John’s keen eyesight was truly remarkable—he spotted hidden animals long before anyone else in the group noticed them. He went above and beyond to get us as close as possible to the wildlife, creating amazing opportunities for us to see the animals up close. If you want to see lions from the shortest possible distance, John is undoubtedly the guide to request.

Great experience
I and my husband had very good time with Axis Africa Safaris. Good organisation.our Driver is Jack. He is a absolutely professional driver. When in Safari he can drive you very close to animal. You will understand when you at Safari ;)
Organized, clear and friendly service
We had an amazing 3 day 2 nights Safari in Masai-Mara. Our tour guide Papa went above and beyond what was expected of him. We felt safe the entire time while getting to see incredible animals. The booking instructions were clear and the experience high end

Excellent operator with a great safari experience
I recently went on a 3-day safari in the Masai Mara with Axis Africa Safaris, and it was an unforgettable experience! One of the best aspects of this safari was the price—compared to other companies, it was very reasonable and offered great value for money. Despite the affordability, the accommodation and the 4x4 Land Cruiser vehicle were top-notch, on par with much more expensive operators. The ... Read more tent I stayed in was fantastic, with a comfortable queen-sized bed and warm covers—the best sleep I’ve had in weeks! It was also equipped with a personal shower that had warm water and a western-style toilet, which made the stay even more comfortable, all built into your own private tent.
The food at the campsite was delicious, offering a variety of local dishes served buffet-style, and there were plenty of plugs available to charge our devices, which was really convenient.
Our driver, Ken, was a real highlight of the trip. He was not only a skilled driver, navigating the rough roads smoothly and getting us to each destination on time, but he was also incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we had the amazing luck of seeing a wide range of animals, including a rare sighting of two leopards! Some of the highlights were watching lion cubs with their mothers, seeing giraffes at sunset, cheetahs beginning a hunt, and witnessing lions feeding on a buffalo... and so much more. Ken had a keen eye for spotting wildlife and communicated effectively with other drivers to ensure we didn’t miss any key sightings. His friendly and fun personality made the experience all the more enjoyable.
Overall, this was an excellent safari, and I highly recommend Axis Africa Safaris to anyone looking for an affordable yet high-quality adventure in the Masai Mara.

He has a decent knowledge about the animals, area surrounding and the history behind.
Really recommend this agency and if possible, asked them to point Joshua as your guide, you won't regret it.

Our experience with Axis Africa Safaris was next to none, we had a wonderful experience, excellent guide who was so knowledgeable and made the journey and safari very exciting. We started off our journey with Robert ad it was group joining, Alex his knowledge is impeccable, the two days we were with him we learnt a lot from him.

Very knowledgeable and helpful
This experience was very great. Our tour guide Khalifa was great and made sure everything was organized for us. Our days were jam packed with events and we saw so many animals. Would definitely recommend this tour!
