Balu Travel Focussed on shopping rather than Safari
Balu Travel safari agency cared more about shopping than animal viewing. We had a long (more than 30min) shopping stop everyday, even inside the natural park and this one was at 9am!! just during the best time for animal viewing. Meeting times with the driver James were always late. On the ongoing trip from Nairobi we had to wait for 1h for some supplies which were not picked up in Nairobi. The safari started at 8am when other agencies start 6-7am for better chances of game viewing. The driver James spent most of the time at the phone, didn't explain anything, no comments and explanations about animals, only the passenger next to him could hear him, he only talked when asked and mostly responded with shortest answers possible. The driver James wasn't friendly. One visitor was curious and liked to ask questions, driver wasn't friendly with him, seemed he didn't want to respond or talk, it was very uncomfortable. Everything seemed rushed, the most important thing was stopping at selling points even inside the park. Afternoon game drive was very rushed, he just wanted to show the river and the Tanzanian border, try to finish as early as possible and no interest at all for animals. Visitors had to ask to stop and to get closer to animals because the driver wanted to finish the safari as soon as possible.

Amazing
We spent several days exploring Ngorongoro, Seronera, and the Northern Serengeti with Domi, and it couldn’t have been better. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we came for, including the Big Five and the incredible wildebeest river crossing. His dedication and determination were impressive, and made the most out of our 4 day trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

Domi was an amazing guide from start to finish. He was incredibly patient, friendly, and always took the time to answer all of our questions. You could really tell how much he knows about the wildlife and the parks. He never rushed us and always stopped whenever there was something interesting to see or a great photo opportunity. Thanks to him, we had an unforgettable safari experience. Highly recommend!

An unforgettable 7-day safari with an exceptional guide!
We had an amazing 7-day safari covering Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and the Maasai Mara, and it exceeded all our expectations. I travelled with my mother, and the entire trip was comfortable, well-organized, and truly memorable.
A special thanks to our guide, Yasin, who made the experience exceptional. He is an excellent driver, incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife, and always went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible safari. He patiently answered all our questions, shared fascinating insights about the animals and parks, and constantly communicated with other guides to maximize our sightings.
Thanks to his expertise, we saw all of the major animals we had hoped for. The absolute highlight was witnessing the Great Migration river crossing in the Maasai Mara, the very reason we planned our trip in July. We were incredibly fortunate to watch the crossing privately, with no one around us, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we’ll never forget.
What impressed us even more was Yasin’s flexibility. He adjusted the itinerary and daily timings according to our comfort, suggested better ways to plan certain activities, and ensured we never felt rushed. His experience helped us make the most of every destination while keeping the journey relaxed and enjoyable.
The safari vehicle was also excellent, comfortable, spacious, clean, and perfect for long drives as well as game viewing.
A big thank you as well to Winnie from the sales team. From the very beginning, she was patient, responsive, and understanding. She addressed all our questions and concerns promptly, provided clear explanations, and made the booking process smooth and stress-free.
Overall, this was a perfectly organized safari with outstanding service from start to finish. I would highly recommend axis to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. Thank you, Yasin and Winnie, for making this such an unforgettable experience!

Steve and Landmark Expeditions showed us great hospitality and adventure in the most beautiful place
From the first morning of the safari, we greeted with such welcome and care! Steve from Landmark Expeditions showed us the most amazing places and we could all appreciated his great extent of knowledge and love for Safari! By the end of the trip I was incredibly sad to leave my seat in the Safari vehicle for the last time. Our Landmark Expedition itinerary included several different lodges and camps that I loved each time. One included an amazing view of Mount Kilimanjaro, one awed me with a family of elephants outside our window, and all were above and beyond hospitable with delicious meals without fail!! Everyday we saw an animal doing something new, a new landscape and learned so much. Huge thank you to Steve and Landmark Expeditions for an incredible adventure!!!

Pays Attention to details hence creating perfect memories during the entire trip.
The experience was great, booked hotel was clean,with great food and hotel services.
The tour guide was really patient with us and he made sure the group had at a great experience at all the tour sites.
This was our third time to use Likyadi adventures and as always they gave us excellent services.

This safari with our guide Elias through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro National Parks was an incredible experience.
First, the organization: everything was perfectly planned from the moment my plane landed until my departure. You don’t have to worry about a thing—you simply enjoy the journey. It makes the whole experience incredibly relaxing.
The meals were also excellent, and we never lacked anything. Camping is naturally quite basic: the water is sometimes cold, the bathrooms can be simple and a little dirty after being used by many campers, and there isn’t always an internet connection. But none of this took away from the experience—it was exactly what I expected.
As for what we saw, it was simply breathtaking. The landscapes, the wildlife… Elias did everything he could to ensure we saw the very best that Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro have to offer, while sharing fascinating information about the animals we encountered.
It was an unforgettable experience that I wouldn’t change for anything. Thank you, Elias, and thanks to the entire team for making this amazing adventure possible.

Safari with Sebastian & Brian
The safari was incredible. The guides gave us plenty of information about the animals and took us right up close to them. We were lucky enough to see elephants, leopards, lions, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and many others... We will cherish the wonderful memories of these two days.
