Very enjoyable safari tour - questionable accommodation
We had a very nice safari in a big 4x4 Land Cruiser and saw lots of the animals. Our guide Gerald (aka Geeman) was very good at spotting and pointing out animals and getting us all over the place and up close to several of the animals.
The only downside was the accommodation, which was an unpleasant surprise. Very basic tents which I wasn’t expecting, and the food was quite wearisome. Thankf ... Read moreully there was alcohol.
The trip to the Masai Tribe was fun, but expect to buy several take aways.

Geeman, is the best tour guide! He made it fun and exciting! Each drive is an amusement and a memory keep! We chased not only the animals but as well as the sunset! I highly recommend Axis and ask for Geeman for your tour guide! Unforgettable experience!

We had a great time and experience and the two Guides/drivers- Abdulah and Kevin were very good 👍 They gave us alot of information about the trip
Most cooperative operator, flexible and Seamless operation.
First point is most reasonable prices but still more value for money. Not a single error in program. We found it most reliable. Mr. Tabitha planned it well and guides Kikitu and Richie implemented it by perfect timing in movements. Both guides have good knowledge of animals life style and nature. We learned a lot.
We highly recommend this operator.
Regarding hotels :- In masaimara as per budge ... Read moret it was ok. For veg food they tried their best. In Nakuru hotel was too good and meals also good. In Naivasha hotel was so so. Not very comfortable and meals too were basic. Hot water shower was not working.
Overall experience is very good.

Cover all the essentials, skip the nonsense
Signed up for 5 days maasai mara and lake safari. Richard was assigned to us and he brought us to see the safari. Get to see lion,hyena hunting for buffalo. Giraffe is just next to us and get sprayed by elephants with their trunk. Interesting experience overall.

Went on a 5 day safari. Everything was well planed and the tour guide Jack was very knowledgeable and funny. Communication and service from Axis and tour guide was good and the whole experience was super! Really value for money.
