Our experience was amazing. All the people before starting safari were really ki d and nice, trying to give us the best. Price was good fpr what we got. The safari itself is best, especially Masai Mara!!!

Very professional and knowledgeable tour operator
We are so pleased we booked with MJ Safaris and Adventure. They picked us up from the airport 2 days before our hike so we stayed an extra night at the hotel that they chose. The Maridadi hotel has great food, great rooms and a lovely clean pool. They met us the next day for our briefing and to give us our duffle bags with included sleeping bags. All the support staff were amazing, Silvano, Nicholas, Kelvin and Benjamin plus the porters who have a tough job. The food they provided was really good, nice flavours and more than enough to give you energy, they couldn't do more for you. The mountain huts were basic but comfortable and we had a 4 person bunk room for the two of us and we want to thank them for looking after us so well. The hike was amazing, as per other tour operators, it included Little Meru on day 2 in the afternoon which is well worth doing. The summit day we set off at half past midnight and got to the summit to see the sunrise over Kilimanjaro, this was beyond expectations. the summit day is tough but well worth the effort for an amazing experience and stunning scenery not to mention the sense of achievement as this is not a small mountain! You should feel confident booking with MJ Safaris as they delivered in all aspects better than we imagined and were actually better value than most and at the end of the day everyone is on the same route and same accommodation.

Fantastic Mt Kenya Trek!
A truly fantastic four day Mt Kenya trek. It was incredibly well organised with fantastic communication. Itinerary was perfect, allowing me to see both sides of the mountain. Amazing guides and the food was incredible. John, the owner, went above and beyond and provided pick up and drop off to my Nairobi accomodation. Would 100% recommend Keshi Tours, owned and operated by local Kenyans who have years worth of experience in the industry.

excellent, full of surprises
the Safari was full of surprises, we were luckily enough to see all the animals including "the big five". of course that's because of our guide Jamie's excellent work. The price is fine, and the food and living is also fine. the experience was excellent.

Our guide provided the most knowledgable amazing trip of a lifetime
Early Kingfisher Safaris delivered a fantastic experience Every day was even better than the previous one and the first day we saw elephants giving themselves mud baths, lions along the road, herds of Impala and a Cheetah and her 2 “teenage” cubs, all before we arrived at our first campsite. Our guide was so knowledgable and even with all the close observation of wildlife I always felt safe. The accommodation's were so comfortable and our chef prepared the most delicious meals. Our staff was so attentive. The safari tent had a carpet on the floor, comfortable beds, true glamping. My trip of a lifetime has turned into how can I come back for more with this wonderful company.

Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris exceeded our expectations and Kelvin was the best!
Let me start from the very first day when our driver picked us up from our hotel. He was friendly and helpful. Upon arriving at the Axis Africa office, we were briefed on our 5-day tour, making sure we were fully aware of our itinerary. That’s when we met our guide, Kelvin.
He brought plenty of bottled water for the entire trip, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Throughout the tour, he always made sure we were never hungry or thirsty.
One thing I really liked about Kelvin was how dedicated he was to finding animals. At one point, I was wondering why there were no other safari vehicles around in the Masai Mara, but I later realized he was taking us to the areas where he believed we had the best chance of spotting wildlife. Even from a distance, he could spot animals with incredible accuracy. It definitely showed how experienced he is as a safari guide.
On our very first day, we were already lucky enough to spot the elusive leopard and cheetah. Throughout the tour, Kelvin always made sure we had the best possible views of the animals. We had so many safe close encounters with lions and giraffes, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Every day, he would ask how we were, how we slept, and how the food was. He was consistently thoughtful, kind, and attentive.
Thank you, Kelvin, for taking such good care of us and for always going above and beyond what was expected. We would definitely recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris and especially Kelvin to our family and friends.
