The tour was very well organized, starting from airport pick up to hotel drop off. I selected the mid range options and all the camps and hotels included were absolutely nice. the Guide Stanley was amazing, with very good sense of humor he could create a very positive atmosphere, he is also very caring and solution driven, he could find solution in any situation. My Masai mara safari trip organized by Axis Africa - one of the best holidays I ever had. We booked a budget safari for 4 days and were expecting a very budget experience. However, we were surprised to get a very experienced, caring and kind guide (Dickson) - ask for him he is the BEST, a sometimes luxury accommodation (Buraha Hotel and every morning and evening warm meals) and getting exactly what we came for: Watching wild animals in a welcoming environment. We would absolutely recommend to book the option of using a Land Cruiser/Jeep to get a better view and bring your binoculars (you can take a picture with your phone through them).
We also opted in to visit the local Masai village (20€) and take a boat trip on the lake Naivasha (30€). While we enjoyed both, I think the price for the latter is a bit too high. At this point we can not say anything about the Nakuru trip we booked.

He was so enthusiastic and keen to find the animals for us. He is a very good driver and we felt safe at all times despite difficult driving conditions with rain and heavy traffic on the roads.

We did 2 nights at Masai Mara and then 1 night at lake Navisha. This gave us the opportunity to see the Big 5 and so much more. From what others said to us, we benefited from having Jack as one guide for the whole trip. Some are switched between vehicles/drivers which can affect the experience.

Great Time With A Great Guide
This Safari was amazing from start to finish, it took all of the guess work and trouble out of the planning which is what we were looking for. The tour guide Steve was super accommodating the entire time and made sure we were comfortable. He ensured we got to see the Big 5! He also checked on us even after we were dropped off, all the way to gate. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I booked my 5 day safari via Axis safari because they answered my questions quickly and friendly. They told me that I would be picked up at 8 am. In the evening before my safari started, they suddenly changed the pick up to 07am because my hotel was too far away (airport hotel) which stressed me out a bit. Once we started with our tour guide Solomon I had a beautiful 5-day safari experience. Solomon was a very good driver and I always felt safe although the streets were muddy and bumby. He knows everything about the national parks we visited and the animals we saw. He answered all our questions and it was fun to talk to him. It was easy to add or change something from our itinerary. Solomon is a super friendly, competent and funny guide. I would recommend everybody to go on safari with him as a guide! All in all I had an amazing experience and I would always book it again with Axis and Solomon as a guide. However I would suggest to communicate the pick up times earlier or let the customers know from the beginning that you will meet at the office in the city centre. Cause then they can just book a hotel nearby to avoid the long wait. Thank you Axis and Solomon!

Communication was always prompt and reliable through email. Solved questions and queries over email before our arrival. The service provided was excellent by everyone, especially Andrew, our guide. He was reliable, approachable and went the extra mile for our experiences and photos inside the Maasai Mara.
