A magical adventure
5/5

It was more than I expected! Our bushman guide Mike was truly passionate about his animals & country. We were well looked after. The food was plentiful and good. The other 3 bushmen set up our tents, made our beds & cooked the food. We were very close to the animals, no fences anywhere!

An amazing up close encounter with wild animals.
5/5

Solomon and his crew made our 2 week camping safari in Botswana a magical experience to treasure forever. We had our tents put up and pulled down for us, warm bucket showers in the afternoon and warm water for a basin wash in the mornings. Our very professional Solomon knew his animals and had networks, we were often the only vehicle watching animals up close in their natural habitat. It is definitely a must do experience.

Birds and Beast Up Close
5/5

We had a marvelous adventure with Wilderness Dawning Safaris.
From the initial contact I made with them, prior to the trip, until our departure in Livingstone, the Safari was conducted in a skilled and organized manner.
The three members of our safari crew Douglas, Bafani, and Keokeditswe (aka K. K.) conducted themselves as professionals and worked as a team. They were friendly and courteous; efficient in preparing, maintaining and moving the camp; and clear and concise with information and insights regarding daily activities.
I am 71 year old fellow with a terminal and debilitation lung disease and I had an absolutely outstanding experience, on the trip of a lifetime, with Wilderness Dawning Safaris.

A bucket list experience enhanced by the exceptional field (and office) personnel.
5/5

From Samantha's setup online to the exceptional field safari crew of Moola, Douglas, Bafani, and Keokeditswe (aka K. K.), Wilderness dawning hits a home run for tenting immersion safari. We did Okavango and Chobe areas ending in Livingstone Zambia. Although at my age tenting and cots is roughing it a bit, the crew made the experience as comfortable and exciting as possible. They also offer lodges and a houseboat experience with a little more comfort provided. The knowledge of our born and raised Botswana guide KK was unquestionable. We experienced every animal to be expected in the region, except for the elusive Cheeta. KK was even able to seek out a pair of newborn Lion kittens w. mom, hiding out under a dense thorn bush. The camp crew provided some of the best open fire cooking I have ever experienced. The fresh baked bread and cakes, and various cuisines were fantastic! Leopards (6), a pride of 24 lions, as well as many lesser groups or singles, hundreds of elephants, thousands of water buffalo and Impalla, water buck, Kudus, mongoose of several species, Ostrich, Hyena, wild dog packs, hundreds of colourful birds and Giraffes, Hippos, Crocs, Warthogs and much much more! The timing in October seemed good as well, with an extended dry season, verging on drought, just before the rains are to come. If I had any one thing to make issue with (small potatoes!), it would be the sticky zippers on the tents.
