A fantastic trip. We had previously drawn up a detailed plan for our 10-day journey through the parks of southern Tanzania (Mikumi, Ruaha, Nyerere, and Udzungwa). With less than two months' notice, Robert was able to organize a complete safari for us at a very competitive price. Email communication was quick and seamless, allowing us to fine-tune the itinerary based on our preferences and his expert recommendations; we also used WhatsApp when necessary. Once there, everything went exactly as planned—or even better. We were lucky enough to have Samuel as our guide; it is clear that he truly loves his job. We visited all four national parks, staying at a selection of well-chosen lodges and hotels. I would certainly recommend contacting this company if you are planning a trip to southern Tanzania.

Incredible safari!
We had an incredible time with Lion King and our guide Emanuel. We saw multiple lions, cheetahs, rhinos, the Mara river crossing, and a leopard (and all kinds of other stuff). Emanuel is an excellent guide, a very safe driver, very knowledgeable about wildlife and culture, and did a great job spotting and finding animals. Lion King also booked us into some very nice camps, and they were able to accomadate vegetarian with no problem. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Japeth (Jeff), was exceptional throughout our 7-day safari. He was always punctual, attentive to our needs, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about his work, and a fantastic driver. Most importantly, he made sure we were able to see all the animals we hoped to encounter.

Just wrapped up a 6-day safari covering Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara with Peak Season Safari.
Steven handled the planning and logistics seamlessly. Super responsive, knowledgeable, and gave great advice from the start—everything ran like clockwork.
Our guide, Japheth (Jeff), was top tier. His driving on rough tracks was effortless, always on time, and his animal knowledge is unreal. Crucially, he knows exactly where to position the 4x4 Land Cruiser for the best angles and photos. Thanks to him, we ticked off both the Big 5 and the Ugly 5, including rare sightings of a black rhino and a leopard.
The Land Cruiser with the pop-up roof was comfortable and reliable, and the lodges/tented camps hit the sweet spot between mid-range and luxury with amazing ambiance.

A wonderful experience!
Three incredible days on safari through Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. Our guide, Vicktor, was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, making the experience even more meaningful. We were lucky enough to spot the Big Five, along with so many other animals and birds.

Incredible trip with Zohar
Having just completed our Tanzanian trip with Zohar Safaris, I cannot recommend them enough. Every single person that we came into contact with was professional, welcoming and full of knowledge.
Our safari guide, Solomon, was a highly knowledgeable and experienced guide who was able to answer any question thrown at him. He is full of passion for his work and has eyes like a hawk for spotting the animals from miles away! His ability to navigate every path from Arusha to the Serengeti and beyond is simply impressive. He ensured we had some amazing encounters, whilst taking amazing care of us - we always felt safe in his hands!
We had the pleasure of having Lily accompany us on our trip to Materuni Waterfalls, someone who does much of the work behind the scenes! After our car broke down, she had us in another ride in a matter of minutes.. a queen of adapting to any situation! We deeply appreciated the personalised touches that she added to our room on our arrival, and all of the little thoughts along the way.
We finished the trip with a 1-day hike on Kilimanjaro with Imran - an expert on the mountain! This was more than an active day of hiking, but a highly educational and interesting trip. We hope to be back to hike Mount Meru with him!
