Great communication, professional organization and a lot of fun
We enjoyed every moment of our vacation. Uganda is a wonderful place to visit and has so much to offer. We particularly enjoyed the game drive in Murchison Fall NP, the boat tour on the Kazinga channel, the chimpanzee and gorilla trekkings.
Communication with Reagan was prompt and easy and the organization was professional. The price for the tour was one of the bests we could get but this didn't mean compromise on service and quality.
Highly recommend Dav Safaris.
Arafat is a great guide and excellent driver. He has extensive knowledge on all the places and animals we came across. Moreover he has a magical ability to summon the animals during the game drives.
9 days are way to short to properly cover everything so we will return for a longer stay for sure :)

Great Tour with Dav Safaris
We've just come back from a 6 day mid-range Uganda tour booked with Dav safaris Uganda. Our trip was organised and arranged very speedy and efficiently via email, the communication with Reagan was extremly professional, prompt and friendly. The itinerary of the tour was well and accurately planned, including great activities and 4 lodges well chosen and super nice lodges. With Confidence Reagan, we had an excellent guide on our side during our whole trip. He is an excellent safe driver, always friendly, polite and in good mood. Also he's an expert about his country's nature and animals and made sure we spotted as many beasts and birds as possible during our safaris. We really enjoyed our time with Confidence, he was not only very helpful and well organised, making sure we had a great holiday, but also super nice and interested in his clients, happy to chat, share ideas or answer questions and thus making the sometimes long journeys very enjoyable. Confidence Reagan is truly a gem, a very experienced, knowledgeable, reliable and pleasant guide - we strongly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Uganda.

The guide exceeded my expectations
Incredible experience in Uganda and i think 90% of that was due to Julius the guide for the trip. I think he knows half of Uganda and the other half he's getting to know. He went beyond his role and taught me so much about the local cultures, the numerous languages (over 50 i think) and even taught me several phrases in Luganda (the most widely spoken language in Uganda). The safaris, chimps and gorillas were incredible and the boat trips and accommodation were all very nice too.

Exceeded expectations
I booked a 5-Day Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking Tour with Dav Safaris and it was absolutely amazing. From the start, Reagan was very helpful with organizing my itinerary and answering all my questions. The whole tour was arranged to my needs and I was happily surprised that I got a "private" tour, since I was the only person departing that day. I even got welcomed at the airport by Reagan himself, his daughter and Ben, my guide, who was also extremely helpful and kind to me the whole five days. Because I'm a woman travelling alone, it can be concerning to go on the road that much time with a man you don't know, but Ben always made me feel safe and comfortable, and he was always trying to improve my experience by widening my knowledge about Uganda, it's wildlife and culture, and making sure I was having the time of my life.
As for the trekking experiences, they were both so amazing and fulfilling, and I was lucky enough (also thanks to Ben) that neither of them were as long as I had expected. Other highlights of the trip were the monkey trekk and community tour, which I enjoyed greatly (guided by a local named Patrick), and the visit to Lake Buyonyi.
Regarding the lodges, I stayed in three different ones, all of them absolutely stunning and filled with the nicest people. The food was great at all times, whether we ate at the lodges, packed lunches, or on the road. The vehicle was comfortable, which was great because we had many driving hours a day.
In sum, I'm happy I got to live this experience without any disturbances or complaints. I 100% recommend Dav Safaris.

Unbelievable Experience!

Our trip was absolutely unforgettable. Reagan was fantastic and helped set everything up beforehand, making the whole process smooth and stress free.
Jerry and Gard are guides were amazing, so much knowledge and always willing to help in any way they could. We learnt so much about Uganda, its wildlife, culture and great chats at the end of the day. Could not of asked for a better two people to show us around Uganda.
Seeing gorillas and chimpanzees in their natural habitat was a once in a lifetime experience. And spotting a leopard was the cherry on top!
We’re definitely booking with DAV Safaris again. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience during our Gorillas and Rhinos tour
Dav Safaris were very proactive when organising our tour and meeting our requests. Our guide and driver, Adison, was very helpful, friendly and organized. We had a great time and really enjoyed the Gorillas at Bwindi and Rhinos at Ziwa.

Amazing trip to see the gorillas
We booked a 4-day, 3-night gorilla trekking adventure with Davis Safaris, and it exceeded our expectations! The highlight was, of course, encountering the gorillas in Bwindi, but every part of the journey was memorable. We loved seeing the adorable golden monkeys and were captivated by the stunning beauty of Lake Bunyonyi.
Our guide, Adams Gorilla, was exceptional. He was always punctual, kept us informed about the daily schedule, and had an impressive knowledge of everything we asked. Plus, he is incredibly friendly and hilarious. The van we traveled in was clean and comfortable, and the itinerary was well-balanced, with varied activities and accommodations that never felt overwhelming.
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience for my first time in Africa, and I highly recommend Davis Safaris and Adams Gorilla. Thank you so much!
