Unfortunately, my flight was delayed for eight hours and I arrived in Nairobi around 10 pm. I messaged the company at about 11 pm to book a safari tour for the next morning—very last minute—and the staff still replied promptly, making sure I didn’t miss my plans.

Everything about the tour was well-organized. The only issue was on the last day: since our schedule was different from the rest of the group and they had returned a day earlier, the company sent different cars to pick us up, which resulted in us switching vehicles three times. This part was a bit uncomfortable, but overall the tour was great and everything went according to plan.
They are a very reliable tour company, and everyone I interacted with from their team was genuinely kind and trustworthy.

**Let me say this first- whether you go budget or luxury you see the same animals**
Wonderful safari for the 4 day/3 night “budget tented camp”. The camp was more than what I expected. Clean, canvas tents with an attached bathroom and warm shower.
On game drives, my driver (Jose) was wonderful. Pleasant, knowledgeable, and incredible guide/tracker. We were able to see 4/5 big 5 in Maas ... Read moreai Mara and then saw the last of the big 5 (the rhino) at Lake Nakuru.
Also to note, the vehicle (the Land Cruiser) was very comfortable and outfitted well for photography. With a full vehicle (7 people) it did not feel crowded. The roof pops open and windows slide open for wildlife spotting. Every morning we showed up to the vehicle cleaned and washed.
All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this safari and Axis Safaris. As a solo traveler I felt their communication was great and I felt safe the entire time.

Rodger is a fantastic and professional safari driver. We did the Masai Mara 3 Day Group Safari and loved every second of his safari. Very knowledgeable about all the animals and provided some amazing views too. Axis is worth every penny!

Thanks to him, we managed to see all of the Big Five, as well as a cheetah, and truly immerse ourselves in the rich flora and fauna of Kenya. We felt completely safe throughout the journey.

It was a incredible experience that was facilitated by knowledgeable, kind and experienced staff.
I had a wonderful trip with my family. We decided on a private safari which was an excellent choice and made the experience more tuned to our needs. Though I have no doubt that they would provide the same level of service, expertise and kindness in all setting. Our guide Raymond made sure we saw the big 5 and numerous other animals. If you get the chance ask for him, he really worked hard and made our experience a once in a lifetime trip. We stayed at Mara Mashi lodge and it was everything we hoped for and more. Rooms where comfortable and luxurious, food was excellent and the staff was incredibly kind and everyone went the extra mile to ensure our stay was amazing. We then moved to Sopa Lodge in Lake Nakaru which was such an incredible park and the lodge was fantastic. Views where out of this world.
A day trip took us to lake Navishka and it was amazing to walk crystal island.. do not miss out on walking with giraffe, Zebra and wildebeest and even seeing hippos from a safe distance... amazing. We stopped at the small Cafe on the island had one of the best Thai coffees since I was in Thailand.
Every detail was handled by Axis ( Phillip, thanks so much) and Raymond and I cant recommend them enough.
