My dream came true!!
To celebrate our big birthdays, my husband gave me the most wonderful surprise of my life by taking me to Kenia with my two daughters, something that I have always dreamed of doing. After investigating many companies, he chose Axis Africa Expedition Company, and it was a perfect decision.

The quality of the safari is excellent, and our guide, Jack, gave our whole family the most fantastic moments during the safari. If I one day return to Kenia, I am absolutely sure that I will repeat the booking with Axis.

From day one, Lennox at Axis made the reservation process simple, suggesting various options at a range of prices. We wanted a private safari and to also extend our stay in the Maasai Mara by an extra day and this was all quickly and efficiently arranged. On arrival in Nairobi, one of our suitcases had been lost by the airline and again, although it was by no means their responsibility, Axis helpe ... Read mored enormously in arranging to have the case picked up from a local airstrip in the middle of the Maasai Mara! And as for the safari itself, we cannot speak more highly of Jack, our driver who is one of the most conscientious and really genuine people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. We were not lucky with the weather but Jack sought out hard to find animals in some harsh conditions and was extremely patient while we took endless photographs! He made suggestions for a few very reasonably priced additional excursions which were a wonderful surprise and a complete delight to experience. Our family is a mix of Spanish and English people and Jack's English is perfect and has pretty good Spanish too! We hope to return again one day and will definitely use Axis Safaris again. Wonderful experience
Great experience, packed itinerary. We had a superb guide. He was very knowledgable and an all round great guy, always easy going and excellent at handling the vehicle. Top tip - ask for Andrew when booking.
Andrew is an excellent game driver
We had an amazing 5 day safari with Axis covering Maasai Mara, Nakuru, Navasha and Hell Gates. Andrew was our safari guide and he is just excellent. He is a great driver, tried to maximise our time during safari so that we could see as much as we possibly could! Andrew was not bored of our 1000s of questions, was very organised and helpful. Highly recommend!

Knowledgeable and caring
I had David as our tour guide and he knew a great deal about all the various animals we saw. He was able to discern the type of animal and its gender from within moments. On top of that he also provided fun little tidbits if information about the animals such as gestation period, migrating habit and pack dynamics. Good communication and comfortable safari
Great experience from the start. Lennox / Cynthia were very responsive during the booking stage and our guide Kevin made sure that our trip was comfortable. We were provided a few accommodation options to choose from based on budget and desired comfort level and very pretty happy with the lodges. Overall there were no surprises and they stuck to the original itinerary promised while booking.
Amazing safari

Locations and weather were all we might have expected - stunning. We chose the luxury accommodations because of our celebration. We were very pleased with Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and the Sarova Woodlands Hotel. Excellent rooms, meals and remarkable as well as pleasant staff.
