Amazing trip seeing multiple parts of Kenya!
5/5

I completed the 7 Day Great Southern Savannah Economical Safari Private Tour with Mufasa Tours along with my cousin and had an amazing time seeing multiple parks in different parts of Kenya. The tour took us through Amboseli, the Great Rift Valley, Lake Naveisha, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara. Our driver, Tony, was awesome, as he was very accommodating throughout the long drives throughout the country and very knowledgeable of where different animals were while driving through the parks. His driving skills in getting us around the Mara also allowed us to explore multiple places where there were little to no other jeeps in sight. He also made sure to take care of us on our last day to get us back to Nairobi in good time, allowing us to enjoy a few sights in the city before getting to the airport for our departure. If you want to see as much of Kenya as possible in a short time-frame that isn’t too overwhelming, this seems to be the perfect tour to do. Thanks for an amazing experience Tony and Mufasa Tours!

Excellent safari experience
5/5

We had a great experience with Mufasa Tours. Had change of plans a few times because of covid but Mufasa tours were very patient with us and followed up and answered all questions I had. At the end i end up traveling alone with 2 children and everything was safe and the trip was amazing! The children keep asking to go back. We had great hotel , saw all the animals possible - we had 5 days safari - Lake Naivasha , Amboseli national park and Masai Mara… definitely recommend this tour company - very friendly , helpful and good value.

Extremely friendly and generally concerned about you having a great Safari!
5/5

Africa is special no matter which tour company you go with but I will say that Mufasa Tours and Travels was generally concerned that we were happy. They were extremely quick with responses and always went above and beyond what was expected.

On a side note, our guide was one of the most positive, friendly guides out on safari. He waved at everyone! He smiled and talked to everyone. He was quick to help other guides and tour companies out (we did have to pull another truck out of the mud). This says a lot about our guide but it also says a lot about Mufasa Tours and Travel. Trust me, we ran into plenty of unhappy guides out there. Not ours! It made everything just, better! My hats off to Mufasa Tours for hiring so well.

Also, Mufasa Tours offered great advise when asked and also offered options when they felt it was needed. My wife and I had an amazing time and would recommend Mufasa Tours and Travel to anyone.

Well done Mufasa Tours!

Moses was an outstanding, knowledgeable, and thoughtful tour guide and driver!
5/5

A safari tour in Kenya is a once in a lifetime moment, where one can connect with nature, people, and culture. Choosing the best tour company is vital to a wonderful adventure filled with magical moments ans experiences. After detailed Google searches and reviewing hundreds of tour companies online, we decided to choose Mufasa Tours and Travel for the 6 day Safari tour based on its high ratings and reviews!!! The tour covered Amboseli National Park, Nakuru National Park, and Maasai Mara National Park, each with its own magical experience.

Moses, our Mufasa tour guide and driver, navigated the roads of Kenya with skill and precision, while keeping us safe at all times. As we explored the three different National Parks he explained in detail the different animals ranging from elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, lions, and more! His knowledge was of the animals and landscape was quite impressive! We felt like we were on a tour with a National Geographic guide whose expertise were animals, plants, and birds. Moses also brought his own professional camera and took amazing photos and shared them with us. His photography skills helped capture the true essence of nature in its purest form. In addition, he knew where to seek and locate all of the top five animals: elephant, rhino, lion, water hog, and leopard. Moses made our Safari tour an experience to remember!!!!

Overall, I would highly recommend Mufasa Travel and Tours to be your guide and friend when you are here in Kenya. Five Stars and a shout out to Moses as an amazing tour guide!

The best price for an outstanding and fabulous experience!!

Amazing
5/5

The tour was amazing !!! I was looking for many companies and the only one who responded quickly was Mufasa, Joseph from the first moment helped me in everything to organize my trip. I was traveling alone so what I was looking for was a company that provides me with security and they gave it to me 100%, I felt very comfortable at all times. I had two guides in Spanish Sam in Kenya and Ally in Tanzania, they really are two people who know too much and I learned a lot with them. The company fulfilled everything it offered and even more, I am really very happy to have chosen them. I definitely recommend Mufasa

Fantastic
5/5

Joseph responded really quickly to my enquiry, which was last minute but he arranged my 2 day safari to Tsavo East really promptly. Mahmud my guide was super knowledgeable and friendly, and we saw lots of amazing animals. The hotel that Mufasa Tours had booked for me was incredible - basic room but the view and watering hole nearby was just unreal. Thanks so much - would 100% recommend!

Everything is possible with Mufasa T&T
5/5

We visited Kenya during very challenging times, when the second COVID 19 pandemic wave was at the peak. There were numerous restrictions, lockdown, and curfew in place. It was a very challenging time, but Mufasa Tours and Travels made it safe and easy!

We arrived in Kenya on 27 March 2021. Just a day prior our arrival, Kenyan president Kenyatta announced new restrictive measures and lockdown. The restrictions included lockdown and a ban on all nonessential movement between Kenyan regions (counties). Upon our arrival, we were confused and worried. The first thing what needed to be done was the revision of all our plans. So one of the first things that we did in Nairobi was the visit to Mufasa Tours and Travel's downtown office. We had exchanged several emails prior our arrival and they seemed to be highly professional. We wanted to find out if even there was a possibility of any real safari. Thanks to the great effort of Joseph and the rest of Mufasa team (that we highly appreciate and we will not forget), we managed to have our safari, regardless how unrealistically it seems at the times. As roads were closed, in few hours Joseph manage to find for us seats on tomorrow morning flight to Maasai Mara. We spent three beautiful days in Maasai Mara with local Maasai guide Benson. Benson was great, very professional with passion for his work. The Maasai Mara safari was something special. The experience of driving in Toyota land cruiser through all that mud and finding all that animals, it was one of the best adventures in our lives. A lot of adrenaline, we are thankful for such special experience. Special thanks to Benson for all memorable pictures (lioness feeding babies, cheetahs hunting, giraffes selfies, big lion posing only for us, sunset with elephants, Maasai village, etc.).

After three days, with the last flight from Maasai Mara, we manage to arrive in Nairobi just in time to meet with Joseph and our new guide / driver Ibrahim. Ibrahim took us to Lake Nivasha, we spent the night in a beautiful lodge at lake with hippos, and the next day we went to Amboseli. In Amboseli, Ibrahim made sure that we enjoy every minute of three-day visit. He is local Maasai from Amboseli and during one of our drives, we had the opportunity to meet his daughter and son. All the time, we felt safe and comfortable, every safari was enjoyable. We will never forget the sunrise from the balloon with white Kibo in the background.

Our initial plan was to go to Diani Beach after we finish with safari, unfortunately due to government restrictions it was impossible to go via train or plane. So we decided to ask Joseph once more for support, and once more Mufasa team proved to be safe and reliable. For an affordable price, Ibrahim took us with land cruiser to our hotel at Diani Beach. It was an excellent experience, driving through the western part of Kenya parallel to the Tanzania border. It is not a place that tourist visit often, basically it was one more safari. Worth to mention that land cruiser was always well equipped with water and we had all the time free Wi-Fi. Big thanks to Ibrahim for excellent driving, it took us around eight hours, but it was unique and worth experience.

On our way back, with still restrictions and curfew in place, of course that we contacted Joseph to get us back to Nairobi. This time with minivan by highway. Our next driver was Odhis, not less professional and reliable than Benson or Ibrahim.

Big thanks to Musafa Tours and Travels team for all organising and making possible our safari, despite impossible conditions. Big thanks to our guides / drivers for all smiles, friendliness, and answers to all our questions and requests. Thanks for making our vacation great despite so challenging conditions. Thank you for being our friends at any time, it was filling great to be in safe hands all the time. It's good to know that we have friends in Kenya.

One more big thanks to Joseph, Benson, Ibrahim, Odhis and the rest of Mufasa team.

Until the next safari, all the best from Croatia,

Ivona & Josip

Wonderful safari experience, best experience in most reasonable price
5/5

Had an great safari experience, Joseph was very responsive in managing the travel plans and accomodoting the requests. The rate was very reasonable compared to other agents. Daniel (guide and driver) was very friendly and experienced to spot animals. Bike ride to Hells gate national park was the best part that I enjoyed where the animal could be spotted on the sideways while riding bike.

Great Safari with Mahmud and the animals of the savannah
5/5

We enjoyed our 2-days-1-night safari at Tsavo East and had a pleasant stay at Ashnil Aruba Lodge, which Mufasa Tours & Travels had chosen for us. Mufasa picked us up at the hotel with some delay, drove us to the train station, had booked the train ticket for us and when we arrived in Voi we were picked up at the train station by Mahmud and driven to Tsavo East National Park. Mahmud is a very good guide who knows exactly where to find the animals and who spots them even when they are hiding very well.

We can only recommend Mufasa and will definitely choose them again the next time we come to Kenya.

Pro tip: If they offer you a lunch break after the safari at a touristy restaurant close to the park, better try to skip it. Lunch is free and okay but but the people of the souvenir store next door will not let up until you have bought something there.
