Seamlessly planned, perfectly executed safari!!
Recently had an amazing safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris! Mine was a 4 day safari that included the Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti with an overnight at Rhino Lodge and 2 nights at Ndutu Bush Camp. From planning to the actual safari, every part of this experience far exceeded my expectations.
All of my questions prior to arrival were thoughtfully answered and I was able to correctly anticipate what I would need to prepare and pack for this trip. Not knowing what parks to visit or what should be included to maximize my experience, Brenda expertly crafted an itinerary that simply took my breath away. I now understand why safari tops so many bucket lists and also why so many struggle in planning the perfect experience. As someone from the convention industry I know what goes into any planning process and the amount of details that were handled with ease and to perfection truly allowed me to relax and enjoy this vacation. Not to mention, there was not much planning I needed to do on my end -- that's a true vacation!
From the moment our guide, Leslie, picked us up from the hotel to the sad moment when he returned us there, I felt as though I had gained another friend. A friend who expertly maneuvers a Land Cruiser over all the various terrains (never once breaking down--which there was quite a bit with different tour companies) while pointing out all there is to see in the parks. I really appreciated how much he knew about parks, the animals and his great sense of humor. His ability to read the terrain and the animals, knowing how to make the most out of the experience, when to wait and when to seek out the next thing really made this an extraordinary experience.
I also want to say that while i detest camping, I am surprised to say that one of my favorite things about the safari was staying at the bush camp. It really added something special to the experience. Anyone planning a safari should seriously consider adding this. It's so worth it!
From the bottom of my heart, Brenda and Kakasii, thank you for showing me all the wonders and beauty in Tanzania. It will be a vacation I will cherish and remember always. And Leslie, thank you for keeping us on the road, safe and for seeing way more than just butterflies!

Awesome Experience With Great Guides
The communications we received about planning for the safari were very helpful. The guides were very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We went to three different parks and saw almost everything up close in various settings. The vehicle was comfortable and the box lunches were excellent. This was an experience we will never forget.

Excellent Animal Viewing; Beautiful Accomodations; Knowledgeable Guides
Our guides were knowledgeable and skillful as they not only found animals for us to view up close, but gave us time to watch the animals rather than rushing from one siting to the next. We stayed in luxury tents that allowed for additional animal viewing in the evening – and was environmentally friendly! Food was delicious and varied. Nothing but positive experiences from booking the trip to having our expectations met on safari. We’ve been on a number of safaris and this was the best one yet!

Excellent service, our guide was very patient and has a great personality. We saw the big five animals. His knowledge of the different species of birds was impressive. You are treated like family. Tanzania Choice Safari makes you very comfortable.

When I contacted Tanzania Choice Safaris, Brenda -the co-owner- easily grasped my interests, ideas and concerns to set out to build a customized itinerary for me. While I went to Tanzania initially for a week-long conference, I had a few personal contacts and hopes for trips and sight-seeing afterwards. I was amazed at how expertly Tanzania Choice Safaris put together a package that organized everything into an amazing program. Brenda had taken my proposals, and together with valuable ideas from a wonderful contact she gave me, I had an itinerary that covered visiting a Masaai girls school, a hospital, a theological faculty, museums, a short trip to Dar Es Salaam, and a safari trek. It was a joy to count on Kasakii for all my local visits and tours, as well benefitting from his knowledge and upbeat attitude in my safari to Arusha National Park. A friend of our told us about Tanzania Choice Safaris when she heard we were going to Tanzania. That was the easy button for me since I did not have to do any research to find a reputable company. Brenda replied to my e-mail immediately and most of all was with me every step of the way not only helping me to prepare for my trip to Africa but also with safari preparation. I did not shop prices, because I wanted someone I could trust, and I got more than that, so I can't comment on how their prices compare, but I can say she took care of us when the pastor who we were visiting wanted to join the safari with us!

Home Run Hit with Tanzania Choice SafarisEverything
Every aspect of our trip was nothing short of spectacular. Kakasii, Brenda & Ezekiel were warm and welcoming. All three patiently answered our never ending questions. No effort was spared not just to meet our wildest dreams but to exceed them. Our accommodations were clean & comfortable with great showers and attractively pleasant grounds. Even the luxury tented lodges and the Masai lodges were better than great. We were able to keep our cameras and devices charged either in the vehicle or at the lodges. Everyone we met was eager to share their culture and knowledge. Unlike many tours, we were able to plan our own schedules with options to revise should the need arise.
As for the wildlife viewing and photo opportunities, I can't begin to detail how very spectacular was each experience. Each day we teased our guides as to how they were ever going to top what we experienced that day. Yet every single drive presented a new, different and somehow even greater adventure. My husband and I have made five awesome trips to Africa and numerous trips to every continent on this planet. We both agree that this trip with Tanzania Choice Safaris tops the list. That takes some doing as we've been blessed to travel to many wonderful
places. Not only do we plan to make a repeat trip, everyone in our group wants to be included in the plans. Tanzania Choice runs an awesome safari. Many thanks to all of you until next time.

Absolutely amazing and life changing! Knowledgeable, prepared, and always had our interests at heart
I knew this would be an amazing trip but Tanzania Choice Safari made it a life changing experience. We started planning our trip almost 9 months in advance and were referred through an acquaintance. We had a lot of questions and Tanzania Choice was always very responsive with answers. When choosing our lodging we were given several choices to choose from. TC provided links and details to enable us to make knowledgeable choices. They gave information on what to expect and walked us through every detail. Our stay was for a 2 week period and we did many game drives in the Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Arusha National Park. Every park was beautiful however; we were very thankful for our guides as they went off the beaten path to make sure we not only saw all the animals we could and saw them from every angle. There was one day where our guide veered off the road to show us lions. We couldn't see anything and when asked what he was seeing he said he saw the 'ears' twitching in the grass. It was unbelievable the attention that was paid to our surroundings to show us as much as he could. While on the game drives you are out in the middle of nowhere, and our guide knew where he was at all times. He made us feel at ease and created a trust in us that we had nothing to fear. Bottled water was provided in abundance and was much appreciated.
I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Tanzania Choice Safaris. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be back in the near future!

An experience that has created memories that will last forever.
As first time safari travelers, we were impressed with everything about Tanzania Choice Safaris. From the initial emails with Brenda, to actually beginning our adventure in Arusha, to the final days - it was everything that we had imagined and more. Kakasii was so hospitable and knowledgeable leading us to see so many incredible animals. His passion and excitement were contagious as he shared his love of Tanzania, the beauty of nature and the majesty of the many animals - large and small. The land cruiser, cold drinks, the accommodations and the meals we shared just made for an exceptional travel experience. We were all sorry to see our adventure come to an end. Exciting, comfortable and romantic safari, full of adventure
I'm very pleased we decided to go with Tanzania Choice. All communication was timely, efficient, friendly and professional. Tanzania is a very special, very beautiful place and our guide, Leslie, was very informative and experienced. Brenda of Tanzania Choice went above and beyond in arranging our trip. Our special dietary requirements were well taken care of for us in advance and we stayed in places that exceeded our expectations. She arranged our trip beautifully.
I miss it very much.
