Great experience overall. Good service, reasonable price, and a great first safari experience. The vehicle was not very comfortable and could use new shock absorbers. I had a much better ride in another vehicle on the way back. Would definitely recommend!

Saddam is very knowledgeable and understands the Maasai Mara incredibly well. He is also well connected with other guides in the reserve, which made a big difference during our game drives. We were extremely lucky to see lions, a group of lionesses, lion cubs, a leopard, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and many more beautiful animals.
What impressed me the most was his ability to spot wildlife and understand exactly where to take us. At times, I was genuinely amazed at how he could identify the exact location and get us there at the right moment. Thanks to his experience and efforts, I was able to capture some of the best photographs and videos of our entire trip.
The driving was smooth, the journey was comfortable, and every game drive was exciting. Saddam was always patient, supportive, and willing to make the extra effort to give us the best possible experience.
I must say, Saddam is one of the best guides you could have for a Maasai Mara safari.

An Unforgettable Safari with the Best Guide, Peter
This was my second time meeting Peter Kapino, and I feel incredibly lucky to have had him as my guide again. After spending more time with him on safari, I can honestly say that he is the best guide I have met during my trip in Kenya.
Peter is extremely professional, experienced, patient and knowledgeable about wildlife. He knows the area very well and always seemed to understand where the animal ... Read mores might appear. Thanks to his experience and effort, we managed to see almost all of the iconic animals that I had hoped to see during the safari. He never rushed us and always gave us enough time to observe the animals, enjoy the scenery and take photos.
What impressed me most was how dedicated he was throughout the whole trip. He was always attentive, friendly and willing to help, and he made the long game drives enjoyable and comfortable. You can really tell that he knows and loves his work.
The highlight of the entire safari came on the final day, when we were incredibly lucky to witness the wildebeest crossing the river. It was something I had really hoped to see, but I knew there was never any guarantee because wildlife is unpredictable. Being able to experience such an unforgettable moment at the very end of the trip made the safari even more special.
I am extremely grateful to Peter for giving us such a memorable experience. If I come back to Kenya for another safari in the future, I would absolutely be happy to travel with him again. I highly recommend Peter Kapino and Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris to anyone who wants an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya.

We had a great time at Amboseli with our driver/guide Pilipili. Pilipili was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We saw lots of herds of elephants close up and the views of Kilimanjaro were fantastic.
