I was travelling with 2 friends and we really didn't have to think about anything because PaperJet Travel had thought about every little detail! After our very long flight Justin waited us at the airport with a pizza! Already on this little detail you can understand the professional service they offer and the human touch they seek to provide. Justin drove us to the safari (kwazulu - Natal / Mavela Lodge) we had lots of very nice discussions and then the safari was just wow!! A once-in-a-life-time-experience with Peace Matunda (5-days Safari and stay at the Orphanage)
We did a 5-days Safari in the end of January with Peace Matunda and also stayed two nights at the Orphanage. Peace matunda is a small, familiar company, owned by people from Arusha and with a part of the money they support a school and a orphange.
We really enjoyed the time so much, it was a once-in-a-life-time-experience! The best of all of course was the Safari, we loved it a lot! Thanks to your great guide we saw so many animals, even animals we did not expect to see (lepard, gepard, rhino)! We slept in a “houselike” tent with foldaway bets and on nice campesides. Its basic, but comfortable. In the car we were only the two of us, what is a big plus compare to all the other companies.
The chef Kaaya was really helpful during the booking, cause we were quite short in time and answered quickly. He also gives you some advice, if you need, about which tour, national park or trips would be best for you, for the time and to see the animals and also about the payment. Our guide was really friendly, his knowledge about the animals is amazing, he knows also a lot about the area and you can talk about political things. He is doing it for 19 years and it was really interesting all the time and you can ask him all your questions. Our cook was very sweet, he asks you about your preferences and he puts a lot of effort in his work. He is really creative and the food was delicious and different every day. The guide and the cook were always on time and you can trust them with everything. They all know there job very well, are very serious and perfect for a fantastic safari experience.
After the safari we stayed at the Orphanage. Kaaya and his wife are working hard to support the children; they are really friendly, open minded and honest people. The children are really sweet and showed us around in the small village. You can tow walking trips at mount meru or trips to coffee farms or villages. I had fever for two days and in that time Kaayas wife and a volunteer helped us so much, we are so thankful for that.
All in all the team of peace matunda are great and we can 100 % recommend them :)

Great Botswana and Zimbabwe Safari!
Had a great safari experience with Malcolm. We had a set itinerary however due to weather we had to change locations which Malcolm re-arranged with ease for us. Locations were varied and remote including Hwange and Chobe National Parks. Malcolm arranged our vehicle hire which was brand new and well equipped and also lead us through immigration check points without hassle. Our first safari experience and looking forward to seeing more of Africa.

Excellent! Highly recommended!
We went to 2-days Selous safari with Gecko (from Zanzibar). Everything was great! Excellent service, much better than we could expect (even when we found out it's a real problem to print the booking with flight tickets in Zanzibar - asked Rama and they printed everything for us and brought us with the pick up to the hotel; when we came back, and it was really hot, the transfer to the hotel waited for us with wet towels for refreshment; really outstanding service!). Everything was fixed and well organized, had not even one issue with anything. Thank you very very much! From our experience - you are the best in Tanzania!!!:)

Surprised by the allure of the wild life and the care and information provided by the guide.
Spectacular safari! Seeing the birds and animals in their natural habitats was fascinating and I was intrigued by all the details the guide was able to convey on animal groupings and habits. The guide brought quality binoculars, which were a big plus. If there were many on the journey, it might be advisable to bring one’s own. For accommodations, I sought comfort and cleanliness (not luxury) in scenic settings and was pleased by the company’s arrangements. I did a 4-day trip to Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Parks and in retrospect would have preferred an additional day in Queen Elizabeth Park vicinity as most of the first and fourth day were spent driving. Though it was super interesting to drive through towns, villages and countryside, it was a lot of driving time. As a woman embarking on a solo safari, I valued the opportunity to make the journey with a woman guide. And I was impressed by the proficiency, responsiveness, attention to detail and fun loving orientation of the company and the guide.

Excellent and unforgettable!!!..
We have really enjoyed our unforgettable experiences in a 4 days tour in the Kruger National Park. Our best thanks to Wild Planet Safari and our guide Adriaan for the excellent services provided. We were in a group of 04 people and our transport was made in a van vehicle (kind of mini bus). It was relatively new, quite reliable, very safe and equipped with air conditioning and all other items to make our tour extremely comfortable. We stayed in very clean and cozy rondwel huts in Skukuza and Satara Rest Camps. Adriaan is a highly qualified, extremely well informed, very professional, creative and most friendly guide. His first class guidance and competent support as well as the information, stories and jokes about the wildlife made the tour even more interesting. His assistant during the tour was Lucky, a quite helpful professional as well. Wild Planet Safari is not apparently a big company, but its services are provided on a highly personalized basis as a big difference in its favor. Awesome!!!
Everything about this trip was great. Lisa and Hanas picked us up in Jo-burg for our three day trip and dropped us back at the airport after the tour. Our group was large (18) but the tour ran like a well oiled machine. The guides were very professional and fun. We were able to see four of the big five in Kruger (leopard eluded us). I cannot recommend this Safari enough, it was the highlight of our trip to South Africa.

Amazing post-wedding trip with friends & family!
Grassrootz helped us a lot to realize a trip of a lifetime! We had our wedding in Uganda, and Sander helped us to show our guests some of Uganda's highlights after the wedding. We travelled with a group of 23 people for 7 days, and visited Lake Mburo, Queen Elisabeth National Park, Kibale Forest and the crater lakes bij fort portal. We enjoyed it so much, we saw lots of animals, from zebra's through a lion in a tree, lots of hippo's, elephants, cimpansees... and enjoyed the great diversity of the Ugandan landscapes and national parks. Sander has been very flexible in accommodating different needs and budgets of individuals/sub-groups within our group, some alternative accommodation and activity options. He is also very quick to respond, and found us really good lodges! The lodges all had gorgeous views, good food, nice campfires, beautiful outdoor showers, luxury tents in the forest... The trip he put together for us was sharply priced, really good value. We had three vans with drivers and one car of our own, and all drivers were very friendly and professional, and made the trip do smoothly. Having travelled and lived in Uganda before, we knew how beautiful it was already, but this trip with so many friends & family was very special! We had an Amazing time!! A big thanks again to Sander for helping us make it happen!
