Fantastic 4 Day Safari From Nairobi to Diani Beach
We had a fantastic safari booked through Axis Africa. Lennox communicated clearly and helped me to customise the tour to stay at exactly the lodges we wanted. We had a comfortable land cruiser 4x4 for the drive, which had a pop up roof that allowed us to watch the animals safely during the game drives. Khalifa was an awesome guide and driver. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals too. We enjoyed all the lodges but especially Salt Lick and Satao camp in Tsavo which were incredible with their own watering holes that allowed you to see the animals close up. I would definitely book with Axis Africa again and request Khalifa.
Amazing
We did a 3 days safari in the Masai Mara and it was an amazing experience. We had great communication with Lenoxx for organizing the trip. Afterwards, the knowledge and good vibes of the driver Yasin were fundamental to the success of the safari. I truly recommend their services and I would request Yasin again as a guide on a new trip. Hakuna matata!
Incredible Family Experience from start to finish
Axis Africa delivered on every level from ease of booking, communication, value for money, quality, family friendly and flexibility.
We were a group of 6 on a private tour - a family with a 2.5 year old and a 3month old baby. Travelling with young children can be difficult but Axis were so accommodating and answered all our questions prior to booking with ease and clarity which was really rea ... Read moressuring. Axis were able to provide us with a car seat for the toddler and we brought our own for the baby. Our guide Kikatou could not have been more amazing if he tried- he treated us like family and knew safety of the little ones while on the road was important to us. He was so flexible with timings always checking what worked for us and the children but also making us aware of what the best options were so we didn't miss out on anything.
We certainly didn't miss a thing thanks to his amazing knowledge of the land and nature - seeing everything we could have hoped for and more. Seeing the big 5 in the wild really is something. Not only did we get up close to all the animals in the wild but we were also taught so much from Kikatou. No question went unanswered whether it was about the land, the animals, the culture or the places we visited. We had the trip of a lifetime and can't thank Kikatou enough he really made it memorable.
All of the accommodation booked by Axis was extremely accommodating and fully prepped for our arrival cots, spare beds and other requests were ready and waiting meaning we just turned up and enjoyed the experience. The hotels were all lovely, extremely clean, great service and good food which was all included and of great variety for everyone. The drive from each reserve was quite long however there was plenty to look at and Kikatou kept us entertained with interesting information whilst also allowing us space to talk amongst ourselves.
The overall experience was incredible! Value for money - We all said it was the best money we have ever spent. Our 2.5 year old has talked about her adventure and all the animals non stop since we returned as have we.

I highky recommend Axis Africa Safaris to anyone looking for an adventurous yet comfortable trip. Our guide, Moses, took care of us every step of the way and made sure we were well fed, entertained and having fun. Our guide, Moses, took us on a spectacular tour of the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha! Definitely ask for Moses- he was a spectacular driver, knew the answers to all of our (very many) questions, and even arranged picking up some clothes we left at a previous nights’ hotel! I went on a 3-day safari and I’m very impressive. Time flew by. I got to see the beautiful elephans, the authentic zebras and giraffes, the respectful Lion King, the skilful leopard and the cunning Cheetah. Unforgettable safari with an amazing guide (Jimmy)
It was a memorable 5 safari days, passing through Masai Mara, Amboseli and Nakuru. Our guide, Jimmy, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Always available. The lodges were cozy and the people kind. Worth the money, highly recommended!
Unforgettable experience with animals and Jimmy
It was a fantastic experience to meet wild animals in Maasai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. I loved more Maasai Mara because of the emotion and expectation and thanks to Jimmy that did everything to give us luck!! Jimmy was always kind with us and very responsible and drove well for so many hours… We felt safe with him and happy! The Safari price is fair for what we had!
Amazing tour
My friend and I had an amazing time during this safari tour. Jimmy is an amazing guide, he took all the time for us and everything was possible. He knew a lot about the nature and animals and could tell a lot about them. Very good driver as well!
