Amazing trip to Botswana by Ubon Safari
I contacted Ubon Safari with many other safari operators in order to arrange for my group trip to Botswana. I ended up choosing Ubon Safari because they showed accurate and significant knowledge, professionalism, quick response and the most important factor was, they meet my budget (with slightly difference that I could digest).
They were super friendly & informative on the communication perspective, I can assure that they have the strongest communication skills. And were approachable whenever I needed to contact them.
Ubon Safari provided me with various trip plans/packages to choose from, that cover most of the points of interests I had mentioned regarding Botswana. Phone call meeting after another and Ubon safari got to know me and what I liked and disliked, and made it easy with their expertise to put together an itinerary of this safari trip.
The lodges and guides that have been recommended and chosen by Ubon Safari were the the highlight of the trip. At each place we stayed in the staff knew who we were and the details of our travel plans, so that everything worked smoothly. The services we had were excellent and beyond our expectations. Staff, and guides were professional and we felt well looked after by both Ubon Safari and local staff. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable.
We had a last minute situation that canceled an important day trip due to weather conditions. Ubon Safari was familiar with such situations and overcome the situation with a great alternative plan that fit in the itinerary quickly and fulfilled the gap that popped up because of the cancellation.
Another tragedy we had for one of the group trip members. Umang & Beena from Ubon Safari spent a very respectful effort to make this unexpected health issue as convenient as possible and scheduled the related changes accordingly. The changes they made covered the itinerary under the contract with them and beyond that contract, they kept and still keep checking on us after we are back to busy life at our home country.
Thank you so much to Umang and Beena for looking after us and giving us such a amazing experience and overseeing all the day-to-day itinerary. And for helping me to do an amazing trip.

UBON SAFARI - one word amazing!
They put together this amazing trip for us to celebrate my dad’s big birthday in Tanzania & Zanzibar (where he was born). The whole trip was very special for us all.
The guides were fantastic they went above and beyond to ensure our trip was special - treated us like royalty. Ally was amazing - he ensured was saw the big 5 and more! Ahmed and Mtoo in Zanzibar also just amazing too had a great tour of stone town and the spice tour.
The staff at all the hotel were like family they knew who we were without even introduction - they ensured we had the best stay and food!!
Umang was available throughout the whole trip - you would never get this with a normal travel agent. Beena and Umang are just the perfect team and their passion for Africa can be seen in the amazing itinerary’s they put together for their clients. All the surprises you had for my parents were just so lovely - they absolutely loved being spoilt!
I reccomend UBON safari for all trips to Africa - they have all the knowledge and passion for Africa I look forward to booking all future tours with them (I would not book with anyone else!)

Moses is the best
Our Leopard Tours guide, Moses, was patient and understood the goals of our trip and made sure we had the next experience. Very kind and very thoughtful. He was also very knowledgeable. No need for Google with Moses. No one thought to bring binoculars but Moses had not one, but two, on hand and he made sure the jeep fridge stayed stocked with cold water. The lodges had incredible views and the Serena staff treated us with the utmost respect and quickly attended to and anticipated our needs. Umang kept in touch during our safari and made sure we were taken care of. Ubon Safari will be the first one I recommend in the future.

Three stops in Botswana
My wife and I booked our week-long safari in Botswana through UBON/Gazelle Safari Company and could not have been more pleased. This was a family vacation and our parents first time in Africa, so we wanted to make sure everything was handled expertly. Umang and Beena were receptive to many of our challenging requests, responded promptly, and organized visits in Chobe, Okavango and Savute Reserves. These three places required significant logistical planning and because of UBON's organization it seemed completely seamless as we transited to each place. We were treated as VIPs everywhere we went and you could tell UBON had visited the properties and had an intricate knowledge of each place they recommended as staff at each location knew Umang and Beena by name. I recommend UBON Safaris without hesitation and will ask them to plan the next safari we go on!

Experience, knowledge, courtesy, and professionalism mixed with attention to detail
My wife, son, and I visited Ruaha National Park in Tanzania in October of 2017 on a three-day safari organized by UBON. In all regards, UBON did an outstanding job in helping us have a memorable experience. Because we were in a remote region of the country before the safari began, UBON arranged transport for us by ground to reach the national park where we stayed at the Ruaha River Lodge for three nights. We found the accommodations outstanding because they consist of individual cottages that reside along the Ruaha River in a spectacularly beautiful setting which affords one to the chance to simply sit on a porch before an enclosed bedroom to watch animals of all kinds visit the river, a mini-safari in itself! We drew tremendous serenity in sitting there quietly to watch elephants, giraffes, and antelopes parade by each morning and evening as storks and birds of all kinds joined the gatherings. As for the daily outings by open vehicle, we found them to be filled with varied sightings of wildlife, serene overlooks of gorgeous savannas, and enormously instructional because of the highly experienced guide and driver who accompanied us. Between outings, we enjoyed delicious meals at the lodge served by very pleasant staff who went out of their way to care for us as guests. When our stay was completed, we boarded an airplane from the airstrip at Ruaha to fly to Mafia Island, a flight arranged by UBON. Most touching to us was that UBON checked on us prior to our arrival at Ruaha and after we departed the park to ensure our journey carried on safely. That attention to detail and care for customers is something I will never forget.

UBON Safari knows a lot about Tanzania, the people, the rhythm and stunning places to visit. And they seem also to know a lot about european families and their wishes, rhythms and ways of travelling.
The communication was always well timed, very friendly and leading us through all sorts of questions we had and expected. After the first e-mail exchange I already trusted UBON / Gazelle Safaris and could focus on looking forward to our trip. The different locations, camps, lodges, the guides who showed us the parks or drove us from one place to the next were all perfectly chosen and fitted exactly our dreams and met more then our expectations.

Our journey started with a simple email enquiry which resulted in an immediate response from yourself. This resulted in a lengthy telephone conversation, which convinced me that you were the one to organise our family trip for us in Tanzania. I had spoken to other operators previously but it was a chance conversation with a mutual friend that led me to you.
The safari is now over, but what a wonderful experience. This trip was the culmination of several exchanges between you and us, fine tuning the trip until it was perfected. Our dealings with you could not have been any smoother nor any more transparent. I am grateful to you for overseeing every aspect of this journey, even before we left. I was very surprised to have you call us when we landed in Arusha, ensuring our safe arrival and pick up with your local operators. I was even more grateful for you to have kept in touch with us throughout our seven days on Safari. We have travelled far and wide and have never had anybody check to see how our trips have been progressing en route!
You were aware that I was a keen photographer and you more than fulfilled your promise that you would provide your preferred travelling companion for us. It is thanks to Moses, your chosen guide and tracker, ( and also a very safe and considerate driver ) that I managed to capture so many amazing photographs of the game in all the parks, especially Serengeti, that we visited. He knew exactly where to go and his anticipation was incredible. We seemed to be more often in the right place at the right time than not, often on our own and then, of course, all the other operators’ jeeps would arrive. Highlights included a lioness preparing for and the executing a hunt on a herd of gazelles, albeit unsuccessfully, the crocodile devouring a baby zebra that had strayed into its water and the leopard feasting on its kill in the tree! You would have seen this from some of the photos and video I have sent you. Many more to follow.
Your choice of lodges was also spot on based on our requirements. The Serena Lodges take a lot of beating for overall service and value. And thank you for organising the surprise cake and celebrations at the Ngorogoro Serena Lodge for my wife’s 50th and my son’s 21st birthdays while we were on safari. This was completely unexpected!
I would like to thank you and Beena for organising this incredible trip. There was not any aspect that could have been organised any better. I will be in touch for our next trip to this amazing continent. In the meantime, keep well.
