Wonderful safari with Dennis. Prompt, professional pickup/dropoff, truly amazing safaris in Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara (seeing a cheetah, a few ostriches, a dozen lions including a multi-lion hunt, twenty rhinos, and uncountable numbers of elephants, flamingos, buffalo, hippos, giraffes, zebras, varieties of antelopes, ...). Some points of improvement for the future which don't detract much from the magic of the experience: the radio and phone calls are a bit loud as the guide coordinates with other guides to find the game for you, and the road is quite bumpy/muddy (exacerbated due to rainy season). Otherwise a nearly perfect experience!

I’d thoroughly recommend Axis to anyone thinking of visiting the maasai Mara. I was nervous to go as a solo traveller but I felt completely looked after and comfortable the whole time. I joined a group safari and they couldn’t have made it easier. Picked me up and dropped me off where I was staying and our guide Andrew was brilliant. Fabulous tour - excellent organisation, hotels, safari vehicle and the best guide
I was travelling by myself with my two teenage sons - ages 14 and 13 yrs and this was our first trip to Kenya. We all had an absolutely wonderful time. Axis Africa communicated really well prior to our arrival in Nairobi and everything was super smooth and easy when we arrived. Our tour was really well organized with plenty of variety. My oldest son who pays attention to these things said we had the best vehicle (this matters as quite a few other vehicles were getting stuck in the mud or not able to reach places). And our guide, Khalifa, was the best - he was friendly, helpful, a really competent four wheel driver, excellent at locating and telling us about all the wildlife and just a genuine nice guy.
