Queen Elizabeth National Park is the country’s most scenic and diverse park with close to 100 species of mammals, over 600 bird species, and large schools of hippopotamus. A part of the isolated Ishasha Sector is prominent for the resident tree-climbing lions. Kibale National Park is where you will observe chimpanzees and other primates like the black and white colobus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys and the rare L'Hoest's monkey and over 200 bird species in the Bigodi Swamp.
