Marangu is the famous and the least expensive route, perhaps is for the fact that it is possible to do the Marangu route in 5 days, thereby getting to the summit one day earlier. The Marangu route does however offer you the option of spending an extra acclimatization day on the mountain. After trekking you will continue with five days of safari and you will visit Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater.
