Hell’s Gate National Park is worth visiting throughout the year. Because wildlife watching is not the main attraction here, the weather has little impact upon what you’ll see. Instead, heavy rains can interfere with your activities during the main Wet season months (March, April and May).
June to October Dry Season

Days are sunny and dry, but rarely hot

Dry days are excellent for walking, climbing and cycling

Grass is short and animals gather around water, making them easy to spot

November to May Wet Season
