You get a good value for your money. Very reliable, excellent communication with the custumers. Only they moght sometimes slighty change a few things on the scheduel. Overall a very good experience. Jef, our tour operator, was an excellent guide.
Excellent team
One of the best tour companies you can rely on. They offer a variety of accommodation options, and our safari tours were with driver Jeff, who was extremely professional, respectful, and courteous. He made our trip very enjoyable, as he had extensive knowledge and strong experience in locating wildlife and knowing the best places to find animals.
Our operator Jeff did everything he could to give us the experience we wanted.

Well organized & kind
I’ve spent 3 days on safari with Axis and my journey was well organized, kind and spectacular combined with a fair price in total.
Especially Robert, our guide, did his best to ensure that everyone feels comfortable, tried to get the animals we wanna to see, and had many background information about the animals.
Was a great experience. Definitely recommend it!

Axis Africa provided very well detailed information about the trip. Always responsive on WhatsApp to answer any questions. Our driver and guide was Amos. He is an amazing driver and knows every corner of Masai Mara. We saw amazing wildlife
Trip of a Lifetime
Jack was our guide and he was amazing. We visited both Massai Mara and Lake Nakuru and everything was better than expected. The communication from Axis prior to the tour was great, including the itinerary of the trip. Payment expectations were clear, with both cash and card/transfer options available.

We opted for the mid-range package however when we arrived, it was definitely undersold!
Jack was the main man of the tour. Knowledgeable, professional but also passionate. We did a lot of driving but he still kept us educated (not just animals) and we even saw the Big 5!. He ensures you get the best view possible whilst he at the same time gives a respectable distance to ensure the animals are not distressed.
Overall, I would definitely recommend both the company and Jack if you are lucky enough to get him.
Amazing Experience
We had an amazing safari with Jack in June 2026, visiting Massai Mara and Lake Nakuru. From speaking to the organisers beforehand, arranging payment in the office and everything with Jack on the safari, everything was so well organised. Communication was great at all times both before and during the safari. The roads are rough (as expected!) but the spacious jeep and Jack's excellent driving made ... Read moreus feel safe and comfortable throughout. We were 7 in one jeep and had plenty of space.
We opted for the mid-range accomodation which honestly felt more like luxury. Food was great and the organisation was better than I have experienced anywhere, where each place was ready to show us to our lodge before we even arrived.
We chose to do the optional visit to the Massai Village which was interesting, but quite eye-opening.
In regards to the safari, it was an experience of a lifetime. Jack ensured we found all the big 5 plus many more, and he taught us lots about not just the animals, but also birds, plants and different types of tree. He also pointed out interesting places on the journey there. Jack clearly takes pride in what he does, and showed us the animals in a legal and ethical way, getting close but without getting in the way or blocking the paths of any of the animals.
I will be recommending Axis and Jack to everyone I know!
