Nyungwe national park, one of Central Africa’s best preserved rain forest covering an area of about 970 sq km containing bamboo, grasslands and swamps plus Mount Bigugu. Nyungwe forest is a very popular primate tracking destinations with large colonies of common chimpanzees, Angola colobus monkeys and other interesting primate species like the L’ Hoest monkeys, Golden monkeys and red tailed monkeys. Tour ends with cultural tour by visiting the Kitabi eco-center and National museum in Huye.
