Axis did a great job. I was traveling alone (single woman) and was a bit worried, but they handled everything efficiently and professionally. I had asked to be put in a group that had other women and they did that. They arranged pick up and drop to my place of stay, which was well coordinated.
The Masai Mara Safari was out of this world and special shout out to James - our guide. He was wonder ... Read moreful and made sure we saw ALL the animals possible. He also took good care of us and his driving skills are beyond impressive.

We had a very cool guide called Kevin who took care of us in Masai Mara. The visit to the Masai Village was the highlight together with watching the incredible animals. Watching the lions, giraffes, zebras and elephants in their natural habitat was a surrealistic feeling. I'm very happy with Axis and as reviews can tell a very reliable company that put your satisfaction at first.

Amazing 3 days / 2 nights in the Maasai Mara
We had the best time during these 3 days in the Maasai Mara. Our driver, James was very knowledgeable and he did everything to see all kinds of animals and to comfort us. We stayed at the Sankale camp where the hosts were also very nice, and the food was good. We used the shower and the toilet in our tent and we felt secure at all times. We recommend this "budget tented camp" option if you are OK ... Read morewith sleeping close to nature (you can hear all kinds of animals during the night) and if you are willing to be a bit off-line (there is only 2x2 hours when electricity is available, however, we had 4G at all times). The car (4x4) was very comfortable, the full day at the Mara was once in a lifetime experience. We saw about 20 kinds of animals, sometimes only half a meter away from the car. We also visited a Maasai village which was also a very good experience, we didn't feel pushed to buy things, and they liked that they were very honest about how the modern Maasai live (e.g. with smartphones and internet access).
Safari with Kevin
We just completed a 5 day safari with Axis Africa and our tour guide was Kevin. The trip was made incredibly easy and comfortable with Kevin as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and informative about all the different species of animals. I would highly recommend booking with Axis but in particular Kevin as the tour-guide plays such an important role in the trip.
Perfect for a first time safari.
Axis were great to communicate with from the start and catered for all my requests. Kevin the driver was fun, easy going and knowledgeable. It was a magical experience and we got to see loads, I could have stayed longer.

Great crew. Our driver and tour guide Andrew did a great job. Very nice chilled guy who made the journey smooth and we were happy to see many many animals in Masai Mara in little time.

AWESOME
I absolutely loved our Axis Safari!! Our tour guide was incredible and we got to see and experience sooo much! The whole thing felt so surreal, the highlights we’re seeing some lions eat a giraffe and be with elephants during the sunset. The tour company was super responsive and helpful when booking and we had amazing accommodations. I LOVED MY SAFARI
