finding another trip to book with Red Africa Safaris. Thanks again!

Spectacular experience
5/5

We had the most fabulous time Jaco collected us from J’burg and took us to the Skukuza camp, giving us information on the way about the areas and then what we would be doing. There were 8 of us and we had a private full day tour which was spectacular see all the big five in the morning and again in the afternoon, our guide Trevor found a dead impala in a tree and kept returning to see if the leopard that left it their came back. It did and was the highlight of the day, we have some fabulous photos to remember our time and would certainly recommend Red Africa Safari’s. We would all love to return tomorrow.
Only negative was accommodation was a little tired but after a long and exciting day somewhere to sleep was all that was needed.

Excellent safari with superb guides.
5/5

Right from the pick up the service and experience lived up to all expectations. Jaco provides a brilliant drive up with commentary and interesting information. Trevor our guide for the drives in the park was also amazing getting us as close as he could to all the animals. The accommodation at skukuza was basic but the beds were comfy and the food good.

An unforgettable experience !!
5/5

For anyone considering a tour whilst in South Africa look no further than Red Africa Safaris. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with my dealings with this operator through correspondence prior to, and after booking our trip (private tour for 2 people). Amelia was very prompt and informative answering any questions i had, provided more than required information about our tour and was very interactive selecting our tours criteria to suit our individual wants/needs.
We requested Jaco as our tour guide as we’ve read great things about him, and he far exceeded any expectations we had of him. Jaco was amazing in every sense. Willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had the best tour experience possible at all times. Jaco’s level of expertise, professionalism and passion for conservation was incredible, and made us feel very comfortable and at ease with the tour...
I also believe this company provides great value for money and can uniquely package tours to suit all varieties. Thank you Red Africa Safari for one of the greatest experiences of my life !!

Amazing & Unique Experience with Red Africa Safaris
5/5

The best operator in South Africa for me. They helped me plan the panorama route, safari and some of my cape town activities. We didn't have to do anything. Just sit and go. The service and professionalism of staff are outstanding. From the lady who planned our trip to tour guides, all were amazing. If you need a tailored, unique and private experience, this company is the best. And the value for money is incredible as well.

Highly recommend! I looked up at least 10 companies before choosing them. And I'm happy I chose the best in Red Africa Safaris!

Amazing Desert-to-Delta Experience - Namibia, Botswana & Victoria Falls
5/5

My husband and I booked this trip-of-a-lifetime with Red Africa Safaris for mainly two reasons: Amelia (the organizer) and Jaco (the tour guide).
The year before, in 2018, we had come across Red Africa Safaris online, and decided to go on a relatively short Panorama Route & Kruger National Park trip with them as they had been very accommodating and quick in responding. The entire experience turned out to be fantastic, from the first e-mail communication with Amelia to the actual trip with the best field guide you can imagine, Jaco. This is why we decided to travel to Africa again this year, and to make this an even more memorable trip.
We were greeted and picked up at the airport in Windhoek on our first day by Jaco, and visited the following breathtaking places in the subsequent days: Sesriem Canyon, Sossusvlei & Deadvlei, Dune 7, Swakopmund, Walvisbaai, Sandwich Harbour, and Etosha National Park. Afterwards, we crossed the boarder into Botswana, spent two days in the Okavango Delta and then in the Chobe area, and visited the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. To go on that trip was one of the best decisions, the perfect combination of beautiful nature and landscapes on the one side, and fantastic animal sightings on the other side. We explored by car, by boat, and by plane, we hiked up dunes to get the most amazing view of our surroundings, enjoyed breakfast in the desert with oryx observing us from a distance, and we flew above hundreds of flamingos along Skeleton Coast.
Thank you, Red Africa Safaris, for tailoring this trip to our needs, for always - again - accommodating our many requests, for taking the time to plan and organize this tour from A to Z, for thinking of the many little details that make the big difference, and for ensuring the trip would be as relaxing and as smooth as possible.
Daer Amelia and dear Jaco, you did a great job, and we will be forever grateful for these two memorable weeks!
We HIGHLY recommend Red Africa Safaris - if you are looking for the best possible Africa experience with the most diligent trip planning and the most knowledgeable and fun field guide there is, then don't look any further :).

When people make the differevce
5/5

For some time constraints me and my friends chose a 4-day tour that brought us also to visit the Blyde river canyon. The choice fell on this proposal from Red Africa Safaris becasue they seemed to have put together a very interesting itinerary with some expereicens, like the cruise on the dam I had not seen anywhere alse on Safari Bookings. As we were a little pressed for time I had to request to slightly tailor the tour to our needs and Amelia was super helpful and patient answering my thousand of quetions, offering advice and putting up with our changes of mind. Booking and paying process through their website was very easy.
We could not start as early as their usual turs on the first day, so had to skip the lunch stop but a lunch box was arranged and waiting for us in the car. This was greatly appreciated.
Our driver/guide, Jaco was super, he knew million of things about animals and nature in general, we definitely learned more from him than anyone else. He was also very good at introducing us to South Africa in general answering any question we had. He was also able to suggest the best way to enjoy a place and point out the really unmissable things. He was very thoughtful and made sure we had no problems and all was nice and easy for us. And his cooking was not bad at all! I really enjoyed his bbq dinners.
Accommodations arranged for us were beautiful and comfortale even if we did not go for anything in the luxury category. I really appreciated that they work with a place such as Moholohoolo Ya matit hat is working for conservation.
The itinerary was great even if I was not exactly impressed by Bryce River canyon, notable exception Burke's Luck Potholes; that place is just beautiful. Getting to see the canyon from below during a boat trip on the dam was great and added another dimension to the experience and you get to see hippos wich is a great plus. We spent 2 nights in Kruger, did an evening bush walk, 2 morning drives and an evening one and were extremely lucky, managed to see all of the big 5 plus dozens of other animals including some birds of the most astonishing colours.

The whole safari was very well planned and we were extremely happy the service of Red Africa Safari and feel very lucky to have had Jaco with us, he was a big part on the success of out trip ( give the guy a pay rise!!!)

Fantastic 5 Day Safari Tour and our Guide Jaco really is an asset to this company!
5/5

We did the 5 Day safari and panoramic tour in Kruger Park and it was absolutely amazing.
Our Guide Jaco is super knowledgeable, interesting, helpful and passionate about the wildlife.
We learned so much from him, and never had a dull moment.
I would highly recommend Red Africa Safaris to anyone, and we are hoping to go back again on another tour in Botswana and Zimbabwe at some point in the future.
