A Perfectly Planned Fly-in Safari – Desert Air Africa Safaris Went Above and Beyond!
Our family had an absolutely wonderful holiday in Namibia, and we cannot thank Desert Air Africa Safaris enough for making it so seamless and memorable. From the very start, the planning process was a true collaboration. We provided our target destinations and budget, and they came back with a thorough first proposal. We then followed up with a Zoom call to fine-tune the itinerary, and they genuinely listened to our wishes. They didn't just give us a cookie-cutter package; they helped us craft a trip that felt perfectly tailored to our family.
The arrangements on the ground were flawless. We asked for a VIP airport pickup service, which they didn't originally offer. However, they went out of their way to source this for us. Even when our arrival flight changed to an earlier time, they immediately re-arranged the pickup without any hassle. I highly recommend this service to future travelers—it saved us so much time getting through customs, which was a blessing after a long journey. The hotels and routes they suggested were excellent. Every property offered great value for money, and most were genuinely outstanding choices that enhanced our overall experience. We also really appreciated that they kept in touch with us via WhatsApp throughout the trip, regularly checking in to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
We did have one minor incident—we unfortunately lost some cash during a hotel stay. We reported it to Desert Air Africa Safaris, and they jumped into action immediately. They contacted the hotel directly on our behalf and worked with them to sort out the situation, which gave us great
Overall, it was a 5-star experience from start to finish. We felt safe, supported, and truly valued as customers. I would highly recommend Desert Air Africa Safaris to anyone planning an adventure to Namibia. We will definitely be booking with them again!

Outstanding Planning, Professional Team, and a Truly Perfect Safari
We traveled through Namibia for one week in May 2026 as a group of four, and Desert Air Africa Safaris – especially Carien – created an absolutely unforgettable, trip‑of‑a‑lifetime experience for us. Their guidance in designing our fly‑in safari itinerary was exceptional: every lodge, activity, and transfer was thoughtfully chosen and perfectly sequenced.

Outstanding organization and professionalism
We had an amazing rtop to Namibia! The landscapes, wildlife and overall atmosphere of the counrty were simply incredible.
The locall travel agency did an excellent job organizing every aspect of our journey. Everything was perfectly arranged, from transportation and accommodation to excursions and daily activities. The team was professional and always ready to assist.

Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience – Luxury Fly-In Safari
We experienced a fly-in safari across Namibia with Desert Air Africa Safaris and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime journey.
If we had to describe Namibia in one word, it would be “amazing.” Even after just one week, we were captivated by the country's breathtaking landscapes, raw beauty and incredible diversity. This certainly won't be our last visit we would love to return and explore even more of what Namibia has to offer.
Traveling by Cessna 210 was an unforgettable way to experience the country. The flying itself was already an incredible experience one that we will never forget. Seeing Namibia's vast deserts, dramatic coastlines and endless wilderness from above gave us a completely different perspective and made the journey between destinations just as memorable as the destinations themselves.
In just one week, we journeyed from the spectacular Fish River Canyon to the rugged Skeleton Coast, taking in some of the most stunning scenery imaginable. Every destination offered something unique and the aerial views made the experience even more special.
A special thank you to our pilot, William, who did an outstanding job throughout the trip. He ensured that every flight was safe, comfortable and enjoyable while helping us make the most of this incredible adventure.
Namibia's untouched beauty and vast landscapes left a lasting impression on us, and we can only hope it remains as pristine and remarkable when we return one day.

Two Aussies Abroad
First time to Namibia.
First time doing a Father and Son Self Drive Safari.
Katya from Desert Air Africa Safari's was excellent in packaging up our individual requirements and adding her personal touches.
The drive through Okonjima Plains, Mushara, and Waterberg was eyewatering. Out of the Big 5 we managed to see 4 - Lion, Leopard, Elephant and Rhinoceros up close and Personal. Unfortunately the Buffalo were in the protected area of Waterberg Plateau and not accessible.
In addition there were many other local animals, Cheetahs, Springboks, Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and a multitude of other fascinating species, big and small, interacting in their natural environment.
All tours at each site was very well executed - couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Would I recommend doing a Self Drive Safari - Too right I would.

Personal and helpful
Carien was very open to my wishes of what to include in my trip and made some great suggestions as well. My request was quite short notice but that wasn’t a problem whatsoever. She was very responsive at all times whenever l had a question. Text messages were clear and not ambiguous, as can be the case sometimes when texting. A satellite phone was arranged right before my safari began, and everything went smoothly, without any stress. She really thought along with me throughout my trip, almost as a friend would do. The price l paid for not having to worry about practicalities was well worth it. The hotels and lodges Carien was able to book for me so close to the date were exquisite, trips and excursions were breathtaking, and the restaurants suggested were very good as well. Carien is friendly, sincere and smart, a real treasure. l highly recommend her for your safari in Namibia!
