The vast grasslands with the variety of grazing is humbling. And seeing the big cats lounging about was treat

We spent the night at :Embalakai Camp in the Serengeti, so we had 2 days to explore. The huge expanse of the park meant you might drive quite awhile before seeing animals. But, they are all there and the drivers communicate to bring tourists to the best viewing spots. We were thrilled with everything we saw: lions eating a zebra (and vultures waiting their turn); a leopard and two cubs in a tree; cheetah scanning for game close to the road; lots of antelope and gazelles; gorgeous birds, hundreds of zebra crossing the road - thousands of wildebeasts, etc. Given the size of the park, I felt two days was minimum.

That's one of the places to be in Tanzania for safari. It worth the effort but it needs to be a 2-3 day trip

The wideness, the greatness of space and diversity of the Serengeti is difficult to describe. Just come to enjoy it.
The popularity might become a problem in some periods of the year when there will be more jeeps than good for the equilibrium.
Due to the big migration, there are some many opportunities to see great scenes (mating, births, successful and unsuccessful hunts, birds).
