Great safari trip
I booked this 4 day Safari tour in the last minute. I found it very difficult to choose between so many safai companies but I'm happy I chose Axis Africa Safari. I really enjoyed our 4 day budget safari, comfortable bus and with a very friendly group of 5/6 people. Our driver/guide Joshua was an extremely good driver. Amazing trip to the Masai Mara with experienced guides
We traveled to Masai Mara in November and i must say the trip was quite unforgettable.
We were able to spot all the Big 5 and many other animals thanks to our experienced and knowledgeable guides James and Joshua who were very good in searching for the animal locations. The tented camp was also a thing to remember, very comfortable place. We enjoyed breathtaking views of the great rift valley and ... Our contact Lennox was also very helpful in adjusting our schedule when we had a last minute change and made sure the whole trip was flawless.

Amazing experience in Masai Mara- Kenya
The tour was well planned and guided. The knowledge of Richard who took us for the 4 days was really commendable . We didn't even realize that we travelled over 1000 kms in 4 days covering Masai Mara, Lake Nivasha and Lake Nakuru. May be some improvement can be done at Lenchada camp with regards to the food. We went with the budget option but even so considering the price is nothing to complain about. The safari experience itself was very good.
A great time in an amazing environment
The memory of my three day safari in Masai Mara will stay with me forever. It was an amazing experience to come so close to so many beautiful wild animals. We saw the big five, and so many more animals. Our guide was nice, the group was nice and we stayed at a nice camp close to Masai Mara, sleeping in comfortable beds in tents. The only thing I am a bit hesitant about, is that I think we got too ... Read moreclose to the animals. It was absolutely not only us, but almost every other van from other companies (mostly Bonfire), that drove very close to the animals, and we were about 15-20 vans in the same spot sometimes. I later, when I got back, read that you're not supposed to be more than five vans and you're not supposed to get close than 25 metres from the animals.
I wish more companies would respect that. (as I said before, it semis almost no one doesn't). And of course I was really happy to see so many animals so close, but when for example four cheetahs surrounding a zebra were followed, and in their turn surrounded by 20 vans - it didn't feel as if it were on the animals' conditions.
But overall it was amazing to see so many animals, and our guide really did his best to find lots of them.

Axis was a great Safari to take. I made the booking last minute and Lennox responded instantly and had no problem helping me get on a trip to Massai Mara.
We had a great guide in Martin and saw all of the big 5 in one day! Would recommend Axis for a trip. Would go with them again!

Amazing experience of the wild
Our family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Our 8 day trip covered Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and Tsavo West. We saw up-close most of the Big 5 (Rhinos are the rarest!!). The hotels (Sopa Lodge in Mara & Amboseli, Lake Nakuru Lodge & Ngulia Safari Lodge in Tsavo) were well maintained and service was friendly. The hot air balloon ride in Mara is a must do. Be prepared for long drives when travelling between the locations.
My experience with Axis Africa Safaris to Mara National reserve was awesome.
