21 days amazing Uganda nature and culture experience
After a first experience of my parents-in-law travelling through Uganda with PearlAfric back in 2013, we decided in 2021 to get in touch again with PearlAfric for organizing a tour we wanted to do in 2022 with the whole family (11 people, 3 families). As from the start the communication with Innocent from PearlAfric was very open, friendly and professionally. The whole process of deciding on the exact tour, taking into account our wishes, leaving flexibility when needed (eg. to visit a local project we have been supporting for many years) and overcoming some hurdles (like getting the youngest of 12 approved for the gorilla trekking) was very constructive, very efficient and very well managed.
With a good peace of mind we took our plane on the 22nd of July 2022 to Uganda. From our arrival at Entebbe, until flying back home, every single thing was perfectly organized and we were the whole time in the very capable hands of our experienced drivers/guides Tony (Hannington) and Abdul. We have had so many interesting, amazing, touching and inspiring experiences, meeting the local cultures throughout Uganda, visiting the national parks discovering so many wonderful animals (benefiting from the expert eyes and knowledge of our guides), enjoying the beautiful lodges and enjoying the lovely and super friendly people of Uganda.
Just before our last week of the 3 weeks, Abdul suddenly had to leave for personal reasons and PearlAfric managed a swift replacement of Abdul (giving him the time needed) by Prim, another excellent driver/guide. This is just another proof of the quality of the team of PearlAfric, and the heart of PearlAfric for its team. Special thanks also to Tony for his care, his problemsolving skills and his professionalism.
We always prefer, when travelling through countries in other continents, to work with local travel companies, because they know their own countries the best, we ensure that what we pay is 100% benefiting the local country and you can get very good value for money. PearlAfric is an excellent proof that this approach is a very good choice.

Efficient and knowledgeable- a wonderful trip!
I had a wonderful trip in Rwanda and Uganda. PearlAfric were responsive to all of my questions and incredibly helpful. During the tour my guide Hannington was wonderful. I learnt a huge amount from him including about all the animals and birds I encountered. I could not have asked for a better guide as it really made my trip. I can't wait to return and see more of beautiful Uganda.

A wonderful trip to remember for a lifetime
Our four day trip to Bwindi impenetrable forest and lake Mburo was simply wonderful. Hannington is an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable, has a lot of experience and managed our trip extremely well. We are very happy with the way all was arranged. The Mountain gorilla's are of course very impressive. Bird watching on lake Mburo was perfect, all in all I would recomend this trip and Pearl Afric Tours & Travels very much!

Reliable, very reactive and flexible
We had a four days safari trip with Pearl Afric, before the departure the communication with William was very good. William managed to build a programme compatible with our budget. The trip to Bwindi was incredible all the places in which we stayed were special with beautiful view. Our driver took care of us and took our expectations into account carefully. We always felt safe.

Very well organized and professional, and made the trip very easy for us
We did a five day trip to Bwindi to see the gorillas, and to Lake Mburo park, staying two nights at Lake Mulehe gorilla lodge and two days at Kigambira Safari lodge. The trip was amazing, our guide Prim was great, very helpful and taught us so much about Uganda and the language. Everything was straightforward, well explained, and happened on schedule. The Safari van we took was in great shape and with good suspension for some of the bumpy roads. Both lodges were great, very friendly and with delicious food. We had plenty of activities to do and saw lots of animals but still had some time to relax in between. Great balance.
Fabulous staff, planning, activities, accommodations and food
Trip of a lifetime with our knowledgeable guide Prim. He was also a GREAT driver as he negotiated heavy traffic and the bumpiest of dirt roads.
Great itinerary and execution of the plan.
Loved seeing the Gorillas and had a fab time on safari. Loved the popped roof on the 4wd van for safari sightseeing.

A great tour
Great communication , a great tour, took care of all of my needs. Abdul, my driver was beyond amazing. He was meticulous and went above and beyond to perfect my experience. Uganda is the best place I have ever visited.

I had a very beautiful tour of 15 days visiting several wild parks with beautiful lodges
Everything was well organised. I had a splendid driver and guide, Sam Wako. He had a lot lot of knowledge about the animals, plants and the history of Uganda and the several communities. He was flexibel and arranged the programm very wellicht. Compliments to Sam!!

Fantastic and knowledgeable crew
We organised a 3 day safari tour with Pearl Afric. What an experience we had...they definitely took us to the best spots to catch the animals we had on our bucket list and knew their way round the terrain etc. We had a great time with Ivan and David and will for sure book again with them. The safari experience was value for money and the team were very reliable.
