Lion King Did a Great Job!
Lion King did a great job with our safari for our honeymoon! They were able to meet all of our planning needs and helped us make changes as problems popped up with our flights. They were super responsive to questions during the planning phase and sent us off with a clear set of guidelines on what to expect. The accommodations they booked for us were great and they were able to get the hotels to add sweet, little touches for our honeymoon (including the custom wine labels in the jeep). The jeep was well kept and as comfortable for the ride as possible given the state of the roads.
The best part of our safari though was our guide Suleiman. He was a rockstar. We were so fortunate to have gotten him for 5 days. He set expectations for each day on what to expect/travel logistics, communicated clearly, was extremely knowledgable about the area/animals, knew all the other guides, and was just an overall great dude. He was able to show us all of the animals we wanted to see multiple times across Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti. Definitely request him if you're booking with Lion King Adventures.

Amazing Safari, Incredible Wildlife, and the Best Guide!
We booked a safari with Suricata Safaris in July 2026, and it was absolutely amazing—truly one of the best trips we have ever taken! Our guide, Ecky, made the experience even more memorable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and had the best personality. We laughed so much throughout the trip, and Ecky was a huge part of what made it so special.
There were 11 people in our group, and Suricata provided two jeeps. We were fortunate enough to have Ecky as our guide. Ennis, who drove the other jeep, was wonderful as well. We didn’t spend as much time with him, but he was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
All of our accommodations were wonderful. The only small issue was that the beds were a little firm for our liking. However, that certainly would not stop me from booking with Suricata again. I would simply bring a mattress topper to make the beds a little softer.
We saw the Big Five and experienced so much of the Serengeti. We booked a seven-day safari, but looking back, I wish we had booked a longer trip. Seven days went by far too quickly, and we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy some of the beautiful lodges and everything they had to offer. If you have the time, I would definitely recommend booking longer than seven days.
One of the absolute highlights of our trip was taking a hot-air balloon ride over the Serengeti. It was probably one of my favorite excursions I have ever done—and I have traveled to more than 30 countries! The balloon stayed at a relatively low altitude, which gave us incredible views of the animals and the landscape below. After the flight, we were treated to a wonderful breakfast. It was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end.
A few people in our group also did a 10-mile hike near Mount Kilimanjaro. The scenery was beautiful, but we made the mistake of doing it the day after arriving. It involved a long drive from Arusha to Kilimanjaro, the hike itself, and then another long drive to our lodge near the Serengeti. It made for an extremely long and exhausting day. If seeing Mount Kilimanjaro is part of your plans, I would strongly recommend arriving a couple of days earlier so you have more time to relax and adjust before doing the hike.
Overall, I highly recommend booking the luxury safari through Suricata Safaris. The entire experience was incredible, and I would absolutely book with them again. And if you’re lucky enough to get Ecky as your guide, you’re in for an amazing time filled with incredible wildlife, unforgettable experiences, and plenty of laughter!

Amazing Safari Experience with Peter
I had a fantastic experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris. The whole trip was well organised, and communication was clear and reliable from the beginning.
A special thanks to our driver and guide, Peter Kapino. He was friendly, professional, patient and very knowledgeable about the wildlife. He always did his best to help us find animals and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the views and take photos. His driving also made the whole journey feel safe and comfortable.
The safari itself was amazing, and everything ran smoothly throughout the trip. Overall, the service was excellent and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris, especially Peter, to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

African Dream
I had a wonderful time. Can recommend Zambezi Quest and Brighton to everyone. It was all very professionally planned. Hotels were nice. We had Gerry as our Tourguide. He was great. He was always on time and made sure that we are happy. He is very knowledgeable. Had trouble with my luggage, which did not arrive and they made sure, that my vacation will go smoothly. Best family vacation with fantastic guide
My group of 7 had the most amazing time in the Masai Mara with Richard and Axis Africa Safaris. The quality of your guide makes or breaks the experience, so it's essential to choose somebody reliable and who you would genuinely enjoy spending hours with each day in the car. Richard is very knowledgeable, patiently answered all of our questions, and went the extra mile (literally!) to show us some of the rarest animals.
The accommodations were all very comfortable, the food was tasty, and overall this was certainly the most special vacation for everybody in our group of 7. It was our first safari and we're already talking about how we want to return!

Incredible wildlife sightings and perfect holiday with Richard, a fantastic Masai guide!
Our group had a wonderful time on our Masai Mara Safari with Axis Africa. We want to specifically thank our guide Richard and organizer Lucy for making the experience so memorable. We went during peak season and were pleasantly surprised that the crowds were fine and there were plenty of animals to see, especially large herds of wildebeest/zebras for the Great Migration.
It makes a big difference to have a local guide, specifically a member of the Masai community. Richard went above and beyond since it was clear that he personally cared about having great wildlife sightings. We are grateful to have seen all of the "Big 5" animals including the rare leopard and black rhino. Nothing was rushed and we had a comfortable experience throughout.
We also appreciate that Axis Africa was able to curate the itinerary to fit our precise needs as a group. We absolutely recommend them to others looking to go on safari.

A trip for lifetime
We had an amazing safari experience and are extremely happy with the whole trip.
Our trip coordinator, Morris, was excellent from start to finish. He was very good at planning the itinerary and communication was always clear and prompt, both before the trip and throughout our journey. Everything was well organised, which made the whole experience very smooth and stress-free.
Our guide, Joseph, was also fantastic. He was extremely good at spotting animals and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the parks. He was always punctual, drove safely even on some very difficult roads, and worked hard to make sure we had the best possible safari experience.
We were incredibly lucky with our wildlife sightings. We saw four of the Big Five, with rhinos being the only ones we missed. One of the biggest highlights was seeing wildebeest crossing while lions and crocodiles were hunting — both on land and in the water. It was such an incredible and unforgettable experience. We also had several very close lion sightings, including a few occasions where it was just our car there, which made those moments even more special.
Overall, we had a fantastic trip and couldn’t be happier with the experience. A huge thank you to Morris and Joseph for making our safari so memorable. We would definitely recommend them!

Easy Booking and Excellent Organization, Even from Afar
We had an amazing trip through Victoria Falls, Botswana and Namibia, perfectly organized from start to finish.

An unforgettable safari made special by excellent organization, patience, and an amazing guide.
We had such a wonderful safari with Emanuel Silayo. He was calm, patient and very attentive throughout the whole trip. He always took his time to make sure we had the best possible experience, and his patience paid off when we were able to witness the incredible wildebeest river crossing. Our tour guide Willy was amazing! He was knowledgeable, spoke good English, and was also a very patient and reliable driver. Even with our long flight delay, he waited for us and welcomed us with a warm “Hakuna Matata,” which made us feel so much more at ease after the long journey.
He really went all out to make sure we got the most out of our trip. He made sure we saw all the animals we wanted to see, and even contacted other guides in his community to find the best spots for us to get good photos. And with the rough roads, we always felt safe with him driving.
Really grateful to have had him as our guide — he made the whole experience so much more enjoyable! 🦁❤️
