Funny, informative and always a great time!!
We did our trip from friday to sunday. Got picked up as planned in the morning, had a smooth ride to the destination with a few stops on the way for toilet breaks, views and sovenier shopping. No lunch on the way so when arriving to the lodge we were very hungry! Had a lovely game drive in the afternoon till 6.30 pm when the park closes. Greatly enjoyed
I came here while knowing that it is a driver which decides if safari tour is fun or not, and in that sense I greatly enjoyed the tour thanks to the driver guide Yasin. His hospitality is very good to all and it helped a lot that he can talk with my mother language Japanese too. Joyfull experience with JOE
It was a mesmerizing experience at Masai Mara with our excellent guide Joe. To have a great experience at the mara it is important to have the right guide which can make or break your experience. Luckily our guide was very knowledge and took care very well of all in the group. When you book safari with Axis, ask for Joe as your guide.

Safari? Axis with Jimmy or nothing
I don’t know where to start because the overall experience was unbelievable! The preparation of the Safari was flowless with the help of Lenox. A driver was waiting for us at the airport to bring us to our tour guide. That is where we met Jimmy, he was very welcoming and explain how the Safari will work. He is a very experienced guide and was always happy to answer our questions even if we had a ... Read more lot! Thanks to his experience we manage to see plenty of animals (including big 6) with a detailed explanation on their habits. Through out the entire Safari Jimmy was of great help and always in a good mood. We could definitely see that he is passionate about was he is doing. The price of the Safari is very low compare to the quality of the experience. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you want to live the best Safari experience. Reliable and efficient
Had a great safari experience with Axis. They were always very clear and transparent about the costs, the options to enhance the safari and even were flexible with me allowing me to be picked up on the way to Maasai Mara. And the experience itself was great, we spotted most of the animals we aimed to see. The accomodation provided was also fine.
The only thing to improve would be to be more recep ... Read moretive about all customers needs. I was a solo traveller who joined a larger group, which clearly had paid more, so in some occasions they were the only ones being listened to about plans to do and places to go.
Other than that, wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this operator.
3 day budget tour - had a great time!!
We went on the 3 day budget safari to Maasai Mara with Axis and had Dennis as our guide. We had amazing time and Dennis was a great driver and took us around to see so many animals in the park. He really knew what he was doing! He was also very accommodating to the needs of the people in the group. We couldn’t have wished for anything else.

The accommodation in Maasai Mara was simple but worked fine for the duration of our trip. The food was usually really good, although the lunch boxes during the second day was disappointing as it consisted of some chips, fruit and a yogurt. As the safari on the second day lasted for 10 hours (which we loved) we were going hungry with only snacks for lunch…
Overall great value for money and we’re very happy we chose to go with Axis!
