We went to 3 days safari in Masai Mara, 1 day Lake Nakuru and 1 day Lake Naivasha with perfect price. Thanks to Lennox for that. It is realy cheapest one. There is one thing which is We were not happy that count of the people in the safari car. 8 people were too much.

Axis made everything easy for us, even with a last minute change to dates. Our driver John was great, gave great insights throughout the Safari and took care to make sure we were all comfortable. Especially appreciated his driving skills after seeing other cars get stuck as well as his patience with all the requests for better angles to take pics. Will recommend to friends.
Our point of contact Lennox was always prompt in his replies and very informative and helpful to all our questions. This was my first Africa trip along with some friends and he made us feel secure with what we were getting. Also, no advance payment, we paid only on arrival and that was very convincing as well.

One of the most hospitable tours I've been on to any of my travels.
Would highly recommend taking them. You will be safe and will have a great time.
Back to the grind a week later I am still reeling from my experience of a lifetime amidst the savannahs of Masai Mara! Anyone seeking adventure, excitement, and thrill out in the wild with the humble beasts themselves will not be disappointed...
All this was possible thanks to Lennox and his team who had it all sorted out for us. Right from the airport, up until the last day we were well taken ca ... Read morere of and everything was planned accordingly. Jimmy who was our guide and driver went out of his way to ensure we experienced the best of what Masai Mara had to offer. Even the camps set in nature were comfortable and provided all the basic necessities. A bonfire later in the evening to sit around and dwell on the sights and experiences of the Safari was a perfect way to end the day.
My only suggestion to up the experience further would be to reduce the time traveled on road during the day by setting off earlier, so the same time can be spent out on the Safari instead.
Thanks again Lennox for your excellent services!
We've booked 5-day Mount Kenya climbing. It was amazing! Thanks a lot to our guide Jimmy and Patrick's team (Patrick, Aizek, Kim,...). The food cooked for us was very tasty, climbing was interesting, amazing and not very difficult.
They delivered what they promised, it was an amazing trip for us, my boys 7 & 11 years old loved every bit of it. Lennox who I was coordinating with from the beginning was great and I never felt left out he provided us the best Gide and driver Leonard who tried his very best on all occasions to get what we requested for I would give him a 5 start and would recommend their services!
I just came back from a 3 day safari to Masai Mara and my experience couldnt have been any better. Communication before my trip to Kenya was excellent and on arrival i got picked up from the airport as we agreed, in time and without any problems. The driver took me to the office in Nairobi where I met the rest of the group and our guide James. The tour was anything i could have hoped for and more. ... Read more James is a great guy, always a smile on his face and he went out of his way to make everyone happy. He is very knowledgable and passionate about his job. We got to see the Big Five, the wildebeest crossing the river, cheetahs, a lion with its kill and a lot more. James was just as excited about every animal we saw as our group, even though he does the safari every week. He certainly made the difference between going on an ordinary safari and having an experience of a lifetime.
It is a company that does things well, transport was good, the guide was very good, accommodation and food are also very good. They answer all the questions and they are very kind. In comparison with other companies, the Axis service is better.
Communication with Lennox was fantastic beginning many months before the trip. He and his wonderful staff have answered all my interrogations via e-mail and that was the main reason why my wife and I chose Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris. Pick-up at the hotel was on-time. Beds were very comfortable. Visiting a Masai village is a must. I strongly recommend it. They were very welcoming. Many thanks to Augustus who brought us there. During the 3-day Safari, We saw the big 4 (excluding the Rhino which has become so rare to spot - haven't seen any during my first Safari either) and a lot of other animals, too numerous to mention here. The stop at Narok was a bit too long with our driver Dennis, over an hour and a 40 minutes, I am sure there is a possibility to accelarate things at Narok in order to spend more time on a Safari. Having mentioned that, we really appreciated our safari with our driver Dennis and we strongly recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris.
My wife and I (both late 20s) went on a 6 day (5 night) safari in July 2018. This included 3 days in the Masai Mara (and boat ride on Lake Naivasha), a day in Lake Nakuru, and 2 days in Amboseli. We had the most amazing time, a truly unique experience and memories which will last forever. And all for the best price we could find anywhere! Detailed review below for those interested.
As the othe ... Read morer reviews mention, you cannot control the animals and so the driver is the most important thing for a good Safari. Our driver/guide was Isaac and he was incredible. Brilliant driving, a great eye for spotting animals and great knowledge of every animal in Kenya! Best of all though was that he picked up on what we wanted from our safari - avoid the other vans where possible and see the full range of animals including the birds and herd animals (i.e. Not just the big 5).
The accommodation was very good considering the price and the location. Electricity, hot showers, and good food (they even had the World Cup on the tv in the restaurant). There was wifi in the lake Nakuru hotel, though not in the tented camps in Masai Mara or Amboseli.
In advance of our trip we were in email contact with Lennox. He was always very quick to respond to every email and every question.
The transport is a Toyota Hilux van. It can seat 8, although we had between 5 and 7 on our trip so there were spare seats. The other people in our van were good fun and we got to know them well.
We visited a Maasai village in the Masai Mara. This was a unique and fascinating experience. This is "free" although tip is expected - perfectly reasonable after they have shared their culture and invited you into their homes. This can be paid as cash or by purchasing the souvenirs they sell. As some others have mentioned, there is also the chance to visit a Maasai village in Amboseli. This is not free and they do not tell you this in advance. It is $20 (2000 shillings) per person (which is a lot of money, especially since we had already visited a village). Fortunately we picked up on the price before we got there and so declined the invite.
There are a couple of other times when small tips are appropriate including the boat ride in Lake Naivasha and the river walk along the Mara river.
We would recommend this safari tour to anyone and everyone. Bring a camera and binoculars and prepare to be blown away!
