It’s my second time doing safari in Africa.
I paid quite a lot for a private tour this time as the designated dates and duration of group tour are quite hard to match my own schedule. But I feel a bit disappointed as I didn’t get better service than last time. I feel safe to be with my guide. But he definitely needs rooms of improvement for photo taking skills a ... Also my guide always asked me to help him take photos in my phone and then send him back. I think it’s an inappropriate action. It’s like a few times per day but not one or two times. I sometimes feel a bit annoyed about it as I’m not supposed to be his photographer. I’m the one who paid!

Our guide luke, who is a perfect guide, he is nice, helpful, patient and funny. He can cater for all our needs during our trip. I recently traveled to Windhoek, Namibia for business from the western USA, and since I was traveling all that way, I added a week so I could see a the desert, coast and Etosha. People Tours and Safari had an itinerary and a price point I liked for a mid-range tour, and could accommodate my schedule, pick me up at my hotel and drop me at the airport for my flight. The accommodations ranged from standard safari lodge places to a charming bed and breakfast on the coast to an up-scale place just outside of Etosha, to a concession inside of Etosha. The driver/guide (Timo) was at all times gracious, friendly and interesting to talk to, and looked after me well from start to finish. We hiked to Deadvlei, rode ATVs on the dunes, ate at great restaurants, visited a Himba village, and experienced the desert, dunes, coast, Etosha Pan and everything in between. With just me as the client, I could indulge in my love of birdwatching and photography without inconveniencing anyone. I would definitely go with Peoples again!
