We had a very comfortable trip with Axis africa safaris. All the accommodation provided were clean, safe and comfortable. Out guide through the safari Johnny jackson was very capable and helpful. We were able to spot the big fives within 4hrs since the start of our safari, thanks to Jonny’s experience. He also helped in getting us a closeup shot of a cheetah and a leopard.

We had the best experience we could hope for thanks to our guide, David. He went to great lengths to give us an unforgettable time. His knowledge and experience as a guide is exceptional and I can only add that this is highly recommended tour to book!

Our guide, Ahmed, was the heart of this journey and made it truly unforgettable. He exceeded every expectation we had—always on time, approachable, friendly, and endlessly patient. His English was excellent, so communication was never an issue, and he was very knowledgeable not only about wildlife but also about local culture, which gave us a much deeper appreciation of the places we visited. Thanks to him, we saw an incredible variety of animals and learned so much along the way.
What stood out most was Ahmed’s passion for his job—you could feel how much he genuinely loves what he does every time we went out on a game drive. He always went the extra mile to fulfill our wishes and to make sure we had the best possible experience. On top of being an exceptionally safe driver, he has a wonderful personality: kind, fun, easy to talk to, and someone who felt more like a friend than just a guide.
We simply enjoyed every moment of this trip with him and can’t imagine a better guide. We would absolutely come back and do this safari again in a heartbeat, and without hesitation, we’d choose Axis and especially Ahmed. If you’re considering a safari, look no further—this is the team you want by your side.

Fantastic game drives
Before the trip the team was cert easy to communicate with and answered all our questions and needs.
Our tour guide/driver Raymond was one th best game drivers. Knows all the right spots at the parks, drive very safely and very knowledgeable about the wildlife. He is one funny guy that brought a lot of energy to this group.
We choose the 4 nights, 5 days trip which was perfect balance allowing us to visit the masai mara, nakuru lake, naivasha lake and hells gate. We had a combination of game drive, walking safari and cycling safari.
I would recommend to go for the luxury option, as the basic hotels are a bit too basic. For me it was ok, but I know it wouldn't work for some people.

Great Experience with amazing team
The safari was wonderful. Thanks to our guides Peter and Daniel, we were able to enjoy a great adventure through Kenya, full of magical moments, breathtaking landscapes, and memories that will stay with us forever. We managed to see all the animals, and Peter was very dedicated in making sure we got the best photos. Without a doubt, I would recommend doing the safari with them.

What an experience it was!
Our driver, Kelvin, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife in Kenya. He has been the constant that has made our trip so memorable. I cannot sing his praises highly enough.

We didn’t know what to expect when we came to Kenya but we are blown away by our experience - the culture, the wildlife, the people - they have all ignited a fire for Africa in us!
The hotels have been nothing short of amazing! Our favourite hotel was Sopa in Naivasha but Sarova in the Masai Mara was incredible too. Sopa Lake Nakuru is where we are rounding off our trip and the views are breath taking!
Kelvin, Cynthia and the rest of the team at Axis Africa have made our honeymoon an adventure to remember. When we get home we are going to tell all of our friends to book through you guys because, simply, the trip has been nothing short of astonishing!
