Good
3/5

Pros:Emma was fantastic in getting the itenary for our large group of 12 people.
Competitive price. Good hotels and fantastic food were selected.

Biggest drawback: We were provided two vehicles and two drivers for a group of 12 people
Adam was fantastic and the vehicles quality was very good.
Second vehicle provided was of very poor quality..The roof in the front was not opened the first day claiming its not safe as it was not in good condition..
Radio communication was not working hence we were depending entirely on Adams vehicle for navigating to the correct spots..
There was breakdown of the vehicle twice with problem in the same type..we had to spend our valuable game drive time in car garage to fix them.
Thankfully the final breakdown of vehicle happened 100 metres from the airport (our final ride). If this had happened in middle of the game reserve it would have been a big disaster.
Car breakdowns can happen but providing vehicle in substandard quality was not ideal.
Special thanks to Adam for making this trip memorable....

Reliable, responsive, and perfect for first-time safari
5/5

We’re a group of 5 girls on our very first trip to Africa, and for some of us, our first safari ever. We were nervous and had no idea who to choose, so we researched and compared the operators with the most reviews. Jocky stood out — and the reviews turned out to be completely true. They were super responsive, responsible, and reliable throughout.

We traveled during peak season, so prices were high and accommodation was tight. There was a small hiccup — the quote we’d been given was no longer available when we went to confirm. But David and his team found us a happy solution, and in the end we all agreed the whole experience was worth the money.

Safety was our biggest concern as an all-girl group, and we felt completely safe and cared for the entire time. We had a private group, which made everything more comfortable. David arranged an amazing guide for us — Michael, who has over two decades of safari experience. It shows. He knows everyone, which means he knows where the animals are, the best spots, and how to catch the interesting sightings. His driving was impressive too — bumpy at times, but the “African massage” was never too rough!

Our jeep was a Land Cruiser with a roof that opens, so we could see clearly and without eating too much dust. Michael struck a perfect balance between sharing his knowledge and letting us simply enjoy nature. He answered all our questions patiently, and you could really feel his love for the land and his animal friends. He always worked to get us a clear view while minimizing disturbance to the wildlife.

Over 3 days and 2 nights, we saw so much: zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, warthogs, and many kinds of antelope, plus sleeping lions, a cheetah, and several other cats. We didn’t catch the wildebeest crossing the river, but we did see them lined up across the savanna — an unforgettable scene, especially at sunset.

We stayed at Enkorok Mara Camp — a wonderful place. We were put in the new building, in a family room connecting two rooms with a shared common area. Hot showers, great food. We loved it.

Two honest tips: peak season means lots of animals, but also lots of jeeps, so expect crowds around the sightings. And be ready — it gets very dusty!

We couldn’t have asked for a better first safari. Thank you, David and Michael!

It's very kindness and When I asked questions, the replies were quick
5/5

I recently went on a safari tour in Tanzania’s Serengeti and was extremely satisfied with the experience.

Whenever I had questions, the tour company responded very quickly, and the pickup arrangements were perfect.

Despite offering very reasonable prices, the company provided a high-quality safari experience. They were also very open to feedback and said they would take our suggestions into consideration and make improvements where possible.

If you’re considering going on a safari, I highly recommend this tour company!

Extraordinary experience, we loved it!!
5/5

Our 6-day safari was absolutely extraordinary! Each park we visited had its own unique qualities, which made the overall experience incredibly special.

We went in August and had the privilege of witnessing the Great Migration, with thousands of zebras and other animals on the move. It was truly spectacular! We also saw many other animals, often from incredibly close distances, which made the experience even more unforgettable.

We also had the best guide we could have asked for. She provided top-notch service throughout the entire safari and went above and beyond to make our trip exceptional. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

I would give our overall experience a solid 10 out of 10. It was an unforgettable adventure, and I would definitely recommend it!

End to End lifetime Kenya experience tour operator
5/5

Our family had an incredible safari experience in Kenya with Viega Expeditions, and we could not rate them more highly.

A massive thank you to Rodgers, whose communication with me and planning of our itinerary even before we arrived in Kenya ensured for a seamless experience. He made sure that everything is communicated properly and took the entire ownership himself and he was reachable anytime I wanted irrespective of the hours.

On our first day, our tour was laid out to us clearly by Rodgers, whose friendliness, professionalism and attention to detail made the whole experience stress-free.

Our safari tour guide, Thomas, was truly exceptional. His knowledge and passion for the wildlife in both Amboseli and Masai Mara made every game drive memorable, as he shared fascinating insights that made each sighting so special. His excellent spotting skills ensured that we were able to spot the Big Five, as well as come out of the national parks with a new love for animals and conservation. Thomas is a very lovely person and he always wanted to give us the best and made the entire experience more special and enjoyable.

If you're looking for a well organised safari with outstanding service and guiding, Viega Expeditions is the perfect choice. Cant thank enough to both Rodgers and Thomas. They are the core of Viega and we would love to travel more.

An Unforgettable VIP Safari & Zanzibar Experience with Madini Africa Adventure!
5/5

My wife and I recently returned from an incredible 11-day private safari and beach trip to Tanzania, organized by Madini Africa Adventure, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! The entire trip was arranged at a true VIP level from start to finish.

From day one, the level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail was top-notch. A massive, heartfelt thank you goes to Benaiah Chaulah, our sales manager and main point of contact. Benaiah is an absolute lifesaver and a true professional. Before we even arrived, she went above and beyond for us—literally going in person to the immigration office early in the morning to solve an urgent visa issue on our behalf, saving our entire trip!

Beyond making our anniversary trip seamless, Benaiah surprised us with a first-class birthday gift and celebration, which was such a thoughtful, personal, and heartwarming touch!

A special thank you goes to our extraordinary safari guide and driver, Eric! Eric's eagle eyes, vast knowledge of the parks, and endless patience allowed us to experience the absolute best of Tanzania's wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five—including rare black rhinos, leopards up close, lions, and the Great Migration!

Every single detail—from the private game drives, the stunning Hot Air Balloon ride, to our top-tier resorts in Zanzibar—was perfectly coordinated.

If you are planning a trip to Tanzania, look no further than Madini Africa Adventure. Ask for Benaiah and request Eric as your guide for a VIP experience of a lifetime. Asante sana, Benaiah, Eric, and the whole team, for an unforgettable adventure!

5/5 – Highly recommended!

Kind and helpful
5/5

Daisy from Bonfire was extremely helpful! She was very available, especially when I was planning from a different timezone and responded to my questions. The organization for the safari was also great. I stayed at the Ol-Moron tented camp and the staff were lovely, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the safari drives were amazing. Highly recommend!

Amazing Safari Experience
5/5

This truly was a trip of a lifetime with Lion King Adventures. One of the most important things for your trip will be your Safari Guide and we could not have asked for anyone better than John. With him we were able to see the Big 5, the Ugly 5, the Great Migration, Migration Crossing at the Mara River, and so much more. We visited Tarangire, Central and Northern Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and lastly Lake Manyara. John was always willing to take pictures with us and really worked hard to make sure we were always safe and happy. One very important thing was seeing how friendly John was with the other Safari drivers - he always greeted others kindly and it was great to see him very willing to help another guide/group in need and it just as great to receive help and friendliness from other guides/groups as well. It really enhanced our experience having a guide with such a good heart. (Special shout out to Paul with Matoke Tours and Benjamin with Lion King Adventures for their kindness)

Lion King Adventures has it's own accommodations in Central Serengeti called "Nyota Serengeti" (which means Serengeti Star, btw) and one of our very few regrets was not staying here longer. Nyota truly felt like a luxury in the middle of the Serengeti - we had running hot water, amazing meals, wifi (about as good as you can expect being so remote), a pool, a spacious room, indoor/outdoor shower, a deck and also you can (sometimes) very clearly hear lions and hyenas very nearby. The staff there were the nicest of all of our accommodations the whole trip. Our friend Isaya escorted us to and from our tent each morning and night, armed with the necessary equipment to keep predators away.

I was very interested in learning as much Swahili as I could while I was there and John very kindly helped me with this goal - he always would find interesting words or phrases that I could learn that were related to Safari and he was such a friendly teacher to also encourage me to use the new words. It was such a short time there but it felt so much longer and we didn't want it to end; we are legitimately so sad for the trip to be over. This will certainly not be the last time we visit Tanzania. We love this country and will miss Tanzania, the Senrengeti, and our brother and friend, John.
