Amazing Review
It was a really amazing experience for us overall. We were picked up promptly from the hotel we stayed in. And our driver, Evans was kind enough to take us shopping for some additional items we forgot to pack.
Once at the reserve, we were really lucky that we managed to see almost every animal in the Masai Mara. The game drives would have been more fun if our driver/guide would have given us m ... Read moreore tips and info regarding the animals, territory, tribes, etc. But he more than made up for it with his driving skills and ensuring we got to see rare animals like the leopard and even a live cheetah hunt.
The accommodation/food was decent. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. But for the price, it was a good deal. I would gladly recommend Axis Africa to anyone planning to visit Africa.

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall services. The food was good, the camping was safe and really above my expectations, the driver/guide spoke English perfectly and he was a very pleasant companion. He had a Radio and communicated with the other drivers in the area and whenever a rare animal was spotted somewhere he would race to that place to help us catch a glimpse. I really recommend the ... Had a great time in Kenya
It was a well plan tour with excellent accommodation, transport, friendly and helpful guide / Driver. Eric was very helpful in providing the best tour itinerary to suite the budget and the time we had in Kenya. All in all it was a memorable visit and would like to recommend him to anyone who plans to visit Kenya.

We started planning our trip to Kenya with Axis, way back in January 2016. We were specific about seeing the great migration and visiting Samburu and other parks. Traveling Complete
The traveling company did a great job of meeting out many request. We were able to take a five day tour in Kenya beginning with a two day tour of Nairobi. We spent time traveling the historical and cultural spaces around the city including the Ministry Heritage building, Giraffe park, Crocodile and Ostrich Park, City market area and American Embassy Memorial park. Then we traveled a grueling sic ... Read morek hours to Marsai Mara Game Reserve and stayed at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Great place though it was journey to get there. Place is really off the beaten path. Roads turned to dirt roads then turned to driving through woods. I am happy our driver/guide knew where we were going. We got there safely and back without any problems. At the Lodge we were treated to breakfast Lunch and Diner included in our stay package. Food and services were great. Daily we went into the Game Reserve to search for animals and we found them all. Cheetahs and Lions, Warthogs, Hyena, Giraffes, Elephants and others were all in arms length view at times. It was amazing. Leaving the lodge we opted to change our plans instead of an early morning safari we took an early trip away from the lodge to get back to the city in search of souvenirs. The drivers were accommodating we enjoyed the afternoon at the market.

I would recommend Axis Africa Safari to anyone coming to Kenya. This company sought to match -- if not beat -- other safari prices. They kept in touch constantly with me beforehand (I must have emailed them at least fifty times). They were also able to formulate a two day Nairobi city tour (which was not a part of the original package, but they agreed to take us around the city). Lennox, the tour ... Read moreoperator, was good with the itinerary and was very welcoming. Peter, the driver, safely took us around during our five day visit, and he never rushed us.

American travelling with Kenyan friend and Young Child
The game drives are fantastic! They really depend a lot on your driver. Both of our drivers together were funny, knowledgeable and got close to the action. I stayed at Rhino camp in Mara which was very fun. Food and facilities were fine, bonfire was made every night, staff were very friendly.
