Amazing Kenya Safari for Our Honeymoon
5/5

We’ve just finished our 6‑day, 5‑night Kenya safari covering Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli.
Tabitha replied to emails very quickly. As it was our honeymoon, she arranged fresh flowers and coordinated with hotels for honeymoon decorations.
Our guide Collin Sempele, with more than 25 years of experience, knows animal habits and local weather very well. We saw the African Big Five and roughly 20‑30 species of animals. He gave us great tips for wildlife sightings and photography, and we got so many amazing shots.
We are very happy with this Kenya trip overall.

Absolutely amazing experience in Tanzania with Roko
5/5

We just spent one month touring South and East Africa and spent a lot of time researching this adventure beforehand. We prefer dealing with small and locally owned companies when possible. We are very fortunate to have chosen Roko Safaris for our Tanzania leg of the trip. First of all, trip planning and communication with both Roko and Miranda was very easy . Our many questions and emails were handled promptly and courteously. This trip was carefully designed around our wishes. Secondly, Roko is a local who grew up in the Masaai community. His insights into local customs and culture added a very special and unique aspect to a safari that is hard, if not impossible, to replicate. This was especially important to us as we were traveling with our 14 year old grandson and we wanted him to have a real and genuine cultural experience. This was far more than just a game viewing safari only and that was a desired outcome for us.

We could not be any more pleased with our time with Roko Safaris. The last thing to mention is that Roko's ability to spot game while on a game drive is remarkeable. We were able to watch and observe animals that other safari vehicles drove past without noticing. I liked the fact that he was not using the radio to go to the game that others had found. It made for a more genuine and relaxed safari experience. I strongly recommend Roko Safaris if you considering a visit to Tanzania. This safari far exceeded our expectations!

We had the best safari experience.
5/5

From the midnight airport pickup, through the safari, to the airport drop off, the Suricata staff were really helpful and couldn't have been any more friendly. Our guide Gerald was amazing. He took the time to find out what we wanted to see, and delivered well beyond our expectations. I thoroughly recommend Suricata to anyone looking for a great Tanzania experience.

Amazing 1 Day Tsavo East Safari
5/5

We selected Steve and Richard Safaris having looked at a few before booking and I can honestly say it was the best decision. Steve was very responsive over WhatsApp and took the time to understand what we wanted. We settled on a LandCruiser vehicle which was perfect. We met up with Steve the day we arrived in Kenya to go over the details and he had everything spot on.

On the day he was already waiting at our hotel reception when we came down at 4.30am for the 2hr 30min drive to Tsavo East. We were very lucky that we had Steve and a driver on this trip, and plenty of bottled water was provided for the day.

We arrived at Tsavo just before 7am and embarked on what must rank as one of the best days ever. Steve was very knowledgeable about the park and the animals we saw which included Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffalo, Impalas, Ostriches and even a Monitor Lizard. It was an amazing day made all the more special when, at the campsite we stopped at for a picnic lunch (which had Baboons everywhere), an Elephant and it's baby walked right through the middle. Unbelievable!

We got back to the hotel around 6.30pm and I can't praise the effort, patience and assistance that Steve provided throughout the whole day and also in the lead up to it. If you book with them you will not regret it.

We would like to highly recommend Axis Africa Safaris. The service was seamless from start to finish. Our guide James Gichina was outstanding; he carefully positioned the vehicle to get us fantastic close viewing angles, and we were fortunate enough to spot all of the Big Five on our safari. Everything was perfectly arranged, and we had an unforgettable experience.

Amazing Experience!
5/5

We’ve just returned from two wonderful weeks in Uganda with Ananias from Prime Safaris.

Our trip got off to a flying start with a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where we came face to face with rhinos on foot.

We then drove on to Murchison Falls National Park, where we admired the waterfall both on foot and by boat. During the boat trip, we were given detailed information about the flora and fauna to be seen in and around the banks of the Nile. The game drives in the park also lived up to our expectations: on the first day, we saw buffalo, elephants, antelopes, warthogs, giraffes and… a leopard! Ananias really did his best to ensure we could see all the animals.

Our next stop was Kibale National Park, where, whilst searching for chimpanzees, we were rewarded with a close encounter with one of the primates. Ananias had briefed us thoroughly on safety during this visit, so we didn’t have to worry at any point.

We then set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we spotted a sleeping lion immediately upon arrival. Later, thanks to Ananias, we also saw the famous tree-climbing lions in Ishasha.

As we naturally wanted to see more primates after the chimpanzees, we decided to go gorilla tracking as well. Ananias had told us beforehand that it could be a long trek and prepared us for that. The hour we spent with the gorillas then flew by and was a real highlight of the trip for us!

The penultimate stop on this trip was at Lake Bunyonyi. There, we had the chance to relax a little more.

Afterwards, we drove on to the final national park on our trip, Lake Mburo. Thanks to Ananias, we were already able to spot a shoebill stork here.

Finally, we headed back to Entebbe, the starting point of our trip. On the morning of our departure, we went in search of the shoebill stork once more and were able to observe this impressive bird up close.

Throughout the entire trip, Ananias made sure we got to sample the delicious local fruit and food. He drove carefully on the challenging roads, so we always felt safe with him in the jeep. His enthusiasm and sense of humour helped make for an unforgettable trip. Thank you, Ananias!

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Family Safari with an Outstanding Team
5/5

Our family recently returned from an incredible safari with Paradise Africa Safari, and it truly exceeded every expectation.

From our very first conversation, John Peter was responsive, patient, and incredibly helpful. He answered every question, customized the itinerary to fit our family’s needs, and made the entire planning process easy and stress-free. Throughout the trip, he checked in to make sure everything was going well, which gave us great peace of mind.

Traveling with a tween can sometimes be a challenge, but this trip kept our daughter engaged and excited every single day. From watching lion cubs to seeing elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, and so many other incredible animals in their natural habitat, every day brought a new adventure that our whole family will remember forever.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, the lodges were wonderful, and every transfer was seamless. Our guides were all knowledgeable, patient, and amazingly skilled at finding wildlife while teaching us about the animals, ecosystems, and local culture.

What stood out most was the level of care and professionalism from everyone involved. We never had to worry about logistics because everything was handled so well, allowing us to simply enjoy the experience.

If you’re considering a safari in Kenya and Tanzania, I wholeheartedly recommend Paradise Africa Safari. Thank you, John Peter and the entire team, for creating memories that our family will treasure for a lifetime.

A comprehensive one-stop operation. Ensure that all necessary detail(s) effectively taken care of
4/5

Our week-long holiday, with stays at 2 (very) different camps, was developed around a proposal provided by eXplore - selected from alternatives that were provided. Comprehensive detail incl all flights and fully inclusive accommodation were effectively incorporated into the itinerary, which was communicated well in advance of departure - particularly liked the on-line platform used to pull together all the travel details in clear and easy to access manner. The trip to Botswana was a fantastic experience that went off largely without any (real) issues.
