Aside from the actual safari itself the accommodations were excellent along with the food and water provisions. My expectations were already decently high going into this trip and Axis Safari went far beyond what I had expected or wanted. Do yourself a favor and reach out to plan an amazing trip.
Amazing Safari Experience
Chose Axis Africa Safaris on a recommendation from a few friends and could not have been happier with the outcome.
On the first day (of 3) my friends and I were picked up promptly from our hotel and driven to the meet up spot where we found the rest of our safari group and began the drive to Masai Mara. He knew the roads and Mara incredibly well and often took us to areas that had few other safari vehicles but tons of animals.
The accommodation was definitely basic (comfortable twin beds on a raised and tented platform and a few hours of electricity a day) but since you're out in the Mara all day you don't need much more. However, there are a few nicer camps in the surrounding area that I'm sure you can book for a little extra money if you request them.
Definitely would recommend this trip (and especially Kikitu) to anyone looking for a recommendation. Thank you Axis Africa Safaris!

This tour will keep its time tight.
And the guides are very good.
The last day was a flight at 7 o'clock, but I am very grateful for the tight adjustment.
You can watch the hunt on the safari and keep the sights steady.
And it is reasonable.

The accommodation at the Masai Mara was really lovely, felt very authentic to the area! As the parks are so far away from eachother, you do spend a lot of time in the van but it is comfortable and never got too hot, and Joshua was a fantastic driver and it was a great way to see more of Kenya. Excellent experience at a reasonable price
I was in Kenya for business and found out last minute about some time off which I wanted to use for a safari. I contacted a few companies only two nights before my time off and Axis reached out quickly with contact information which allowed me to schedule and finalize my booking only hours after inquiring, even with my reservation starting the next day. James was an excellent driver and safari guide who was very accommodating and skilled. We saw incredible landscapes and animals. His warm personality and patience made it an even better experience.
The accommodations were more than adequate, especially given the reasonable price, and the local food was quite enjoyable.

It was our first safari with our 2yo daughter. Everything was good. Richard and Albert our 2 guides were attentionate to us. The accommodation was simple but very comfortable.

A funny game drive in Masai Mara!!
Last January, my family and I had the 3-day, 2-night Masai Mara tour. Everything happened as it was publicized! Mr. Lennox was extremely attentive in whatsapp, the same as all drivers.
