Just perfect
After a flawless first safari in 2024, organized by Kingtomondo, we were delighted with our new safari organized by Lisa in February 2026. We spent six days in Meru, Samburu, and Buffalo Springs with Symon, who had already accompanied us in 2024.
Lisa was very responsive in planning this trip; her proposal was very competitive, and she took great care of our well-being throughout the journey.
The accommodations offered were magnificent and luxurious (which wasn’t a priority but a nice bonus).
Symon is an excellent driver-guide who stopped for every animal, including birds. He understood our expectations very well and fulfilled our wishes as wildlife photographers.
The car was new and spacious.
We will definitely use Kingtomondo again for our next trip to Kenya and highly recommend them.

We had an amazing one-week safari in Kenya with IMARA SAFARI, traveling as a group of four. Everything was very well organized from start to finish.
The selection of lodges and hotels was excellent — comfortable, well located, and perfect for experiencing the different parks. Our itinerary included Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli, which was a fantastic combination of landscapes and wildlife.
Our driver-guide was one of the highlights of the trip. He was very experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly, and it was clear he knew the parks extremely well. Thanks to him we saw an incredible variety of animals and always felt safe and well taken care of. He was also very flexible with the daily schedule and adapted the program when needed so we could make the most of every day.
The safari vehicle was in very good condition and comfortable for the long drives, making the game drives very enjoyable.
Communication with the company was excellent throughout the entire trip. Through WhatsApp we always received very quick responses whenever we needed something. They were also incredibly helpful with several things that were not even part of their responsibilities, which we truly appreciated.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend IMARA SAFARI to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. Professional service, great planning, and an unforgettable adventure.

Good price and beautiful park
The park is truly beautiful. Compared to other safaris, we had never seen so many animals in one day (we were there in march). Our guide was a really good driver and he was decent at spotting animals. We had another guide for a while who was much more enthusiastic and lively though.
We booked a private tour, but due to car problems or other issues, we had to share most of the time with other people in the car.
A friend of a friend recommended doing the budget option, but specifically the lenchada camp wasn’t too great. It’s very basic. It is okay if you prepare well for camping, but we didn’t receive much info beforehand.
The value for price of the whole trip overall was good, cheaper than many other options. But I would recommend the mid range if possible for your budget, other travellers said their lodges were great. Or maybe if they choose another budget camp it can be better. Communications with tour operator was great, very quick reply’s and was flexible.
Overall we enjoyed the experience.

Everything about our Tanzania Safari trip was perfect and I highly recommend Active Wonders for all who are looking for budget safari tours in Tanzania. Actually The Serengeti safari was beyond anything I imagined — every drive brought excitement and awe.
After that, descending into the Ngorongoro Crater felt like entering a living museum — rhinos, flamingos, and lions all in one stunning ecosystem. I felt humbled by the scale and the beauty of nature. Our driver and guide was a very experienced guy. We are very much pleased with the service provided to us by them. The tour organisers Hylie and Taryn promptly responded to all inquiries and kept me informed day to day about the itinerary in detail.
They were also very accommodating when I wanted to change my plans on the day.
All tours, accommodation and meals which were booked were of an excellent standard.
Tour Drivers and guides were professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

Brilliant organisation at very short notice
Julian put together our last-minute three-day safari trip to Namibia at one day’s notice and stayed in touch to make sure all the arrangements went smoothly (they did).
