Wonderfull Safari experience
Prior to our trip, we were a little bit concerned about booking with a local agency, because we never did it before.
But the communication with Axis and the organization was fantastic.
We had a very great week.
There were some long rides, but they were totally worth it.
We would book with Axis again if we have the opportunity

The overall experience with Axis Safari was really worth it! This was our first visit to Afrika and we were very excited in preparing for it. The team was very responsive in helping us to plan, replying by emails and whatsapp promptly. We were a bit nervous as it was rainy season but it turned out perfectly well - there were a few rainfalls, just refreshing and making the sky and scenery even more ... Read more beautiful. We managed to see almost all animals but the leopards were a bit shy. Our guide Roger was super nice and kind, explaining everything about the parks, tribes and enimals, with all the patience in the world despite the shouting kids and endless time spent on shopping souvenirs. My only note is that the travel time between Nakuru and Amboseli is really long, about a day, and as it was a week day the trafic was really heavy. I would have liked to have some opportunities for walking, and not sitting in the jeep all day long, also bearing in mind that for kids that was challening. But of course we had a very packed agenda, 3 parks for 6 days (Maasia Mara, Nakuru, Amboseli) , so you need to decide if you want to see all parks or may e focus on 1-2 if you have less than a week. Food and accommodation in all Sopa Lodges was amazing. And Really nice service. Keep in mind tips are recommended everywhere. Thank you Axis Safari for the great experience you gave us! We leave Kenya with rich and great memories of the nature, culture and people. 🇰🇪
Excellent operator, excellent guide, excellent trip!
The organisation of the trip was very good and easy for us. Great selection of parcs and lodges. Our guide Roger was taking very good care of us making everything easy and pleasant. He managed to show us all of the big fives and 4 of the ugly fives. I really do recommend Axis Safaris anytime!

Unforgettable experience of Kenyan hospitality and nature in Masai Mara National Park
We booked a three day Safari trip to the Masai Mara National Park, it was beyond expectations of nature, wildlife and people.
Picked up from where we were staying, into a comfortable 4x4 wheel drive and the 6 hour drive from Nairobi to the Park was very doable.
Our driver and guide John stopped frequently for us to use the washroom and stretch our legs. After dropping us off to the Wild Nest ... Read more Camp for a quick (late) lunch, he took us for a game drive that did not disappoint. John knows where to find the animals, and respected our time to enjoy the animals. He checked in frequently to see if we enjoyed it and whether we were ready for the next part of the adventure. On the first night we saw a cheetah (rare), many herbivores and the king of the savannah (lion) with his females and some cubs.
The second day we were in the jeep all day and saw so many animals. Herds of zebra, giraffe, hyena, ostrich, Buffalo, wildebeast, vultures, sleeping Lions under a tree, and an amazing memory of Elephants (two different ones), ending the day with a lucky experience of a cheetah dining on a prey!
John knew many fun facts about the animals and he keeps a perfect balance between informing is about the animals and the circle of life as well as letting us enjoy the elegance, the power and the grace of the animals in silence.
The third day we started with an (optional but highly recommended) experience at the local Masai village. The men and women were very friendly and showed us their dances, their habits and craftsmanship. They are genuinely happy to share in conversation. Off course, we supported the village by buying some souvenirs.
All in all a very much recommended experience.

Accommodating and takes us the extra step
Richard was incredible with our group he’s very accommodating, patient and flexible, took us to cool spots and kept asking us where to go and what we want to see, he was also the first to get to the rare sightings before other tourist groups and actually found some rare stuff that we ended up telling others about.
