Above & Beyond!
We booked a private safari and had Rodgers and Caleb as our tour guides. Cynthia met us at our hotel, and introduced us to Rodgers and Caleb. Read moreestions and truly made our experience so special. We did a 4 night trip, in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and ending in Hells Gate before being returned back to Nairobi. We took every opportunity to get into the parks early and it delivered- cheetahs, lions (with cubs!) and the King himself, elephants (and their babies!), and more pumbas, zebras and giraffes than you can believe! Cycling in Hells Gate was an awesome and unique experience and would highly recommend to anyone. We felt like we had more than enough time in each park and never felt rushed or like we missed out- and again that was partly down to Rodgers and Caleb being so good! The hotels were lovely, particularly the Lake Nakuru Lodge with views of the lake and zebras and Sopa Lodge where we walked within feet of giraffe and zebras- incredible! The food at all the hotels was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful. I can’t give one criticism of this trip, it’s amazing value for money, Rodgers and Caleb were on time for every early morning, and we’ve learnt loads about the animals and Kenya. We honestly had a brilliant time.

Axis Africa is an Excellent, Reliable, reasonably priced Safari tour company in Nairobi. Our guide, Kevin was great. On time, persistent in finding all the animals, getting us close for viewing and photos and was very knowledgable about the animal or bird names. It was top notch. He and the companies service to their guests went beyond expectations. I would highly recommend them.

At the last minute before our trip, the airline changed the flight times, so our time was shortened by half a day, and we had to cover the pre-planned points of the route - Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha with all the activities planned in the program. Lennox offered me the best arrangement of time so that we could experience everything planned even more. With the help of our guides Khalifa and Kikitu, we arranged a visit to a Maasai village on the very first evening upon arrival in the Maasai Mara before sunset. Besides the traditional welcome dance, when the sun went down the Maasai made a big fire especially for us, around which we sat, and they sang and danced for us again.
From my longtime guide and friend Kikitu, who is half Maasai, half Kikuyu, I learned incredible stories about Maasai life and traditions - stories you won't read in books or even on the internet. Khalifa is from Mombasa - a man with an incredible sense of humor, a quick mind and a real passion in the pursuit of unique wildlife footage. Both Kikitu and Khalifa are true "hunters" of wild animal sightings. Trust me, whatever animal you think you've spotted somewhere on the horizon, they've seen it long before you and know exactly what that animal is, while you'll need at least binoculars to spot it. They have a very deep knowledge of the life of the savannah, of the habits and specifics of each type of wild animal.
And last but not least, Kikitu and Khalifa know how to create a unique atmosphere during the trip with their energy. For me and my friends, it was a truly inspiring and invigorating experience.
Thanks to these wonderful people who are a pleasure to work with - Lennox, Kikitu and Khalifa. I will certainly return again with new friends to share more of the wonder of Africa.
I am happy to share my experience and recommend these professionals with big hearts, but I only pray that they always have enough time for me too :)
Reliable and responsive
We did the 4 days trip to Masai Mara and Lake Nakhuru. Albert was a great guide! Always punctual, amazing navigation and showed us the big 5 and so much more. The tour was good value for money, we’re very pleased and grateful for the experience.

Great safari, great driver, great experience
The safari was excellent. Albert was the best driver we could have asked for. He went above and beyond to ensure we see as many animals and we have a great experience in our safari.
Accommodation was adequate but good enough.
But Masai village wasn't anything special so that could have been left out.
But all in all, 5/5!
Amazing, going above and beyond
The experience was amazing, our guide Albert went above and beyond in the tour, did the impossible to make the experience u forgettable and let us see all the animals, he wouldn’t rest until we had seen them all and had the best experience! Fully recommended.

Man this was an amazing trip and we owe it all to our Tour guide Charles aka Charlie Chapman! We made long lasting friendships and shared some special heartwarming moments during the safari.
Extraordinary
A group of 5 of us including a 7 year old and a 73 year old. We had Charles for our guide and had the most unforgettable experience! Charles also made sure to get us perfect views of all of the animals, and clearly knows his way around the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru.
A highlight was visiting the Maasai village. I would highly recommend Axis and Charles! We will never forget this!
