Outstanding experience!
We had an outstanding experience with Tanzania Choice Safaris this May. We spent one day in the Ngorongoro Crater seeing an outstanding collection of wildlife. Our guide, Kakasii, was very knowledgable on the wildlife, the many types of birds, and how to navigate the sometimes flooded trails. The next two days were spent in the Serengeti. Again the wildlife was amazing. After two days we had seen all of the Big Five -- elephants, lions, rhinos, cape buffalo, and finally a leopard with its kill in a tree. The safari vehicle was comfortable, the lodging was amazing and also Kakasii furnished a hot lunch as we enjoyed a scenic stopping point. I would highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris!

Tanzania Choice is outstanding, and helped us have a superior, amazing safari experience.
We have just returned from 5 amazing days in Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We were referred to Tanzania Choice by friends who have been repeat clients, and we found them absolutely wonderful to work with. Brenda always responded quickly, listened to what we hoped to do, identified excellent properties at COVID-discounted rates, and proposed an itinerary which we approved. She booked our flights and sent preparatory instructions, and kept in touch with our guide throughout our trip. Kakasii, our guide, has more than twenty years of experience, and it showed. He navigated the parks like the back of his hand, and gave us close encounters with wildlife well beyond those of most safaris, speaking knowledgeably about every animal we saw -- from the smallest bird to the largest elephant. We were in the best of hands. Four days later, we are still high from the entire trip, and are eager to get back out to see more of Tanzania's landscapes and wildlife. Our safari completely exceeded our expectations, and we recommend Tanzania Choice with enthusiasm and gratitude.

Family Safari with Teens
We truly enjoyed the experience. We were going to visit the Serengeti in October, but needed to cancel b/c of work. Brenda produced a nice itinerary for us already, so we were excited to get back with her. Since we are novices, we left the planning to her with some general guidelines. After we received our December itinerary and it looked great. We made one suggested change and then we were off.
Everything was super smooth. Kakasii, the guide, picked us up at the airport and was with us the entire time. He made every effort to get us to see everything we wanted to. Sometimes we left a location we were enjoying wondering why we were departing, only to see something even more interesting. No need to go over our itinerary, I would just tell Tanzania Choice what you want to do and leave everything to them.

An amazing once in a lifetime experience. Truly AMAZING!!!!!!
In booking this adventure our first impression was dealing with Brenda. She was very accommodating and professional. She was in contact with us up until the day we left for the safari. All of our flights and ground transportation went like clockwork. Brenda made us feel like we had been friends forever. We were met by our two guides Kakasii and Noel. We left the airstrip and within 10 minutes we came upon mating lions. From that point on we saw so many animals and both guides provided us with an incredible amount of information on all wildlife and vegetation. After a full day of the safari we went to our camp. There we were met by a group of young men from the Maasai tribe that were so accommodating and helpful. They met our every need. Each night we had dinner with Kakasii and Noel and talked about the day. Kakasii and Noel made us feel so comfortable and they are both professionals in their field. We highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris and if the need arises we would definitely use their service again. THANKS BRENDA, KAKASII AND NOEL FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

Highly experienced, knowledgeable, and professional operation.
Tanzania Choice was highly recommended to us by our colleagues here in Tanzania, and they did not disappoint! Everything was smooth and easy from the get go. The user friendly website made it easy to book exactly what we wanted. Then communications were open and professional negotiating the final itinerary and lodging.
Once on ground in Arusha we were immediately welcomed by our guides, who quickly made us feel as if we were longtime friends. Be the end of the first day we realized we had one of the top guides of Tanzania's safari circuit. Throughout the rest of the safari our guides (we had a primary guide and another in training) consistently displayed their in depth knowledge of the parks, the wildlife, and the terrain. They were enthusiastic the whole time, and we could tell they genuinely love what they do for a living. Our guide was even able to arrange a visit into the Olduvai Gorge during our stop there. It seemed all other safari vehicles were restricted to the visitor center, while we got to go and see the Leakey's dig site.
A big positive for Tanzania Choice is their commitment to safety. The safari vehicle was well maintained. We felt confident in this looking around seeing all the other safari vehicles caked in dirt and mud, and ours being cleaned every morning and at every stop. Our driver/guide was clearly very experienced driving in rough and unforgiving terrain. He was confident in what could and could not be safely traversed. When it came to driving up and down the steep mountain roads of the Ngorngoro Crater we had full confidence in our well-being.
The accommodations Tanzania Choice booked for us were all outstanding. They regularly visit many of the accommodations in the national park areas and provide the best ones to their customers. We were very happy with all three of our overnight lodgings. All were comfortable, had good food, and stuck to our budget.
Overall this was the trip of a lifetime. Going in, we imagined this was going to be amazing. This met and far exceeded our expectations. We could not be happier with how this safari turned out. Highly, highly recommend!

Superb & Caring Owners, Guides, Staff with Detailed Attention to All Providing a Lifetime Experience
Communication before and during the Kilimanjaro Climb was excellent. We even Skyped several times with the owners and Big Boss Festo and all questions were answered pretrip from packing to training to goal setting. They even stayed in touch with our families with emails and pictures letting them know how the climb was going. On the mountain, Festo and his crew took excellent care of us and they were so much fun to be around. They even sang and danced while we were coming down a stretch towards camp exhausted after climbing the Barranco wall which brought smiles to our faces. Food was great. Service was top notch. Overall experience was way above my expectations. The safari guide was also excellent. Highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris for climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and going on safari.

Seamlessly planned, perfectly executed safari!!
Recently had an amazing safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris! Mine was a 4 day safari that included the Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti with an overnight at Rhino Lodge and 2 nights at Ndutu Bush Camp. From planning to the actual safari, every part of this experience far exceeded my expectations.
All of my questions prior to arrival were thoughtfully answered and I was able to correctly anticipate what I would need to prepare and pack for this trip. Not knowing what parks to visit or what should be included to maximize my experience, Brenda expertly crafted an itinerary that simply took my breath away. I now understand why safari tops so many bucket lists and also why so many struggle in planning the perfect experience. As someone from the convention industry I know what goes into any planning process and the amount of details that were handled with ease and to perfection truly allowed me to relax and enjoy this vacation. Not to mention, there was not much planning I needed to do on my end -- that's a true vacation!
From the moment our guide, Leslie, picked us up from the hotel to the sad moment when he returned us there, I felt as though I had gained another friend. A friend who expertly maneuvers a Land Cruiser over all the various terrains (never once breaking down--which there was quite a bit with different tour companies) while pointing out all there is to see in the parks. I really appreciated how much he knew about parks, the animals and his great sense of humor. His ability to read the terrain and the animals, knowing how to make the most out of the experience, when to wait and when to seek out the next thing really made this an extraordinary experience.
I also want to say that while i detest camping, I am surprised to say that one of my favorite things about the safari was staying at the bush camp. It really added something special to the experience. Anyone planning a safari should seriously consider adding this. It's so worth it!
From the bottom of my heart, Brenda and Kakasii, thank you for showing me all the wonders and beauty in Tanzania. It will be a vacation I will cherish and remember always. And Leslie, thank you for keeping us on the road, safe and for seeing way more than just butterflies!

Awesome Experience With Great Guides
The communications we received about planning for the safari were very helpful. The guides were very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We went to three different parks and saw almost everything up close in various settings. The vehicle was comfortable and the box lunches were excellent. This was an experience we will never forget.

Excellent Animal Viewing; Beautiful Accomodations; Knowledgeable Guides
Our guides were knowledgeable and skillful as they not only found animals for us to view up close, but gave us time to watch the animals rather than rushing from one siting to the next. We stayed in luxury tents that allowed for additional animal viewing in the evening – and was environmentally friendly! Food was delicious and varied. Nothing but positive experiences from booking the trip to having our expectations met on safari. We’ve been on a number of safaris and this was the best one yet!

Most fabulous experience , very knowledgeable guide
Excellent service, our guide was very patient and has a great personality. We saw the big five animals. His knowledge of the different species of birds was impressive. You are treated like family. Tanzania Choice Safari makes you very comfortable.
