Unforgettable Kenya Safari : Spotting the big 5 & ugly 5 with Axis Africa safaris
Flying to Kenya for a safari was a dream! Tabitha from booking provided flawless service, patiently crafting our custom itinerary. In the wild, our expert guide, Raymond—a master driver and spotter—helped us amazingly spot the Big 5 and Ugly 5 all in one day!
Papa John made a huge effort to cover the big 5/9 then took his time for specials.

After one day in Maasai Mara we already covered the big 9 with quality pictures. Still our guide tried his best to improve the experience with a breast feeding lioness and her cubs or a hunting scene with jackass and thomson gazelles.

The great accomodation in Enkorok Mara Camp was a big surprise as our tent was very spacious and had all the comfort. We received for every meal a buffet selection, which offered something for each age, style and taste and our vehicle was always stuffed with bottled water. Aside of the beautiful pictures I take even better memories.

I joined the 4 days Maasai Mara & Lake Nakuru Safari. Our guide Kelvin is very helpful and well experienced in the game drive. We saw lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant.... and most amazingly I watched the live hunt by lion on a wildebeest within one day. Thanks to the swift action and professionalism of Kelvin and some luck. Strongly recommend

Great experience, Axis , Rita and professional guides Sadam and John were top professionals. Mara CHUI a well kept nice lodge, the food may be improved though. Despite maximum courtesy and attention from the restaurant staff, it dimmed the whole experience a bit, nothing serious though. Thanks to all of you.
Once in a Lifetime Experience
We spent 7 days on Safari with Axis Safaris and visited 4 different national parks/areas for Safari. It was an unforgettable experience getting to witness lots of animals up close and managed to tick off the Big 5! The journeys are long between each of the different areas, but ample bottles of water were provided which really helped for those hot days. Roger was a great guide and managed to get us ... Read more into the best spots to see/take photos of the animals. His knowledge of each animal and area was exceptional and we learned a lot from him! The itinerary was clear from the beginning and helped us to see what each day would hold. Roger would also communicate with us the day before what the day would look like so we were prepared. He would also ensure we were all okay to move on from different animal sighting spots around the parks before he drove off, and always ensured there were enough rest stops/bathroom breaks during the long days.
One small area that could improve would be for Roger to ensure he asked all of our names from the beginning and also found out a few things about us during our time with him. This would have made the tour even more personal.
Apart from that, the whole experience was amazing, and a trip I will never forget!
