Kidepo Valley National Park is located in the north eastern corner of Uganda. Kidepo is a true wilderness given its vast savannah plains and rugged mountain landscape home to all the Big Game as we have come to know them. Kidepo Valley National Park is by far the most spectacular of Uganda’s parks yet the least visited. After being declared a wildlife reserve area in 1958, the local tribe of the Ik that called the valley home were chased from the fertile valley which gives the park its name.
