His sharp eye for spotting animals and his knowledge made every sighting more meaningful, and his humor and warmth made the drives a joy.
On the logistical side, there were a few things that could be improved by the operator. On the way back, the drive ended up being 5 hours instead of the expected 2 to Lake Nakuru, as we had to drop other people off first. The vegetarian lunch boxes also could have been better, as they didn’t really include much protein. That said, the hotels along the way were good, and overall Tom’s guiding made this safari truly unforgettable.
