Wonderfull...!
4/5

Me and my girlfriend booked a 5days safari to Masai Mara,Lake Nakuru & Lake naivasha,we were traveling on budget so we looked on line for kenya camping safaris and we landed on KARIBU SAFARIS,we were in communication with Odera,he was very quick in responding emails,we had several offers but we decided to book with them because they had other benefits on top of the price we had paid that other operators dint have/changed extra.

Upon arrival at the airport we were picked by edward in a sallon car and taken to the hotel, then odera came to see us at the hotel after we finishes with the safari briefings we were given complimentary safari huts, the next day we were picked by antony the driver guide and were joined other travelers,in masai mara we tsya in lenchada tented camp in lake nakuru we stayed in chester hotel and in Lake naivasha we stayed in Taphe guest house.

The 4nights was excellent with game drives in both mara and lake nakuru and in lake naivasha we rode the bike in hellsgate.

The safari was Good and i can remend the safri company and the driver guide(antony) too.

Chao..

Amazing
4/5

We had a custom safari (husband and wife) organized through Karibu Safaris In Kenya, since we wanted to see both Kenya and Tanzania - especially the Masai Mara and The Serengeti. It was a 10 day, 9 night trip. The best part was the Masai Mara - that was our first experience of the animals and it was incredible . Our Driver guide, Tom, was terrific and worked hard to please us. We didn't realize, although we had a good time, that the Serengeti was dryer. When we got there, there seemed to be fewer animals. We didn't realize when we booked that we would build a rapport with our first guide in Kenya. So it was difficult to adjust to another style of camping and so on, but overall Kenya was the best followed by Tanzania.

Wonderful Kenya Safari Experience
4/5

We are an expatriate family living and working in Uganda. We were referred by a friend who had used this company. We booked a private tour just for the two of us to Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. We were given a reasonable deal and our designated driver guide went out of the way to make sure we were happy. The company also planned a surprise birthday gift at our lodge in Samburu. The entire safari was professionallly organised and executed. We recommend this company to any potential Kenya safari seeker.

The best quality-to-price ratio.
4/5

A fantastic safari for a reduced price. Only would improve the food in the camp.

it would be better if there was a better and proper clarification of whats included and whats not.
also some advise from the guide as to where to buy souveniers in order to get better prices and not get ripped off by sellers would be a plus

I have never seen a lot of animals like what I saw in the Safari. It was awesome.
4/5

The Safari was very nice. We got to see a lot of animals and it was worth it. The only problem that we experience was the tent and the food. The tent water did not go down after bathing. We also had bowel movement problems after eating the Chicken in Maasai Mara. I think the Chicken was not refrigerated. The best food to serve is Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches or Vegetarian food if there is no refrigerator. Food in the evenings was very good though because it was served hot. Overall we enjoyed the Safari and we got to see plenty of animals. All our friends are envious. Everyone wants to see our pictures. Richard was a very good driver and we enjoyed having him us our driver. we will definitely recommend Karibu Safari.

Thanks,
Robert

Amazing wildlife safari experience! :D
4/5

I booked a 3-day group joining safari. It was really fun though very short. I would love to go back to Kenya and see more animals!

We stayed at Lenchada Camp, not bad for a budget accommodation. Lights out at 10PM, lights on at 5:30AM. They serve mostly vegan food in the buffet, but it's always good to mention your dietary preference.

I do recommend Karibu Safaris. Communication is excellent. If you just want to see wildlife and not looking for something luxurious, book here. This is the cheapest price I found on the internet. The people I was with booked from different operators, so just remind the driver what's included in the price.

Great experience!
4/5

At the beginning we were not sure on the safari but our booking was handled by Robert and he is very efficient and always available. I wonder if he sleeps? As anytime I sent him my query he would immediately reply even if was middle of the night. He made it so simple that everything for us went hassle free. Also I would like to mention our guide Joseph who made all the best possible efforts to find perfect sighting spots and the incredible experience we had watching the great migration. All the efforts put by both these guys are really commendable and I would highly recommend them.

Thanks again
Nutan

value for money
4/5

From my first submission of an enquiry with Karibu Safari's in Kenya, I was contacted promptly and made aware of what was on offer and the booking was made simple. The email communication was great. They also helped us with an airport shuttle and overnight hotel stay before the safari began.
Unfortunately, we were not introduced to our driver/guide on the first day, and I believe that this is an important part of the whole Safari. The second issue I would like to raise, is that the drivers should be more personal (eg getting to know the people on the van), and informative advising us of a comprehensive daily itineracy and also offering more information regarding the animals we encounter and some history/knowledge on the routes we take during the day and the places of interest. The driver should also have introduced us at the hotels that we stayed at.
Overall I would recommend Karibu to my friends & book again with them

Exellent and well-organized safari.
4/5

I thoroughly enjoyed the service provided by Karibu Safaris. We got to see all the Big 5 and many more animals. The tented camp we stayed at ,"Elephant Springs", was well kept and very comfortable. The meals provided throughout the experience were excellent.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to our driver. He was friendly enough and tried his best - driving over 100kms on our second day - but lacked the ability to interact with the clients on a scale that I have experienced on other safaris - this may have been due to an insufficient English language skills. It may also have been because we were in the back of a large mini-van and hearing was sometimes difficult. He also had a habit of driving close to other cars which meant 'eating' a lot of dust. It would have been easy to pull back a bit (say 50 metres) and avoid the dust. I understand he was sometimes in a hurry to get to rare animals (eg, rhino, cheetahs) when it was radioed through and I appreciate this. Also, he tended to drive off before we had finished photographing and on other safaris I have done the driver always made sure that we were ready to go.
The van we used had 8 people in it despite being promised that there would only be 7, with a window each. I suspect this was done to enhance profits. Admittedly I did change my dates a few times so maybe they had a good reason for this. This did not affect our safari so much as there were a couple of older ladies who had been on various safaris before and they were mostly happy to view from the windows. Make sure you are promised only 7 as it could get crowded at the top of the pop-up-top.
I think Karibu Safaris has a lot of promise. The driver we had just needs a few training tips and he will be fine. I would not hesitate to book them again.
