5 star experience on the 3-day Masai Mara tour. Msaga was our driver and guided us expertly through the Mara, including one incredible morning where we saw a pride of lions, a cheetah and a leopard. He was very friendly, punctual and communicative. Our accommodation was simple but very clean and pleasant, and the food was great. Zero complaints!

Our safari guide, Yasin Abdi, was excellent!!! His knowledge, patience, and passion for wildlife truly made our experience special. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw an incredible variety of animals, and we loved watching how he and the other guides/rangers worked together to share sightings. He never ceased to amaze us - with his keen eye constantly scanning the horizon and he could even spot a lion or cheetah relaxing under a tree or in a bush, from a distance!! He wouldn’t disclose what he had sighted until we came close to the gorgeous creatures, and then, we were just in awe!! Thanks to Yasin’s expertise, we not only saw the Big 5 and more, but also learned to appreciate the magic of nature and how animals instinctively respond to everything around them.
If you’re planning a safari in Kenya, we cannot recommend Axis Safaris enough and especially Lucy as your Consultant and Yasin as your Guide... This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making it so smooth, exciting, and memorable!

Excellent safari with very knowledgable guide
This was a great safari with excellent value for money. For the price, the accommodation was really comfortable, the food good, and crucially we had a great amount of time in the parks leading to many animal sightings. Our guide, Musalga, was helpful and friendly and very knowledgable.
