The company is very professional and serious. The fact that they have offices in central Nairobi also gave me a lot of peace of mind when booking remotely and several months in advance.
Our guide, Dr. Andrew Kamau, was outstanding. He was always punctual, extremely experienced, and an excellent driver despite the challenging roads and difficult driving conditions. His knowledge of the wildlife was impressive, but what surprised me the most was how well he knew such a huge area, even in places where there are barely any marked roads. His experience and skills were definitely a key part of making our safari such an incredible experience.
The accommodations they selected also exceeded our expectations by far, especially compared with what I had seen from other companies while researching and comparing different safari options.
Overall, I honestly think it would be very difficult to find a better option. From the communication and organization to the guide, accommodations, and the actual safari experience, everything was excellent. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

We had a great safari experience with Axis Africa. A special shout-out to our driver and guide, Raymond, who was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. His expertise in spotting wildlife and knowing where to go made a huge difference, and thanks to him I managed to see all the animals I had hoped to see!

We were incredibly lucky to see the Big Five, as well as cheetahs and leopards—including the unforgettable sight of a leopard hunting a serval cat! At Lake Nakuru, we also saw white rhinos and hundreds of flamingos.

Excelent 2 days of safari
It was an incredible experience from start to finish! Our guide, Kelvin, did everything possible to make sure we could see as many animals as possible. He was kind, funny and very knowledgeable, and he shared lots of interesting facts and curiosities about the animals throughout the safari.
After each adventure, we arrived at beautiful, safe and comfortable places to rest, with delicious dinner ... Read mores and great breakfasts. They also provided us with bottled water constantly and took care of absolutely everything, so we could simply relax and enjoy the experience.
I 100% recommend this company, and especially our guide KELVIN! He made the experience even more special.

I booked the seven-day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli joining safari with Axis Africa after reading the glowing online reviews, and the company fully lived up to them. From my initial enquiries to the final day of the trip, everything was smooth and well organised. Tabitha in the office answered all my questions before booking, and her communication was always clear and responsive. ... Read more Our group had the pleasure of having Mohamed as our guide, and he was truly fantastic. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the whole trip unforgettable. We saw the Big Five, and during the long drives he not only answered our questions but also told us about life in Kenya, local traditions, the people and family life. These conversations made the experience feel much more personal. His communication throughout the safari was excellent: we always knew where we were going, what we would be doing and what time we would be picked up the next day. From day one, he tried to remember everyone's names, which was a lovely touch. He also warned us before moving the car to get a different view of the animals, helping everyone avoid injury. These may seem like small details, but they showed how much he cared about giving guests the best possible experience. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe and well looked after throughout the trip.
It is also worth noting that, with a joining safari, the group can change after the third or fourth day. My fellow travellers and I had not realised this beforehand. For the final part of my tour in Amboseli, I joined another group, with John as our guide. He was also knowledgeable and brought us back to Nairobi safe and sound.
I had an amazing time in Kenya. I met so many lovely people and saw countless incredible animals. Seeing them in their natural habitat for the very first time was truly special, and the sunset in the Masai Mara was unforgettable.
