Highly professional, eager to make the best experience possible for you.
Unbelievable staff, service, & food. Experience of a lifetime. Cannot say enough about all of them who went above and beyond to make our dreams for the trip come true.
Extremely reliable. Communication prior to the trip was excellent, even a video chat.
Don't go anywhere else, this is the best.

Personalized and Professional
We researched MANY different safari operators and kinds of tours before settling on Chobe House, and we are so glad we chose them. Our group consisted of two married couples; we were all age 60+. The entire Chobe House team was hospitable and gracious; we felt genuinely cared for and well taken care of on every part of our journey. The accommodations and the food were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our guide, Charles, and his assistant, Terry. Bradley was very responsive anytime we sent questions or suggestions, and the booking process was very clear and easy. The Chobe House team took care of every detail, including our transfers and border crossings, since we flew into Victoria Falls. A good example of the personalized care we experienced was Chef Chuga making a gluten free birthday cake so we could celebrate my wife's birthday deep in the heart of the bush (a great way to surprise her!).
We spent an initial few days at Chobe House, on bank of the Chobe River, then the team took us on a wonderful mobile safari that included the Okavango Delta, Khwai and Savuti. The team made sure they knew what was most important to us, and they did a wonderful job of incorporating our requests. We were able to enjoy both water and land-based safari outings, which gave variety to our experience. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife, many great plants, and a wide range of habitats. In addition to the big game one looks forward to seeing on a safari, we are keen birdwatchers, and Charles helped us find both birds and many other kinds of wildlife.
Chobe House can offer a wide variety of safari options, from luxurious stays at Chobe House's property in Kasane to seamless mobile safaris. No matter what options you choose, they will take care of every detail, allowing you to focus on what you came for: natural beauty, amazing wildlife and time spent with those who are dear to you. We would highly recommend anyone considering a safari in Botswana check into Chobe House. They will be great to work with, you feel genuinely cared for, and you will enjoy your safari experience immensely.

Amazing 4-day safari with our private guide and the team and it exceeded all our expectations
We had an amazing 4-day safari in July 2026 with our private guide and the team, and it exceeded all our expectations. Everything was perfectly organized, and every game drive was an unforgettable experience.
A special thank you also goes to the wonderful camp team, who prepared delicious meals every day and ensured that the tent camp was always comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly set up. Their kindness, attention to detail, and warm hospitality made our safari experience even more enjoyable.
Our guide Kanawe was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we saw an incredible variety of animals and learned so much about nature and wildlife along the way.
The private safari with Chobe House allowed us to enjoy every moment at our own pace, and the entire trip was seamless from start to finish.
We highly recommend this safari with Chobe House to anyone looking for a truly memorable and authentic experience. Thank you for making our trip so special—we would definitely come back!

Absolutely Perfect…THE BEST Safari Camping and Lodge Experience!
From the moment we arrived we felt like we were home; the very warmest of welcomes from the team of amazing staff, greeted with Botswana song and the biggest smiles. Bradley, Allan, Penyah, IK, KG, John and the rest of the gang ready and waiting to make our stay the very best it could be. Chobe House is the most authentic property sitting on the Chobe river with such a unique and stunning aspect and offering beautiful accommodation, perfect for our first family safari trip. The rooms are gorgeous, all decorated and furnished with beautiful African inspirations, spacious and the beds are so comfortable. Each room has a delightful en suite bathroom too. There is also a selection of en-suite chalet rooms outside the main house so plenty of room if you’re travelling as a larger group as we were. On arrival our lunch was promptly served and that’s where our amazing culinary journey began! Chefs Sugar and Mavis producing three fantastic meals a day, all freshly cooked and delicious. Travelling with kids aged between ten and sixteen never one moan from any of them! The variation, quality and local produce used excelled any expectations we had and chef Sugar created those delights out in the bush on our two day camping experience, just truly phenomenal. The safari drives and boat trips were the absolute best. Our guides “King Charles” and Kenwa are THE BEST!!! Their knowledge and experience makes for the Safari of a lifetime, they know where to be and when to ensure that you see all the delights the Botswana National Park has to offer. We saw just about every animal there was to see, including the elusive Leopard who was hiding in a tree in the late afternoon. The camping in the National Park is an absolute must, the tents are furnished with comfy beds and the set up is out of this world, it is literally Chobe House recreated in the bush! Sitting by the camp fire sharing stories, dancing and laughing all under the stars with the occasional sounds coming through from the animals around us. We felt completely safe and comfortable that the guides and staff around us had everything under control. I cannot express enough how amazing this holiday has been and how amazing the Chobe House team are. As we left , the Botswana song rang out and the big smiles bid us farewell. This experience has left happy heartfelt emotions that I will never forget and we will definitely be returning to spend more time with the Chobe House family. If you want to experience something truly magical go visit Chobe House and safari with the best, you definitely won’t be

10/10 experience
I cannot put into words how perfect my stay at Chobe House was. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, from start to finish. From the day we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home and were welcomed so warmly by the most amazing team.
Not only are the staff incredibly hardworking and dedicated, but they are also some of the most genuine, kind, and down-to-earth people I have ever met. During our stay, we had the wonderful John looking after us in the house, always making sure we had everything we needed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his kindness and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable.
The house itself is absolutely stunning. The decor is beautiful, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and there is plenty of space for a large family. Every bedroom has its own en-suite, there is a fantastic bar with an impressive selection of drinks, and the outdoor area is just as beautiful as the inside. I also loved the inspirational quotes displayed throughout the house, which added such a lovely personal touch.
The food was another highlight of our stay. Chef Sugar and Mavis are exceptionally talented chefs who prepared the most incredible meals every single day. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.
The safari experiences were truly out of this world and created memories that will stay with us forever. On both the safari drives and the boat trips along the Chobe River, we were lucky enough to have the incredible guides “King Charles” and Kenwa. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for wildlife were remarkable, and they were determined to make sure we saw as many animals as possible before we left. Thanks to them, we had the unforgettable experience of seeing a leopard, along with countless other incredible animals.
One of the absolute highlights of the trip was spending two nights camping in the bush. I honestly cannot recommend this experience enough—it was pure magic. If you choose to visit Chobe House (and you would be crazy not to!), you simply have to include the bush camping experience.
The camp itself was beautifully set up, with incredibly comfortable beds that somehow managed to bring the same warm, homely feeling from Chobe House into the middle of the wilderness. Each evening we sat around the campfire laughing, dancing, and listening to the incredible sounds of the African bush, including lions roaring, elephants, hyenas, and so many other animals. Despite being surrounded by nature, we always felt completely safe and secure, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.
Both evenings several members of the team—including Phenyo, Bradley, Allan, “King Charles,” Kenwa, and many others—joined us around the campfire. They shared stories, taught us dances, laughed with us, and made us feel like we were one big family. Those moments are some of my favourite memories from the entire trip and made the experience even more special.
Chef Sugar also joined us in the bush and somehow managed to prepare unbelievable meals every single day. I still don’t know how he did it! Every dish was outstanding and enjoyed by everyone.
I still can’t stop thinking about the bush camping experience—it was honestly perfect and almost felt like a dream.
Chobe House has given my family memories that will last a lifetime. Every single member of the team played a part in making our stay so unforgettable, and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did. We left with full hearts, incredible memories, and friendships that we will always cherish.
This most definitely will not be our last visit. Thank you, Chobe House, for the holiday of a lifetime—we cannot wait to return!

Very good and organised
We went to Chobe House expecting high standards, but for us it completely exceeded our expectations. We were very warmly welcomed by a fabulous traditional African dance, with lots of smiling staff ready to make our journey the most memorable experience ever, and they certainly didn’t disappoint.
With most of the amazing trips and scenery, Charles and Kenawe found the perfect spots to see such amazing wildlife. The kitchen chefs, Mavis and Sugar, made the most amazing meals planned for us. Lots of friendly staff, such as Allan, Penhya, KJ and IK, made us feel so welcome.
If you’re looking for a safari with a combination of river tours and game drives, honestly, book it – it’s amazing. The staff are amazing, the scenery is amazing, the accommodation is amazing, and the food is amazing.
We would definitely recommend the wild camping in the bush. Thanks to Bradley for hosting us, and James for planning it. You really made us feel at home, and we will be sure to come back.

Absolutely out of this world
We were lucky enough to stay at Chobe House with our friends for what was an absolute once in a life time holiday.
Charles (game viewer driver) picked us up at the airport in the truck and took us to Chobe House and it was a welcoming like no other, all the staff were outside singing and dancing to welcome us which was amazing !
The house is out of this world with a huge social area, plunge pool, BBQ area , a floating restaurant/social area on the river and the fantastic bedrooms which are massive and so secure (to the point we never locked our room or felt the need lock things away).
The staff are super friendly and nothing is any hassle and will go out of their way to do anything for you ( I put some clothes in the wash bag in our bathroom to keep bedroom clean until we left - coming back one day to find they had all been washed and cleaned and folded laid on our bed - I mean you can’t get any better it’s the little things)
The game drives were absolutely breath taking in the reserve wether it was in the truck or the boat - Charles went out of his way to show us the animals and their surroundings getting up close but yet feeling so safe. His knowledge is unbelievable of the animals and area. We never for a minute thoughts we’d get to see what did let alone be so close to them to sit and admire.
We were also lucky enough to go camping twice and this was something else to be out there in the wild with the animals at night hearing every sound from elephants walking past to lions roaring in the distance and all the amazing staff up all night keeping us safe with absolutely no worries just mega nights to remember forever.
This was one of the most amazing holidays we’ve ever had all down to the host and staff of Chobe House making us feel special and providing us with a once in a lifetime experience, We will definitely be coming back.

Chobe House - the perfect safari experience with a bit of everything
This was a safari with a difference. As well as the amazing game drives each day the Chobe House team arranged 2 different nights camping in the bush, various river safaris and even a day out to Victoria Falls.
The lodge has comfortable rooms, a relaxed vibe and sits on the river where it’s pleasant to sit and relax between safaris The food was excellent and drinks, whilst providing a great range, were reasonably priced. The staff are really attentive, welcoming and well trained in customer experience, and were so friendly that they felt like friends by the end of the trip. The lodge is located in Kasane which felt safe to around and has a new and modern airport.
The Chobe National Park has such a wealth of wildlife – we saw leopards, prides of lions, herds of elephants, a cheetah , crocs, water buffalo, wild dogs, hyaena and so much more. The birdlife was incredible too. It was good to vary tours with drives and river safaris which gives a completely new perspective to the wildlife - watching various animals come to the river drink, wash and play, especially the baby elephants!
The unforgettable highlight was our two nights in the bush, coming across a lone male lion roaring on a night drive, sleeping under canvas, sharing a glass or two by a camp-fire with friends and hearing the sounds of wild animals whilst sitting under the stars.
