Wonderful tour experience in Ethiopia
We had a wonderful 14-day tour in northern and southern Ethiopia with Ethio Top Land Tours. From the first day, Lamesegn and his team warmly welcomed us and gave us an amazing city tour by jeep.
From the second day, we started the long journey and experienced something new every day. We were very lucky that Lamesegn rearranged the itinerary so we could visit Lalibela during Ethiopian Christmas. Celebrating Christmas there was truly exceptional and unforgettable.
Everything was well organized, and the tour ran smoothly. My visit to Lalibela was an absolute highlight of my trip to Ethiopia. The famous rock-hewn churches completely exceeded all expectations.
A huge part of what made this experience so special was our guide. His knowledge was incredible; he didn't just recite facts but told captivating stories about the history, symbolism, and legends of each church. He was exceptionally attentive and caring throughout the entire tour—ensuring everyone was safe on the uneven paths, checking if we needed breaks, and answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm.

Amazing half-day tour for tourists doing long stops at Bole Airport!
My friend and I had an 8-hour stop at Bole airport, so we decided to explore the city during the day and see a bit of Ethiopia. We're SO glad we did it. We booked a tour with Ethio Top Land Tours, they picked us up at the airport, our guide's name was Salamilak, he spoke perfectly good English and was so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. We visited the National Museum of Ethiopia, Mount Entoto, had a delicious Injera lunch, met some local kids who were super welcoming, and finished visiting the Mercato.
The whole tour was a smooth ride, and our guides were the best. Can't recommend it enough, Ethiopia and Addis Ababa are so worth visiting. It instilled in us a desire to visit the country in the future to explore it in more depth. Thanks for an amazing day guys!

Addis Ababa city tour
I took the Addis Ababa city tour which covered the Mercato Market , Entoto Maryam Church and the National Museum. I was the only person in the tour and so they used a car for the trip. The driver and the guide (Mr Lamesgn) were both courteous and professional. The tour will last about three to four hours depending on the traffic. The guide was very conscientious and explained everything in detail. You can get a true insight in to Ethiopia by having conversation with him. The mercato is very chaotic and may not be suitable for small children but will give you insight into Ethiopian psyche. The guide can adjust the mercato tour according to your preference. The Maryam church was very interesting and I got some insights how Ethiopia escaped colonization after visiting this church. The national museum contains the skeletal remains of our ancestor Lucy and it is really a great feeling taking a selfie with her. Addis Ababa is somewhat a chaotic city and I believe a safe and reliable guided tour is recommended especially for a first time visitor. I beleive this tour fulfilled that role

Originally, we had booked a 10 day tour, but thanks to the flexibility of the tour company, they arranged for a 14 day adventure that allowed us to see even more of this beautiful country.
Upon arrival at the airport, we were warmly welcomed by Lamesgn, who made sure we felt right at home. He greeted us with a thoughtful gift a hand woven cotton scarf and transferred us to our hotel in comfort. We were impressed by his kindness and knowledge, which set the tone for the rest of our journey.
The city tour with Lamesgn was fantastic! He not only showed us the highlights of Addis Ababa but also shared fascinating insights into Ethiopia's rich culture and history. We felt so fortunate to be guided by such a brilliant and passionate local. In the evening, Lamesgn invited us to a delightful dinner at Abyssinia Restaurant, where we enjoyed traditional Ethiopian food in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.
For the next 13 days, Abel and Tilahun guided us through incredible places like Awash, Bale, Simien Mountains, and Omo Valley. We saw amazing wildlife, including rare animals and birds, and learned about the cultures of local tribes in Omo Valley.
The entire tour was well planned, flexible, and filled with incredible experiences. Highly recommend this tour company.
