Magical Experience
We initially booked our trip in 2019 for late 2020, and due to Covid, we obviously couldn't then make that trip.
Reagan contacted us as the world prepared to go into lockdown, and we rescheduled for late 2021, with Reagan rescheduling our gorilla tracking permits.
We went on the 12 days gorillas and wildlife safaris, driving from Entebbe to Murchison Falls, then down the country, both tracking chimps & gorillas, going on multiple game drives, river cruises and community walks. Our driver Amos was excellent at spotting animals in the parks, extremely knowledgable, informative, and really efficient with time keeping and making sure we were clear what we were doing, where we were going, and comfortable both with our activities, and in general throughout the trip.
We were very lucky in that we saw almost every animal there is to see in uganda, and the gorilla and chimp experiences were mind blowing.
All in all, I would recommend this tour, and Uganda in general, to anybody that wants to come to Africa and have a magical experience.

Amazing 14 Day Uganda Adventure
What an amazing tour Dav Safaris provided! I traveled with my friend, both of us being two middle-aged women, for a 14-day trip around Uganda. The main focus for our trip to Uganda was experiencing the mountain gorillas, but it ended up being so much more. To say that it was a trip of a lifetime is an understatement.
There are many companies to choose from when traveling to Uganda, but now having experienced the trip and being able to witness many tour companies along the way the reasons I would highly recommend Dav Safari is their communication, organization, and passion.
I look through my pictures of the trip almost every day. We were able to have an amazing gorilla trek, seeing the Silver Back as well as several baby and juvenile gorillas. We saw 7 leopards, including one eating his kill in a tree. We saw elephants playing, giraffes running, hippos sparring, monkeys stealing bananas, Chimpanzees, Rhinos. Amazing Solo Trip with Dav Safaris!
Reagan helped in organizing a highlights tour of Uganda, from Kampala to Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest (Chimpanzee tracking), Biwindi Forest (Gorilla Trekking), Mount Muhavura, Lake Bunyonyi.
Everything went perfect & on schedule, they even helped me after I had lost my luggage in an international flight transfer.
The tour gave me a great overview of Uganda, a beautiful, diverse and most welcoming country where you could spend weeks visiting and getting to know its culture.
Special thanks to my guide Patrick who’s been amazing, he knows his country upside down and was giving all of the great tips I could have wished for.

This 2-day tour is an absolute must.
The experience is simply priceless! From Kigali, you will drive about 2 hours to Musanze where you will spend the night. Once you settle in your hotel in Musanze (including in the tour) you can have a walk and enjoy the views over the volcanoes which are the natural border between Rwanda, Uganda and DRC. Early morning the day after, you will drive about 15 minutes to the Volcanoes National Park where you will have hot/cold beverages available while you have your short safety briefing with other people coming for the tour. Then you have a short drive to the starting point and off you go for your trek that should be around 2h with a few stops to take stunning pictures of the views. Once you arrive in the park, the guide will liaise with rangers who will tell them where the gorillas are so you can find them easily. Finally, the unique moment has arrived! You will spend 1h watching gorillas from a few feet away in their natural habitat! Simply mesmerizing! I can only recommend this tour!
Augustin, the guide who picked me up was amazing! Friendly and full of knowledge, he made me discover Kigali before taking the road to Musanze and stopped to allow me to take some amazing pictures. Easily reachable via phone/whatsapp and quick to respond, the whole experience was as smooth as possible!

PERFECT HONEYMOON EXPERIENCE
We had a adorable honeymoon because of the extremely good company of Dav Safaris!! The email conversation with Reagan became improbable earlier than we had our tour. Answered all our questions. David (our guide) made our tour excellent!! He did the whole thing in order that we may want to revel in our honeymoon. Gorillas and Golden monkeys experience
I did a three-day Safari to Mgahinga National Park for Gorilla and Golden Monkey Trekking. It become an outstanding adventure. The lodge was lake mulehe safari lodge which gave us a super experience. My guide Patrick made it possible through his experience. The treks were a success and gave me a truly unique experience that I won’t soon forget.
